    Chapter L’interazione visibile: transizioni tra modelli analogici e digitali per le ricostruzioni storiche (2024)

    Description: The volume, dedicated to the 44th International Conference of the Italian Union for Drawing, investigates the theme of ‘Transitions’, which particularly effectively represents our time and the current condition of the discipline of Drawing. The term, beyond its generic meaning of an intermediate stage in a process in which a condition changes from one state to another, has always been used in various fields, from music to geophysics. In fact, the disciplines of drawing have always been confronted with themes and issues relating to transitions from one condition to another. The history of representation tells us of transformations, even epochal ones, relating to ‘drawing’, with all that such transitions entail: suffice it to think of the evolution of forms of representation, of instrumental apparatuses, of the mutability of supports, of the analogical-digital transition underway, of the new modes of communication on platforms, of the hypertrophic offer of images also on the net that confirms Guy Debord’s intuitions relating to the new spectacularisation of society. Similarly, representation triggers transitions in the prefiguration and communication of design, the anticipation and foreshadowing of future events.The challenges posed by the digital pose open questions whose scope can only be glimpsed, such as the relationship between drawing and the act of modelling, and the construction of new paradigms of visual language and communication. ‘Transitions’, almost implicitly, points to possible futures, the evolution of technique and the search for new modes of expression; at the same time, however, it can suggest silences and reflections in a process of connection between history, theory, criticism and construction.

Der hier gewählte Ansatz zur Reduzierung dieser Spannungen ist der Einsatz einer funktional gradierten Zwischenschicht. Vier verschiedene Herstellungsverfahren wurden erprobt mit dem Ziel gradierten Wolfram/Stahl-Zwischenschichten zu realisieren. Nach erfolgreicher Produktion und Charakterisierung wurden die gradierten Schichten mit Stahl- bzw. Wolframvollmaterial mittels Diffusionsschweißen gefügt.

    Description: Leonard Bloomfield's "Language" (1933) is one of the most important books on linguistics and it is also one of the most frequently quoted. It is very unusual that a scientific book that has been on the market for 67 years has not become outdated. Unbelievably enough, it has never been translated into German, although Bloomfield spoke German like his mother-tongue. His family came from Austria an he specialized in Germanic linguistics. This edition of ,Language" aims to fill this gap and furthermore tries to reflect Bloomfield's ideas in the light of modem linguistics. Therefore it is not a mere translation but a commentated reader , of Bloomfield's ,,Language" and a scientific publication in its own right.
    Description: Leonard Bloomfields Buch "Language" (1933) zählt zu den Klassikern der Sprachwissenschaft, es ist eines der meistzitierten Bücher auf diesem Gebiet. Es kommt nicht oft vor, dass ein geisteswissenschaftliches Werk im siebenten Jahrzehnt nach seinem Erscheinen kaum veraltet ist. Eigenartigerweise existierte bislang keine deutsche Übersetzung, und das, obwohl Bloomfield, der altösterreichischer Herkunft war und Deutsch wie seine Muttersprache beherrschte, als ausgebildeter Germanist das Deutsche in seinem Werk besonders ausführlich behandelt. Diese Lücke soll diese deutsche Erstausgabe schließen, wobei im Kommentar ausführlich auf die vergangenen 66 Jahre Forschungsgeschichte eingegangen wird. Dadurch geht diese Ausgabe aber auch über eine reine Übersetzung hinaus erhält den Charakter einer eigenständigen wissenschaftlichen. Publikation.

    Description: The volume, dedicated to the 44th International Conference of the Italian Union for Drawing, investigates the theme of ‘Transitions’, which particularly effectively represents our time and the current condition of the discipline of Drawing. The term, beyond its generic meaning of an intermediate stage in a process in which a condition changes from one state to another, has always been used in various fields, from music to geophysics. In fact, the disciplines of drawing have always been confronted with themes and issues relating to transitions from one condition to another. The history of representation tells us of transformations, even epochal ones, relating to ‘drawing’, with all that such transitions entail: suffice it to think of the evolution of forms of representation, of instrumental apparatuses, of the mutability of supports, of the analogical-digital transition underway, of the new modes of communication on platforms, of the hypertrophic offer of images also on the net that confirms Guy Debord’s intuitions relating to the new spectacularisation of society. Similarly, representation triggers transitions in the prefiguration and communication of design, the anticipation and foreshadowing of future events.The challenges posed by the digital pose open questions whose scope can only be glimpsed, such as the relationship between drawing and the act of modelling, and the construction of new paradigms of visual language and communication. ‘Transitions’, almost implicitly, points to possible futures, the evolution of technique and the search for new modes of expression; at the same time, however, it can suggest silences and reflections in a process of connection between history, theory, criticism and construction.

    Description: Die vorgelegten Analyseresultate verstehen sich als Beitrag zur Erforschung neologistischer Wortbildungsstrukturen des Russischen. Ihre Beschreibung erfolgt im Wesentlichen auf der Basis des Jachnow, H., Wortbildung und ihre Modellierung anhand des serbokroatischen Verbalbereichs, Wiesbaden, 1978 vorgelegten Wortbildungsmodells, in dem der Wortbildungsgenerator des AGM von S.K. Šaumjan modifiziert und weiterentwickelt wird. Zusätzlich werden bei der Modellierung des gegebenen Materials neue eigene Erkentnisse und die Resultate der jüngsten Wortbildungsforschung, insbesondere der sowjetischen, ausgewertet.

    Description: The volume, dedicated to the 44th International Conference of the Italian Union for Drawing, investigates the theme of ‘Transitions’, which particularly effectively represents our time and the current condition of the discipline of Drawing. The term, beyond its generic meaning of an intermediate stage in a process in which a condition changes from one state to another, has always been used in various fields, from music to geophysics. In fact, the disciplines of drawing have always been confronted with themes and issues relating to transitions from one condition to another. The history of representation tells us of transformations, even epochal ones, relating to ‘drawing’, with all that such transitions entail: suffice it to think of the evolution of forms of representation, of instrumental apparatuses, of the mutability of supports, of the analogical-digital transition underway, of the new modes of communication on platforms, of the hypertrophic offer of images also on the net that confirms Guy Debord’s intuitions relating to the new spectacularisation of society. Similarly, representation triggers transitions in the prefiguration and communication of design, the anticipation and foreshadowing of future events.The challenges posed by the digital pose open questions whose scope can only be glimpsed, such as the relationship between drawing and the act of modelling, and the construction of new paradigms of visual language and communication. ‘Transitions’, almost implicitly, points to possible futures, the evolution of technique and the search for new modes of expression; at the same time, however, it can suggest silences and reflections in a process of connection between history, theory, criticism and construction.

    Description: In the present work three Russian coordinating connectors are examined, which are very similar in at least one of their partial meanings: they can all be translated with German 'and'. For the connectors 'a' and 'da' in the dictionaries and grammars also a meaning 'but' is given. Another peculiarity of these lexemes is that they exist both as conjunction and as identical particles.
    Description: In der vorliegenden Arbeit werden drei russische koordinierende Konnektoren untersucht, die sich zumindest in einer ihrer Teilbedeutungen sehr ähnlich sind: sie können alle mit dt. 'und' übersetzt werden. Für die Konnektoren 'a' und 'da' wird in den Wörterbüchern und Grammatiken auch noch eine Bedeutung 'aber' angegeben. Eine weitere Besonderheit dieser Lexeme ist, daß sie sowohl als Konjunktion als auch als gleichlautende Partikel existieren.

    Description: From March 16-19, 2016, the Young Romance Studies Forum on "Center and Periphery" took place at the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg. In this volume, the dialectical concepts of center and periphery are examined from the perspectives of literary, linguistic, and cultural studies. Their relevance in Romania is examined in the individual contributions on the basis of geographical, spatial, historical, social, and linguistic aspects, in order to include different approaches and methods of analysis. In addition to a heterogeneous approach to the dimensions of the conceptual pair, the volume offers a structured presentation of the individual phenomena studied. The two thematic blocks focus, on the one hand, on diverse literary studies considerations of the dichotomy of the conceptual pair, and, on the other hand, on linguistic conceptions of center and periphery. Thus, new perspectives on both central and peripheral phenomena in Romance studies are opened up, on the one hand by presenting the range of (traditional) centers and peripheries, and on the other hand by referring to current discussions in the context of the two concepts.

Die Beiträge des Bandes legen dar, in welchen Formen und mit welchen Funktionen literarische Mehrsprachigkeit in Prozessen der Transkulturation zum Ausdruck kommt.     Description: The volume, dedicated to the 44th International Conference of the Italian Union for Drawing, investigates the theme of ‘Transitions’, which particularly effectively represents our time and the current condition of the discipline of Drawing. The term, beyond its generic meaning of an intermediate stage in a process in which a condition changes from one state to another, has always been used in various fields, from music to geophysics. In fact, the disciplines of drawing have always been confronted with themes and issues relating to transitions from one condition to another. The history of representation tells us of transformations, even epochal ones, relating to ‘drawing’, with all that such transitions entail: suffice it to think of the evolution of forms of representation, of instrumental apparatuses, of the mutability of supports, of the analogical-digital transition underway, of the new modes of communication on platforms, of the hypertrophic offer of images also on the net that confirms Guy Debord’s intuitions relating to the new spectacularisation of society. Similarly, representation triggers transitions in the prefiguration and communication of design, the anticipation and foreshadowing of future events.The challenges posed by the digital pose open questions whose scope can only be glimpsed, such as the relationship between drawing and the act of modelling, and the construction of new paradigms of visual language and communication. ‘Transitions’, almost implicitly, points to possible futures, the evolution of technique and the search for new modes of expression; at the same time, however, it can suggest silences and reflections in a process of connection between history, theory, criticism and construction.

Hierunter sind die slavischen Benennungen sowie die altungarischen Benennungen mittels slavischer Entlehnungen zu verstehen. Es sollen folgende Fragen beantwortet werden: a) In welchen Gebieten treten slavische Benennungen konzentriert auf? b) Welchen Slavinen lassen sich die ermittelten ON slavischer Herkunft zuordnen? Ohne die Kenntnis der Besonderheiten ungarischer Ortsnamengebung bleiben die mit slavischen Entlehnungen gebildeten altungarischen ON von Bács-Bodrog unverständlich.     Description: Ein Aspekt des Kontaktes zwischen zwei Sprachen ist der Bereich der Entlehnung "im Sinne von Überführung eines Zeichens/Wortes aus einer Sprache in eine andere" (Lewandowski 1976, II: 415). Gegenstand der Untersuchung ist das Lehnwort, ein, "aus einer anderen Sprache übernommenes, eingebürgertes und dem eigenen Sprachsystem angepaßtes Wort". Die besonders in der Germanistik verbreitete Diskussion der Frage "Lehnwort" oder "Fremdwort" soll hierbei nicht berücksichtigt werden. Das Ziel ist es, eine genau definierte Gruppe von Lehnwörtern (vgl. hierzu den Abschnitt "Definition des Untersuchungsgegenstandes") auf die Regelmäßigkeiten ihrer phonologischen Übernahmemechanismen hin zu untersuchen.

    Description: Sprachliche und kommunikative Kompetenz ist, wenn auch mit unterschiedlichen Schwerpunkten, eines von vielen Lernzielen für Lernende in allen Bildungseinrichtungen von der Kindertageseinrichtung bis zur Universität. Gefordert wird unter anderem die Produktion von komplexen Diskurseinheiten auf bildungssprachlichem Niveau. Bildungssprache soll in diesem Zusammenhang als ein detaillierter, kontextentbundener verständlicher sowie begrifflich präziser (Morek und Heller 2012, S. 68). Sprachgebrauch mit dem übergeordneten Merkmal der Explizitheit (Feilke 2012) verstanden werden. Das Sprechen kann dabei unter anderem als Werkzeug der Wissensvermittlung (kommunikativ) und des Denkens (epistemisch) fungieren (Morek und Heller 2012). Wie bildungssprachliche Fähigkeiten vermittelt werden können, ist allerdings noch nicht abschließend geklärt (Feilke 2012). Hinzu kommt, dass sich zumindest bezüglich des mündlichen Sprachgebrauchs in Lehr- und Lernkontexten häufig wenig Gelegenheit zum Einüben längerer Redebeiträge bietet. Die Kommunikation über Texte erscheint hierfür schon aufgrund der Annahme geeignet, dass Texte eigentlich erst während der Rezeption von den Rezipient*innen konstruiert werden. Wir gehen mit Hausendorf et al. 2017 davon aus, dass Texte Lesbarkeitshinweise bereitstellen, die von den Rezipient*innen zur Konstruktion ihrer eigenen mentalen Modelle genutzt werden. Diese können als Ausgangspunkt für Gespräche mit längeren Redebeiträgen (epistemische Funktion) verwendet werden, in denen Bedeutungen immer wieder ausgehandelt werden (kommunikative Funktion). Solche Aushandlungen sind zwangsläufig kontextentbunden und fordern auch einen gewissen Grad an sprachlicher Explizitheit. Eine Möglichkeit ist die Verwendung literarischer Texte als Gesprächsanlass. Im Sinne eines erweiterten Textbegriffs (vgl. Staiger 2007) sollen darunter Texte in allen Medien verstanden werden, wie z. B. Bilderbücher, Computerspiele, Comics, Gedichte oder Filme. Die Offenheit literarischer Texte ermöglicht es, dass sie auf stets variierende Art interpretiert und verstanden werden können (vgl. Charlton und Sutter 2007). Dies entlastet die Interaktant*innen davon, eine „richtige Antwort“ geben zu müssen. In Anschluss- oder Begleitkommunikationen wie z.B. in Vorlesegesprächen (vgl. u.a. Wieler 1997, Spinner 2004, Gressnich et al. 2015) sind unterschiedliche Sichtweisen auf die Texte sogar ein erwünschter Effekt, der es auch Rezipient*innen mit sehr unterschiedlichen Wissensständen ermöglicht, sich über die Texte auszutauschen. Außerdem können die am Gespräch Teilnehmenden insofern voneinander lernen, als dass sie die unterschiedlichen Sichtweisen auf den Text nachvollziehen. Auch von der eigenen Deutung abweichende Äußerungen bergen ein großes Potenzial, weil sie dazu veranlassen, die eigene Haltung zum Text zu reflektieren, sie argumentierend zu verteidigen oder zu modifizieren (vgl. u.a. Spinner 2010, Preußer 2017, Heizmann 2019). Im vorliegenden Sammelband werden in elf Beiträgen unterschiedliche Perspektiven und verschiedene Erhebungs- und Auswertungskontexte, unter denen Gespräche über literarische Texte aktuell betrachtet werden, vorgestellt.

    Description: The volume, dedicated to the 44th International Conference of the Italian Union for Drawing, investigates the theme of ‘Transitions’, which particularly effectively represents our time and the current condition of the discipline of Drawing. The term, beyond its generic meaning of an intermediate stage in a process in which a condition changes from one state to another, has always been used in various fields, from music to geophysics. In fact, the disciplines of drawing have always been confronted with themes and issues relating to transitions from one condition to another. The history of representation tells us of transformations, even epochal ones, relating to ‘drawing’, with all that such transitions entail: suffice it to think of the evolution of forms of representation, of instrumental apparatuses, of the mutability of supports, of the analogical-digital transition underway, of the new modes of communication on platforms, of the hypertrophic offer of images also on the net that confirms Guy Debord’s intuitions relating to the new spectacularisation of society. Similarly, representation triggers transitions in the prefiguration and communication of design, the anticipation and foreshadowing of future events.The challenges posed by the digital pose open questions whose scope can only be glimpsed, such as the relationship between drawing and the act of modelling, and the construction of new paradigms of visual language and communication. ‘Transitions’, almost implicitly, points to possible futures, the evolution of technique and the search for new modes of expression; at the same time, however, it can suggest silences and reflections in a process of connection between history, theory, criticism and construction.

    Description: Thinking about language contact and language mixture has been part of the European-Western preoccupation with language from the very beginning. Starting with Plato in the fourth century B.C., it is for a long time an unexcited reflection, until the perspective changes radically in the 19th century: the normality is suddenly gone, contact and mixture become first a research taboo and only a little later a serious research focus, from which a separate discipline, contact linguistics, emerges. This book tells for the first time the history of the study of language contact up to the threshold of the 20th century and shows how critical-historiographical studies can help to classify and advance current debates (e.g. in creole studies).
    Description: Das Nachdenken über Sprachkontakt und Sprachmischung ist von Beginn an Teil der europäisch-abendländischen Beschäftigung mit Sprache. Angefangen bei Platon im vierten vorchristlichen Jahrhundert, ist es für lange Zeit ein unaufgeregtes Nachdenken, bis sich im 19. Jahrhundert der Blickwinkel radikal ändert: Die Normalität ist plötzlich weg, Kontakt und Mischung werden erst zu einem Forschungstabu und nur wenig später zum ernsthaften Forschungsfokus, aus dem eine eigene Disziplin, die Kontaktlinguistik, hervorgeht. Dieses Buch erzählt erstmals die Geschichte der Erforschung von Sprachkontakt bis an die Schwelle zum 20. Jahrhundert und zeigt, wie kritisch-historiografische Studien helfen können, aktuelle Debatten (z. B. in der Kreolistik) einzuordnen und voranzubringen.

    Description: Diese Arbeit untersucht das Verhältnis zwischen Syntaxmodell und lexikalischen Valenzeigenschaften anhand der Familie der Baumadjunktionsgrammatiken (TAG) und anhand der Phänomenbereiche Kohärenz und Ellipse. Wie die meisten prominenten Syntaxmodelle betreibt TAG eine Amalgamierung von Syntax und Valenz, die oft zu Realisierungsidealisierungen führt. Es wird jedoch gezeigt, * dass TAG dabei gewisse Realisierungsidealisierungen vermeidet und Diskontinuität bei Kohärenz direkt repräsentieren kann; * dass TAG trotzdem und trotz der im Vergleich zu GB, LFG und HPSG wesentlich eingeschränkten Ausdrucksstärke zu einer linguistisch sinnvollen Analyse kohärenter Konstruktionen herangezogen werden kann; * dass der TAG-Ableitungsbaum für die indirekte Gapping-Modellierung eine ausreichend informative Bezugsgröße darstellt. Für  die direkte Repräsentation von Gapping-Strukturen wird schließlich ein baumbasiertes Syntaxmodell, STUG, vorgeschlagen, in dem Syntax und Valenz getrennt, aber verlinkt sind.

    Description: Das Wachstum des zivilen Luftverkehrs bedeutet eine große Herausforderung für die Luftfahrtbranche. Nur durch effizientere Triebwerke können der spezifische Verbrauch von fossilen Energieträgern und die spezifischen Emissionen reduziert werden und so der Zugang zu Flugreisen für die wachsende Weltbevölkerung sichergestellt werden. Einen maßgeblichen Beitrag zur Steigerung der Effizienz kann die Optimierung der Kühlung von heißen Komponenten des Kerntriebwerks leisten. Gerade im thermisch hoch belasteten Bereich der ersten Turbinenstufen werden große Mengen an Kühlluft verwendet, die sich negativ auf den thermischen Wirkungsgrad auswirken. Neue Kühlverfahren ermöglichen es, den Kühlluftbedarf bei gleichen Standzeiten der Bauteile zu verringern. Vor einem möglichen Einsatz müssen diese neuen Verfahren untersucht und ihre Leistungsfähigkeit bestimmt werden, vor allem die Vorhersage der Materialtemperatur der Schaufeln muss hoch präzise erfolgen. Die vorliegende Arbeit präsentiert neue Verfahren zur Kühlung von Rotorschaufeln. Es wird speziell auf die Drallkühlung eingegangen, die sich in grundlegenden Untersuchungen und in Verbindung mit den sich rapide verbessernden Möglichkeiten der additiven Fertigung als vielversprechendes Verfahren herausgestellt hat. Zur Beurteilung der neuen Konzepte werden Untersuchungen durchgeführt, bei denen die wichtigen strömungsmechanischen Ähnlichkeitskennzahlen der Maschine eingehalten werden. So können die Ergebnisse unmittelbar auf den Einsatz im Triebwerk übertragen werden. Die Untersuchungen bedeuten eine Herausforderung für die als Messtechnik eingesetzte Infrarotthermographie. Neue Kalibrierverfahren werden entwickelt und überprüft. Durch Anwendung dieser Verfahren kann die Oberflächentemperatur der Prüflinge hoch genau bestimmt werden. Anhand der mit den neuen Verfahren bestimmten Verteilung der Oberflächentemperatur und weiteren aerodynamischen Messungen werden abschließend Empfehlungen formuliert, wie ein auf Drallkühlung basierendes Kühlsystem für Turbinenrotorschaufeln leistungsfähiger werden kann und so die geforderte Lebensdauer dieser Bauteile sicherstellen kann.

    Description: Im Unterschied zu den meisten anderen Arbeiten, die einen Redeteil herausgreifen und dann analysieren, von welchen Redeteilen die ihm angehörigen Lexeme deriviert sind, wird hier eine andere Richtung verfolgt. Es soll gezeigt werden: a) welche Wörter aus welchen Redeteilen von Angehörigen eines bestimmten Redeteils (des Redeteils "Adjektiv") als abgeleitet gedacht werden können und b) über welche Ausdrucksmittel das Russische verfügt, um aus diesem Fundus von Lexemen mit bestimmten Bedeutungen und Formen andere Lexeme mit modifizierten Bedeutungen abzuleiten, ferner, c) wie diese Mittel kombiniert werden und schließlich d) wie sie sich im Hinblick auf ihre funktionelle Belastung (functional load, funkcional'naja nagruzka) voneinander unterscheiden.

    Description: The volume, dedicated to the 44th International Conference of the Italian Union for Drawing, investigates the theme of ‘Transitions’, which particularly effectively represents our time and the current condition of the discipline of Drawing. The term, beyond its generic meaning of an intermediate stage in a process in which a condition changes from one state to another, has always been used in various fields, from music to geophysics. In fact, the disciplines of drawing have always been confronted with themes and issues relating to transitions from one condition to another. The history of representation tells us of transformations, even epochal ones, relating to ‘drawing’, with all that such transitions entail: suffice it to think of the evolution of forms of representation, of instrumental apparatuses, of the mutability of supports, of the analogical-digital transition underway, of the new modes of communication on platforms, of the hypertrophic offer of images also on the net that confirms Guy Debord’s intuitions relating to the new spectacularisation of society. Similarly, representation triggers transitions in the prefiguration and communication of design, the anticipation and foreshadowing of future events.The challenges posed by the digital pose open questions whose scope can only be glimpsed, such as the relationship between drawing and the act of modelling, and the construction of new paradigms of visual language and communication. ‘Transitions’, almost implicitly, points to possible futures, the evolution of technique and the search for new modes of expression; at the same time, however, it can suggest silences and reflections in a process of connection between history, theory, criticism and construction.

    Description: Los estudios relativos a la fonética y fonología de las lenguas se hallan en una significativa etapa de crecimiento. En todo el mundo y desde diferentes rutas lingüísticas, se llevan a cabo investigaciones que dan cuenta de la manera en que las melodías y sonidos de la lengua forman parte integral del discurso y de la significación. Nuestro país cuenta con numerosos investigadores abocados a esta área y relacionados con investigadores de prestigiosas universidades extranjeras. En esta arena, en el año 2017, tuvimos el honor de ser anfitriones de decenas de estudiosos sobre el tema y de cientos de jóvenes ávidos de informarse sobre un campo de estudio tan sutil como apasionante. Este libro es fruto de una ardua tarea que muestra de qué manera la fonética y la fonología son aspectos ineludibles en la investigación y la enseñanza de las ciencias del lenguaje.
