    Description: How is creativity created in fashion? Judith Nyfeler examines the actors involved along with their specific organizational methods (routines, technologies, projects, cooperations) and linguistic expressions (narratives, shows, storytelling). It turns out that instead of constantly renewing, variants are formed, whereby the formal facade of creativity and the operative activities of production are organizationally resolved from each other. The formation of variants is enhanced by language elements, which are always worked on, which in turn represents the basis for change as well as stability in fashion.

Judith Nyfeler untersucht die daran beteiligten Akteure samt ihrer spezifischen Organisationsweisen (Routinen, Technologien, Projekte, Kooperationen) und sprachlichen Ausdrucksformen (Narrative, Shows, Storytelling). Dabei zeigt sich: Anstatt sich ständig zu erneuern, werden Varianten gebildet, wodurch die formale Fassade der Kreativität und die operativen Aktivitäten der Produktion organisatorisch voneinander gelöst werden. Die Variantenbildung wird durch Sprachelemente verstärkt, die stets mitbearbeitet werden, was wiederum die Grundlage für den Wandel, aber auch die Stabilität in der Mode darstellt.

    Description: A part of sociology always wants to distance itself from any interference in the practice, and another part to influence society. In the first case, sociology sees itself as a science that looks at society from the outside. In the second case, she can not evade her affiliation with society. But what do these supposedly contradictory goals mean for sociologists and what does that say about the subject itself? Natalie Mevissen investigates the relationship of sociology to society with the help of hermeneutic interview analyzes and at the same time formulates conditions for a sociology of sociology in theory and methodology. She advocates a change of perspective: away from a problem discourse towards a perspective of the elective affinity of sociology with society.
    Description: Ein Teil der Soziologie will sich seit jeher von jeglicher Einmischung in die Praxis distanzieren, ein anderer Teil in die Gesellschaft hineinwirken. Im ersten Fall begreift die Soziologie sich als Wissenschaft, die von Außen auf die Gesellschaft schaut. Im zweiten Fall kann sie sich ihrer Zugehörigkeit zur Gesellschaft nicht entziehen. Was jedoch bedeuten diese vermeintlich widersprüchlichen Ziele für Soziolog*innen und was sagt das über das Fach selbst aus? Natalie Mevissen untersucht das Verhältnis der Soziologie zur Gesellschaft mit Hilfe hermeneutischer Interviewanalysen und formuliert zugleich Bedingungen für eine theoretisch wie methodologisch fundierte Wissenschaftssoziologie der Soziologie. Sie plädiert für einen Perspektivwechsel: weg von einem Problemdiskurs hin zu einer Perspektive der Wahlverwandtschaft der Soziologie mit der Gesellschaft.

    Description: Between the world wars, Robert Musil and Hermann Broch replied to an era of catastrophes, which they brought close to their bodies with their protagonists, who were entangled in ideological salvation hopes: a pathogenesis of the bourgeois world for the 1930s. The fact that after 1933 they took their contemporaries' longing for a "world view" more and more seriously has often irritated the newborn. However, her »2nd order world view novel«, which is being unfolded here for the first time, still testifies to the enormous historical project of engaging with the language of the time and tracking down its most fatal tendencies with literary empathy and critical distance.
    Description: Robert Musil und Hermann Broch antworteten zwischen den Weltkriegen auf eine Epoche der Katastrophen, der sie mit ihren in weltanschauliche Erlösungshoffnungen verstrickten Protagonisten nah auf den Leib rückten: eine Pathogenese der bürgerlichen Welt für die 1930er Jahre. Dass sie nach 1933 die Sehnsucht ihrer Zeitgenossen nach einer »Weltanschauung« immer ernster nahmen, hat die Nachgeborenen nicht selten irritiert. Doch bezeugt noch heute ihr »Weltanschauungsroman 2. Ordnung«, der hier erstmals entfaltet wird, das gewaltige historische Projekt, sich auf die Sprache der Zeit einzulassen und ihren fatalsten Tendenzen mit literarischer Einfühlung und kritischer Distanz nachzuspüren.

Dieser Prozess ist aber mit nicht unerheblichen rechtlichen und gesellschaftlichen Herausforderungen konfrontiert. Birgit Schmidtke untersucht aus einer anerkennungs- und beratungstheoretischen Perspektive, welche Handlungsstrategien die Berater_innen in Auseinandersetzung mit den rechtlichen und gesellschaftlichen Bedingungen entwickeln. Sie liefert eine systematische Beschreibung sowie pädagogische Begründung von Anerkennungsberatung als Fachberatung und zeigt auf, wie sich Bildungs- und Berufsberatung in der Migrationsgesellschaft positionieren kann.

    Description: The process of state building in Cameroon developed violently despite international observation and the UN mandated fiduciary situation. The central issue was the conflict over the transfer of the monopoly on violence and the communication of security, insecurity and threats, since anti-colonial forces, local elites and international administrators conveyed their claims to the future state through security talks. In thinking together of post-colonial theories and security research, Maria Ketzmerick develops a perspective on the state-building process, which has explanatory content for current conflict situations in Cameroon, and also determines narratives of security that have been updated in the post-colonial state.
    Description: Der Staatsbildungsprozess in Kamerun entwickelte sich trotz internationaler Beobachtung und UN-mandatierter Treuhandsituation gewaltvoll. Zentral war der Konflikt um die Übergabe des Gewaltmonopols und die Kommunikation von Sicherheit, Unsicherheit und Bedrohung, da anti-koloniale Kräfte, lokale Eliten und internationale Verwalter ihre Ansprüche an den zukünftigen Staat über Sicherheitssprechen vermittelten. Im Zusammendenken von postkolonialen Theorien und Sicherheitsforschung entwickelt Maria Ketzmerick eine Verlaufsperspektive auf den Staatsbildungsprozess, die Erklärungsgehalt für aktuelle Konfliktlagen in Kamerun hat, und ermittelt darüber hinaus Narrative von Sicherheit, die im postkolonialen Staat eine Fortschreibung erfuhren.

Here Franz Liszt's future-oriented work and the legacy of the Weimar Classic combined under the reign of an ambitious Weimar court to a not unproblematic synthesis, the consequences of which did not leave Wagner unaffected. The contributions of the volume examine these interactions between culture and politics.

    Description: Prototypes migrate from the workshops to society. They are no longer considered deficient because of incomplete objects. Rather, it is through the design of the material provisional that the social day after tomorrow is shaped and technologised. The production and reception of these artefacts is transformed from an exclusive expert activity to a public social practice: Prototypes are produced in publicly accessible Makerspaces and celebrated in urban event formats. Sascha Dickel shows that this can also be accompanied by a new form of criticism that does not oppose the technologization of the social, but opens up ways to design alternative futures in a technologically integrated world.
    Description: Prototypen wandern aus den Werkstätten in die Gesellschaft. Sie gelten nicht länger als defizitäre, weil unvollständige Objekte. Vielmehr wird gerade durch das Design des materiell Vorläufigen das gesellschaftliche Übermorgen gestaltet und technologisiert. Die Produktion und Rezeption dieser Artefakte verwandelt sich dabei von einer exklusiven Expertentätigkeit zu einer öffentlichen sozialen Praxis: Prototypen werden in öffentlich zugänglichen Makerspaces hergestellt und in urbanen Eventformaten zelebriert. Sascha Dickel zeigt, dass damit auch eine neue Form der Kritik einhergehen kann, die nicht gegen die Technologisierung des Sozialen opponiert, sondern Wege erschließt, in einer technologisch verbauten Welt alternative Zukünfte zu entwerfen.

    Description: The rise of the term "environment" to describe the present marks the influence that reflection on environmental relations and the possibility of engineering artificial environments have gained since the mid-nineteenth century. In closed artificial worlds such as space stations or artificial ecosystems, the entanglement of the "environment" with the surrounding organisms becomes the subject of a biopolitics that today opens up new spaces in autonomous environmental control technologies. Florian Sprenger pursues this transformation of ecological environmental knowledge with the aim of better understanding current technologies, making the term understandable and highlighting the biopolitical dimension of each ecology.
    Description: Der Aufstieg des Begriffs »Environment« zur Beschreibung der Gegenwart markiert den Einfluss, den das Nachdenken über Umgebungsrelationen und die Möglichkeit der technischen Gestaltung künstlicher Umgebungen seit Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts gewonnen haben. In geschlossenen artifiziellen Welten wie Raumstationen oder künstlichen Ökosystemen wird die Verschränkung des »Environments« mit den umgebenen Organismen zum Gegenstand einer Biopolitik, die heute in autonomen Technologien der Umgebungskontrolle neue Räume erschließt. Laurin Mackowitz' Vergleich von Sigmund Freuds, Thomas Manns, Michael Walzers und Paolo Virnos Auseinandersetzungen mit dem Exodus zeigt allerdings, dass dieser Mythos nicht nur zur narrativen Verankerung von Gerechtigkeit und Freiheit, sondern ebenso zur Konstruktion nationaler Identitäten und Legitimierung despotischer Politiken benutzt werden kann.
