According to the fossils study of 44 borings the stratigraphy of Paleozoic of the West-Siberian lowland is considered. The first stratigraphical scheme from Devonian to Lower Permian is given for this region. The paper gives the formational analysis as well as notions concerning the tectonic nature of the region, which are based both on this analysis and geophysical data. There are some data on paleozoic geological history of the region.
The monography may be of great interest for geologists - specialists in oil geology, stratigraphists, paleontologists, lecturers and students of higher colleges.

На основании анализа органических остатков, встреченных в разрезах 44 скважин, рассматривается стратиграфия палеозоя Западно-Сибирской равнины. Для девона и карбона нижней nерми приводятся первые для этой области стратиграфические схемы. Дается информационный анализ и основанные на нем и геофизических данных представления о тектонической природе области в палеозое.
Работа представляет интерес для широкого круга геолоrовстратиграфов, палеонтологов, преподавателей и студентов вузов.
