    Beschreibung: Teachers' beliefs are considered to play a decisive role in the quality of their professional activities. When using digital media in schools and classrooms, specific beliefs about digital media are important in addition to general job-related beliefs. However, there are hardly any empirical findings on the development and change of such convictions. On the basis of professional biographical narrative interviews, the present study recorded the diverse convictions of teachers about digital media, reconstructed individual developmental trajectories and the associated conditions, and worked out different basic patterns on the basis of a typology.
    Beschreibung: Überzeugungen von Lehrpersonen wird eine maßgebliche Rolle hinsichtlich der Qualität ihres Berufshandelns zugeschrieben. Beim Einsatz von digitalen Medien in Schule und Unterricht sind neben allgemeinen berufsbezogenen Überzeugungen auch spezifische Überzeugungen zu digitalen Medien von Bedeutung. Zur Entstehung und Veränderung solcher Überzeugungen sind jedoch noch kaum empirische Erkenntnisse vorhanden. Auf der Basis berufsbiografischer narrativer Interviews wurden in der vorliegenden Studie die vielfältigen Überzeugungen von Lehrpersonen zu digitalen Medien erfasst, individuelle Entwicklungsverläufe und die damit einhergehenden Bedingungen rekonstruiert und anhand einer Typenbildung unterschiedliche Grundmuster herausgearbeitet.

The book presents the certificate course "Educational Science Basics for Teachers with a Refugee Background" at the University of Vienna and research results on it in detail. Das Buch stellt den Zertifikatskurs "Bildungswissenschaftliche Grundlagen für Lehrkräfte mit Fluchthintergrund" an der Universität Wien und Forschungsergebnisse dazu eingehend dar. Weiterhin reflektieren die Lehrenden und die Teilnehmenden ihre Erfahrungen mit dieser Maßnahme.     Beschreibung: What questions does vocational and business education research deal with? The current yearbook provides answers to these questions: it addresses questions about the organisation, conditions and structures of vocational education and training. It discusses approaches to the development of expertise, the structures of 'dual' or 'dualistic' vocational education and training and the consequences of the academicisation of vocational education and training. Further contributions focus on vocational teaching, learning and teaching research as well as questions of higher education and teacher training research, including the specificities of part-time degree programmes. Finally, the authors ask about the significance of continuing vocational training for companies and employees in the skilled trades and about approaches for assessing trainees in company practice. The yearbook concludes with an overview of historical vocational textbook research.
