    Description: The paper presents a reasoned review of digital resources useful for historians and the teaching of public history. This review will not be limited only to the tools of search and treatment of sources on the web, but will be directed above all to provide a guidance framework - which will be by the very nature of the digital constantly evolving over time - of those tools, methods and narratives that make use of digital to enhance teaching and research.

    Description: Learning devices can be embedded into organizational contexts. Through them learning processes can be intentionally activated as to transform employees while working. Workplaces have their own learning potential due to their high level of structuring and regulation. Their learning potential transform organizational actors while they are in the productive actions. Identifying embedded learning processes helps in intercepting learning valencies of workplace experiences and observing learning actions that can lead to transformative processes. Results of related research activities are presented in the volume. They have been carried out in more than ten years of research implemented in three types of organisations: business, museum, prison. Research experiences are analysed by using a model of study that is based on the reconstruction of the learning processes as they are experienced by the actors considered. Moreover the model is based on the analysis of learning actions that are embedded into the productive and service provision processes. Factors and conditions are analysed as well through which organisations can act on employees transformation.

    Description: The paper deals with the metting and the collective work which led to the publication of the comic book "Bandierine. Tutta una storia di Resistenze". It deas with a group of stories linked to a story which works as a frame. The coordinator of this job was the author and comic book writer Andrea Paggiaro, known also as Tuono Pettinato, who died in june 2021. In order to cope with the history of Resistenza with we took into account the most recent historical literature. Everyone can judge the efficacy of the book after having read it; htis essay tried to describe the pace taken into consideration for publishing the book.

    Description: The keynote of the recent history of the faculty of educational science of Florence University is change. This has emerged in response to the demands for education expressed by a new knowledge society, spawned by the processes of globalisation, and the social need to foster interculturalism and the dialogue between diversities. In this new dimension of change, education becomes the framework for preparation, but also for re-integrating and updating life itineraries that are swift and precarious, veined with insecurity and disillusionment. Even in the new approach, the scientific and cultural benchmark continues to be a consistent adherence to the secular, historic-pedagogic and educational tradition represented by the masters of the "Florence School". Since its creation in 1996, the new faculty has staked forcefully on the centrality of training in relation to the traditional focus on the professionalism of primary and secondary school teachers, and on the new extra-scholastic training issues: the educational professions; pedagogic care; the social education of adults; the technologies of education and instruction; the philosophic, sociological, psychological and anthropological dimension of education; the broad sphere of hardship and marginalisation and the different faces of diversity.

    Description: In modern societies two processes seem to be carried on simultaneously. On one side, the traditional shape assumed by historical knowledge seems dissolving. On the other side, another exigence has to be affirmed: the necessity to remember, to share their memories. This is a pattern linked to the limits and contradictions which characterised the relationship between present and past. Tracing the steps thanks to which the anti-fascist Resiatance have been taking place in Italy is useful for defining the strong ethic and politic relevance making it a precious tool for democratic convivence.

    Description: The volume starts from the monograph of the author entitled Per una pedagogia di “confine”, deepening a series of pedagogical relationships, from the epistemological level of the relationship of pedagogy with other disciplines, to the theoretical level of learning “over the course of life”, up to the methodological level the relationships researcher/educator, teacher/student, learner in an individual/cooperative situation. From this point of view, the author favours the anthropological-cultural contribution to the integration of educational interventions, making his own communicative and interactive methodologies for the qualification of learning and skills in training processes. The volume is a contribution for the basic pedagogical training of students enrolled in social-sanitary degree courses and other degrees that aim to shape educators.

    Description: In this years, historical witnesses of the Resistenza movement are dissolving. In this context where historical knowledge is facing with a growing crisis, how can we stimulate young generation's interest twoards the Resistance movement? The paper tries to answer to this request. Particularly, we are going to propose two hypothesis for didactical work.     Description: The volume describes experiences of the first twelve years of the Social Sciences Library of the University of Florence in its new location.     Description: On the 21st May 2019, the University of Florence awarded Michele Casalini an honorary degree for his dedication and his important contribution in the field of Library and Archival Sciences. The ceremony, which was held in the Rectorate's Aula Magna in Florence, represents the first recognition of merit for modern library science and the second for library and archival sciences to ever be granted by an Italian university. The text features the complete speeches by Luigi Dei, Rector, by Andrea Zorzi, Director of the SAGAS Department, the Laudatio by Mauro Guerrini, president of the Degree in Library and Archival Sciences and the Lectio Doctoralis by Michele Casalini, entitled La centralità delle biblioteche per il progresso e la democrazia. All the texts are published in Italian and English.
