    Description: Izsledki raziskave slovenskega oblačilnega izrazja v Kanalski dolini, ki je v sodelovanju s Slovenskim kulturnim središčem Planika Kanalska dolina potekala v letih 2003–2007, so v monografiji urejeni v trijezični (slovensko-italijansko-nemški) konkordančni izrazijski slovar. Začetna, slovensko-italijanska razdelka vsebujeta prepis narečnega besedila Oblačila naših dedkov in babic glavne informantke Marie Moschitz, obogaten s slikovnim gradivom, in slovarski uvod s predstavitvijo raziskave, prikazom sestave gesel ter seznamom kratic in krajšav. Slovar v celoti temelji na prepisih posnetkov narečnih besedil, urejenih v podatkovno zbirko. Lažje iskanje po slovarju (tudi več- in drugojezičnim uporabnikom) omogočajo knjižnoslovensko-narečni, italijansko-slovenskonarečni in nemško-slovenskonarečni seznam.

    Description: The text-critical edition Turjaška knjiga listin II [Turjak Book of Charters II], containing 436 published documents from the 15th century, completes the medieval corpus of charters from the private archives of the Carniolan comital and ducal lines of the Auerspergs. Published in their entirety, the charters are equipped with Slovenian regests and followed in the end by a comprehensive index of names and pictures of seals from the charters.The Auerspergs [Turjaški] are among the rare noble families in the Slovenian territory with systematically preserved archives that date back to the Middle Ages. Most archival materials of the family, which was largely embedded in the framework of the Province of Carniola until the end of the 15th century, are presently kept in two private family archives: the Turjak Comital Fideicomiss Archives (Gräflich Auersperg'sches Fideikommisarchiv), first kept in the Turjak Castle until 1942 and now in the Carinthian Provincial Archives in Klagenfurt, and the Turjak Ducal Archives (Fürstlich Auersperg'sches Archiv), which were first moved to the Turjak Palace in Ljubljana and the Lower Austrian Lösensteinleiten Castle and finally ended up in the Viennese Haus-, Hof-, und Staatsarchiv.
    Description: Tekstno-kritična edicija s 436 objavljenimi dokumenti iz 15. stoletja zaključuje srednjeveški korpus listin iz zasebnih arhivov kranjske grofovske in knežje linije Turjaških (Auerspergov), ki so jih v sklopu grajskega arhiva do leta 1942 hranili na gradu Turjak, danes pa so shranjene izven slovenskega ozemlja. Listine so objavljene v celoti, opremljene so s slovenskimi regesti, ob koncu pa sledijo še obsežno imensko kazalo in slike pečatov z listin.

    Description: The present volume of proceedings represents the first Slovenian book uniting well-nigh all the humanistic disciplines in a common task: to reflect on the role of scholarly editions in their own field. Moreover, it is the first to reflect systematically on the methodological and ecdotic issues of scholarly editions in the light of the possibilities opening with the electronic presentation of texts. While some humanistic disciplines in Slovenia boast a long tradition of scholarly editions, reaching back to the first half of the 19th century, others have begun to consolidate their editorial standards fairly recently.
    Description: Zbornik o znanstvenih izdajah je prva knjižna publikacija na Slovenskem, namenjena premisleku o sistemskem mestu znanstvenih in kritičnih izdaj besedil v humanističnih vedah, njihovih metodoloških podlag in edicijskih načel.     Description: Kučar near Podzemelj represents one of the most significant archaeological sites not only in Slovenia but also in the wider southeastern alpine region. It is an extensive complex composed of an Iron Age and Late Roman settlement upon the hill Kučar, as well as numerous necropoli that are distributed throughout the villages of Podzemelj, Zemelj, Škrilje and Grm. The site is well-known all over the world for its elaborate material finds originating from the cemeteries there. The book presents the results from rescue excavations that were carried out between the years 1975 and 1979 on the northern top of Kučar by the Institute for Archaeology. Substantial remains of a settlement dating to the Early and Late Iron Ages (8th –1st centuries BC) were excavated, as well as the even more surprising discovery of an Early Christian building complex (5th century AD) incorporating two churches, a baptistery and a large building with an enclosing wall that was reinforced with two towers. This publication concerning the settlement on Kučar near Podzemelj is the third monograph regarding this site. The first two publications presented the material finds from the Iron Age necropolis, preserved at the National Museum in Ljubljana and at the Museum of Natural History in Vienna. This third publication includes a contribution by Metka Culiberg and Alojz Šercelj on the investigations of organic remains from Kučar.
    Description: Kučar pri Podzemlju je eno najpomembnejših arheoloških najdišč ne le v Sloveniji ampak tudi na širšem jugovzhodnoalpskem prostoru. Gre za obsežen kompleks, v katerega sodi železnodobno in poznoantično naselje na hribu Kučarju in številne nekropole, ki so raztresene okoli vasi Podzemelj, Zemelj, Škrilje in Grm. V svetu je postal znan predvsem zaradi bogatih najdb iz tamkajšnjih grobišč. V knjigi so predstavljeni rezultati zaščitnih raziskovanj, ki jih je med leti 1975 in 1979 na severnem vrhu Kučarja opravil Inštitut za arheologijo. Takrat so bili namreč izkopani bogati ostanki naselja iz starejše in mlajše železne dobe (8.–1. stoletje pred n. št.), še večje presenečenje pa je bilo odkritje zgodnjekrščanskega stavbnega kompleksa (5. stoletje po n. št.) z dvema cerkvama, baptisterijem, veliko stavbo in obzidjem, ki je bilo ojačano z dvema stolpoma.

    Description: The work is a critical edition of the preserved fragments of five notary codices from Piran (1289–1305) with notes made by the notary Dominicus Petenarius. Notaries entered into notary codices the essential features of business transactions in stenographic form, specific writing and simple Latin. This is a valuable type of sources for the study of medieval and later history. The entries portray the economic and social life of cities and their surroundings, their administration, judicial system, everyday life, population development, urban image, as well as culture and arts, all of which serve the purposes of research conducted by experts in various fields. The edition is equipped with a standard critical apparatus and an accompanying study which is also translated into English. The main part of the text encompasses the transliteration of the manuscript comprising 518 agreements with different contents. Each is marked with a successive number, defined with regard to its content and dated. The specific features of the original and inconsistencies in writing are described in notes. The work comes with an index of names, a subject index and a list of entries in which each entry is marked with the original annotation of the page in the original, date, type of contents, short summary of the contents and the page in the publication.
    Description: Piranska izpostava Pokrajinskega arhiva Koper hrani med svojim srednjeveškim gradivom 17 notarskih sešitkov in njih fragmentov. Fragmenti petih notarskih sešitkov, ki so predmet znanstvenokritične objave, vsebujejo kratke povzetke poslovnih dogovorov Pirančanov v poldrugem desetletju pred sedmimi stoletji. Zapisi so objektivni in zanesljivi, razkrivajo pa nekdanjo poslovno prakso od trgovskih družb, prek trgovanja na kredit, posojanja denarja, udinjanja pri delodajalcu, prodaje ali oddaje nepremičnin v zakup ipd.

    Description: How can we explain the large number of Good Friday processions that characterised Catholic Europe from the 16th to the 18th century? Jaša Drnovšek presents these early modern performances as eminently political phenomena that could only exist against the background of the Counter-Reformation and Catholic renewal. In doing so, he takes up Joachim Küpper's theory of cultural production, according to which culture can be seen as a virtual network. In his comparative cultural-historical study, Drnovšek takes an in-depth look at the history of the Capuchin and Jesuit orders, both of which contributed significantly to the rise of Good Friday processions. The Škofjeloški pasijon, the oldest Slovenian drama, whose revived performance tradition has been under UNESCO protection since 2016, plays here a special role.
    Description: Kako pojasniti veliko število procesij velikega petka, ki so med 16. in 18. stoletjem zaznamovale katoliško Evropo? Jaša Drnovšek prikaže te zgodnjenovoveške sprevode kot eminentno politične fenomene, ki so lahko obstajali le v kontekstu protireformacije in katoliške prenove. Pri tem se naveže na teorijo kulturne produkcije Joachima Küpperja, po kateri lahko kulturo razumemo kot virtualno omrežje. V svoji primerjalni kulturnozgodovinski raziskavi Drnovšek podrobno osvetli zgodovino kapucinskega in jezuitskega reda, ki sta pomembno prispevala k razmahu pasijonskih procesij. Posebno vlogo pri tem ima Škofjeloški pasijon, katerega ponovno oživljena tradicija uprizarjanja je od leta 2016 pod Unescovo zaščito.

    Description: Kompendij o glasbi (Compendium musicae), napisan leta 1618, je prvenec največjega francoskega filozofa Renéja Descartesa, ki je svojo filozofsko pot začel prav z razpravo o glasbi. Izhajajoč iz splošnih ugotovitev, nekakšnih aksiomov o zaznavanju in dojemanju, se Descartes loteva osnovnih glasbenih prvin, ritma in intervalov, pri čemer utemeljuje njihove značajske lastnosti v lastnostih njim ustreznih matematično izrazljivih razmerij. Na tej osnovi Descartes razloži oz. utemelji kompozicijsko strukturo glasbe. Descartesovo delo je predvsem glasbenoteoretsko, vendar se v njegovem pogledu na glasbo teoretično razpravljanje o njej po eni strani navezuje na akustična preračunavanja, po drugi pa vodi h glasbenoestetskim in glasbenopsihološkim sodbam. Descartesovo besedilo je strogo znanstveno – v smislu 17. stoletja –, hkrati pa bogato psiholoških ocen in opazk, ki pričajo o njegovi osebni izkušnji z glasbo.

    Description: The first Habsburg estates in Carniola were part of territorial acquisitions in eastern Alpine lands that the ascending dynasty obtained in the war with King Ottokar II of Bohemia towards the end of the thirteenth century and then gradually expanded. Even though the Habsburg dynastic territory had by the 1380s covered almost the entire Carniola, the economic base (landed property, which provided the provincial prince with regular income) was considerably limited. A sizeable portion of the territory was burdened by fiefs and pledges. The redemption of one of the vastest sets of pledged estates in the mid-1430s led to the emergence of account books for the following Carniolan fiscal properties: Kamnik, Gamberk, Goričane, Ig, Višnja Gora, Štatenberk, Novo mesto, Kostanjevica with offices Raka and Vivodina, Pazin, Završje, and Vranja. The account books serve as an extraordinary source for the economic history of the late Middle Ages, by also reflecting the turbulent period of the Habsburg European-wide ascendancy and Frederick’s war with the Counts of Celje. The volume constitutes a critical edition of the account books, with the accompanying discussion in the field of property, administrative and political history.
    Description: Zametki habsburške posesti na Kranjskem sodijo v sklop ozemeljskih pridobitev v vzhodnoalpskih deželah, ki jih je vzpenjajoča se dinastija iztržila iz bojev s češkim kraljem Otokarjem II. Přemyslom proti koncu 13. stoletja in so jih kasneje še razširili. Čeprav je v okvir habsburškega dinastičnega teritorija že v osemdesetih letih 14. stoletja spadal večji del kranjskega ozemlja, pa je bil gospodarski temelj (posest, ki je prinašala dohodke) bistveno manjši. Dobršen del ozemlja so bremenili fevdi in zastave. Ob sprostitvi enega od obsežnejših sklopov zastavljene posesti sredi tridesetih let 15. stoletja so nastali obračuni kranjskih komornih gospostev, in sicer za gospostva: Kamnik, Gamberk, Goričane, Ig, Višnja Gora, Štatenberk, Novo mesto, Kostanjevica z uradoma Raka in Vivodina, Pazin, Završje in Vranja. Obračuni predstavljajo izjemen vir za gospodarsko zgodovino poznega srednjega veka, obenem pa se v njih zrcali razgibano obdobje habsburškega evropskega vzpona in Friderikove vojne s celjskimi grofi. Knjiga prinaša tekstnokritično edicijo obračunov s spremljajočo uvodno razpravo s področja posestne, upravne in politične zgodovine.

    Description: Neznano in pozabljeno iz 18. stoletja na Slovenskem [The Unknown and Forgotten from the 18th-Century Slovenian Territory] is the first monograph written by the Slovenian Society of 18th Century Studies and presents the less known phenomena and aspects of the 18th-century Slovenian territory. The monograph was compiled by twenty-three Slovenian and international authors whose contributions discuss numerous areas spanning general, cultural, music, art and literary history. It is divided into several chapters. The introduction, containing the presentation of the Slovenian provinces in the 18th century, serves as the basic starting point and is followed by chapters “Pravna, upravna in cerkvena zgodovina” [“Legal, Administrative and Ecclesiastical History”], “Umetnost in obrt” [“Art and Crafts”], “Kulturna in socialna zgodovina” [“Cultural and Social History”] and “Jezikoslovje” [“Linguistics”]. The monograph, which was published in digital form, is also distinguished by rich pictorial content.
    Description: Neznano in pozabljeno iz 18. stoletja na Slovenskem je prva monografija Slovenskega društva za preučevanje 18. stoletja. V njej so predstavljeni manj znani pojavi in vidiki 18. stoletja na Slovenskem. Pri nastanku monografije je sodelovalo 23 slovenskih in tujih avtorjev, ki so s prispevki posegli na številna področja, od obče in kulturne do glasbene, umetnostne in literarne zgodovine. Monografija je razdeljena na več poglavij. Uvodu, v katerem so kot splošno izhodišče predstavljene slovenske dežele v 18. stoletju, sledijo še poglavja Pravna, upravna in cerkvena zgodovina, Umetnost in obrt, Kulturna in socialna zgodovina ter Jezikoslovje. Monografijo, ki je izšla v elektronski obliki, odlikuje tudi bogato slikovno gradivo.
