    Description: The volume, dedicated to the 44th International Conference of the Italian Union for Drawing, investigates the theme of ‘Transitions’, which particularly effectively represents our time and the current condition of the discipline of Drawing. The term, beyond its generic meaning of an intermediate stage in a process in which a condition changes from one state to another, has always been used in various fields, from music to geophysics. In fact, the disciplines of drawing have always been confronted with themes and issues relating to transitions from one condition to another. The history of representation tells us of transformations, even epochal ones, relating to ‘drawing’, with all that such transitions entail: suffice it to think of the evolution of forms of representation, of instrumental apparatuses, of the mutability of supports, of the analogical-digital transition underway, of the new modes of communication on platforms, of the hypertrophic offer of images also on the net that confirms Guy Debord’s intuitions relating to the new spectacularisation of society. Similarly, representation triggers transitions in the prefiguration and communication of design, the anticipation and foreshadowing of future events.The challenges posed by the digital pose open questions whose scope can only be glimpsed, such as the relationship between drawing and the act of modelling, and the construction of new paradigms of visual language and communication. ‘Transitions’, almost implicitly, points to possible futures, the evolution of technique and the search for new modes of expression; at the same time, however, it can suggest silences and reflections in a process of connection between history, theory, criticism and construction.

    Description: Las categorías de Identidad de Género y Cuerpo, en su complejo y enredado interjuego, operan de modo subterráneo a partir de sentidos naturalizados que alimentan la patologización, la inferiorización y la exclusión de aquellas personas cuyas expresiones no son decodificadas bajo los principios de coherencia o autenticidad. Este libro ofrece un recorrido por diferentes miradas teóricas pertenecientes al contexto norteamericano contemporáneo. El abordaje realizado tiende a localizar nudos problemáticos y develar supuestos que participan en la sedimentación de las normas sociales a partir de las cuales toda localización sexo-genérica cobra existencia en función de su mayor o menor desajuste respecto a lo esperable. La riqueza de la perspectiva ofrecida se encuentra en el recorrido más que en la segmentación de sus contenidos. En última instancia, se trata de una cartografía posible que invita a recorrer un territorio complejo.

    Description: Este libro reúne, desde el contexto del hispanismo argentino y sobre la base de diferentes ejes de análisis, áreas de interés de los estudios actuales en torno a la literatura y la cultura españolas que contemplan tanto paradigmas de larga tradición como cuestiones emergentes. La publicación, si bien tiene su origen en el IV Congreso Internacional de Literatura y Cultura Españolas Contemporáneas. Otros diálogos transatlánticos: desde y hacia España. A 90 años de la Generación del 27, que se celebró en la Facultad de Humanidades y Ciencias de la Educación de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata en noviembre de 2017, no constituye una mera edición de exposiciones que tuvieron lugar en la reunión científica, sino que se ha procurado la edición extendida y en muchos casos notoriamente actualizada, de trabajos que adquieren una entidad diferente a través de un abordaje más detenido, pensado para el formato libro y para su integración, a su vez, en un volumen específico. El libro se abre con una participación especial de Joan Oleza y se cierra con dos trabajos abocados a la Generación del 27, a cargo, respectivamente, de Raquel Macciuci, y de Andrés Soria Olmedo. El cuerpo se articula en cinco volúmenes que nuclean diferentes convergencias, tanto en lo concerniente a cuestiones de género literario, disciplina artística y soporte, como de temas y cruces transnacionales: I. Lectores, representaciones del libro, edición e historia(s) de la literatura española; II. Temas, cruces y miradas emergentes en la narrativa española; III. Escrituras del yo y memoria: De la intimidad a la representación literaria de la desaparición y otras formas de violencia de Estado; IV.     Description: El libro reúne datos bibliográficos y resume aportaciones de grandes maestros y de finos eruditos, que han consagrado mucho de su tiempo a perseguir la presencia de aquellos preclaros escritores de la Antigüedad grecolatina en la Tradición occidental. Lo más novedoso de este volumen es su interés por la tradición medieval hispánica, tan olvidada por los grandes maestros, deslumbrados -no sin razón- por las tradiciones culturales francesa, italiana y anglosajona. Se exponen en primer lugar -de lo general a lo particular- los procedimientos hermenéuticos con que los predecesores en el Medievo se han acercado a los textos antiguos. Después, se ofrece una visión general de la presencia de los clásicos en las bibliotecas medievales, para continuar con la presencia de esos mismos autores en los textos medievales. Para concluir, se intenta una semblanza de los principales "humanistas" hispánicos hasta finales del siglo XV. El concepto de humanismo utilizado es amplio y muy discutible, pero claro y útil en este trabajo.
