Description / Table of Contents:
Notes:
Summary The sorption is performed at a sample-sorbent ratio of 103 ml/g using the simplest experimental technique: shaking for 1 h, decantation, centrifugation. High concentrations of ammonium, alkali and alkaline earth salts do not interfere. All bound metals, except Co, can be reversibly eluted by small acid volumes in a batch or from a column. The eluted metals are quantitatively determined by spectrophotometry (U) or atomic absorption (Co, Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb).
