Description: Das Beben ist von japanischer Seite bereits bearbeitet worden. Die Reproduktionen der an den deutschen und österreichischen Erdbebenwarten gewonnenen Aufzeichnungen dieses Bebens sollen die Möglichkeit eines Vergleichs der Registrierungen bieten. Die Instrumentalkonstanten sind so wiedergegeben, wie sie von den Erdbebenwarten mitgeteilt wurden. Die Bemerkungen über das Epizentralgebiet sind von Herrn Regierungsrat Dr. Krumbach nach den japanischen Veröffentlichungen zusammengestellt, ebenso hat derselbe die Einteilung der Seismogramme vorgenommen. Die mühevolle zeichnerische Reproduktion der Registrierungen erfolgte durch Frl. M. Töpfer. Die Abweichungen zwischen Originalregistrierung und Reproduktion dürften im Allgemeinen 0,1 mm nicht überschreiten.
