    Gewalt und Dissoziation in der neueren deutsch- und russischsprachigen Lyrik (2024)

    Description: Die Arbeit widmet sich dem Zusammenhang zwischen den Phänomenen Gewalt und Dissoziation, der in der Lyrik nach 1989 vermehrt reflektiert wird. Den Gegenstand der Untersuchung bilden russisch- und deutschsprachige Gedichte, die in vier thematischen Konstellationen einander gegenübergestellt werden. Dabei zeigt sich, dass die Relation zwischen Gewalt und Dissoziation in Form von Wechselbeziehungen gestaltet wird, die ihrerseits die Etablierung verborgener Gewaltstrukturen ursächlich bedingen. Behandelt werden Texte der LyrikerInnen Sergej Stratanovskij, Ulrike Draesner, Slava Mogutin, Ann Cotten, Durs Grünbein, Elena Fanajlova, Friederike Mayröcker und Aleksandr Skidan.

    Description: Für gehörlose Lernende stellt das Schreiben eine doppelte Herausforderung dar: Gebärdensprachen verfügen über keine Gebrauchsschrift, weshalb gehörlose Schreiber/-innen die Schrift der umgebenden Lautsprache verwenden. Diese unterscheidet sich jedoch in struktureller Hinsicht grundlegend von der Gebärdensprache, was dazu führt, dass der Schriftspracherwerb in vielen Bereichen dem Erwerb einer Zweitsprache gleicht. Schriftliche Textproduktionen gehörloser Signer (=Gebärdenspachbenutzer/-innen) sind deshalb aus unterschiedlichen Perspektiven von Bedeutung: Aus Sicht der Mehrsprachigkeitsforschung bieten sie einen Einblick in Prozesse des bimodal bilingualen Spracherwerbs, bei dem eine Laut- und eine Gebärdensprache involviert sind. Aus sprachdidaktischer Perspektive stellt sich in der Folge die Frage zur erfolgreichen Vermittlung schriftsprachlicher Kompetenzen für gehörlose Schüler/-innen. Zwar ist bekannt, dass medizinische und alltagsweltliche Konzepte von Normalität divergieren können – doch: Was bedeutet das für die Kommunikation in der medizinischen Praxis? Wie, in welchen Kontexten und zu welchen Zwecken greifen z.B. Ärzt:innen und Patient:innen auf interaktive ‚Praktiken des Normalisierens‘ zurück? Im Zuge der Auseinandersetzung mit der kommunikativen Konstruktion von Normalitäten auf der Grundlage empirischer Analysen authentischer Gespräche liefern die hier versammelten Beiträge interaktionslinguistische Erkenntnisse u.a. zur interaktiven Positionierung im Gespräch, zur Interaktionalen Semantik sowie zur interaktional ausgerichteten Konstruktionsgrammatik. Auch zeigen sie konzeptuelle und methodische Verknüpfungen zu Fragen der Medizin und der qualitativen Sozialforschung auf. Dieses soll durch die teils öffentliche Finanzierung voraussichtlich mit Steuermitteln aufgefangen werden. Es beginnt eine breite Debatte in der sich Personen aus Politik, Kulturbetrieb und Öffentlichkeit in Interviews, Petitionen oder Leserkommentaren beteiligen und in der es um den Einsatz von Steuern, die Verantwortung von Kulturinstitutionen und die künstlerische Freiheit geht. Die Untersuchung nimmt digitale multimodalen Texte, die darin verwendeten Metaphern, intertextuellen Geflechte und die beteiligten Akteure in den Blick und rekonstruiert nicht nur die Debatte der documenta 14, sondern widmet sich darüber hinaus dem strittigen Verhältnis von Kunst und Ökonomie und wie dieses unser aktuelles Kulturfördersystem beeinflusst.     Description: Wie konnten Abwesende politische Prozesse im Venedig der Renaissance beeinflussen? Wie wurden entsprechende Praktiken tradiert? Antworten auf diese Fragen gibt die Briefsammlung des Amtsträgers Ludovico Foscarini (1409–1480). Seine Briefe entstanden als Reaktion auf ein Dilemma: Nur als Statthalter und Gesandter konnte Foscarini in der Konkurrenz mit anderen venezianischen Adeligen bestehen. In der Peripherie war er aber von den Verteilungswettkämpfen abgeschnitten, die in der Zentrale in geheimen Abstimmungen abliefen. Kunstvolle Briefe an andere Politiker und politisch einflussreiche Intellektuelle sollten das Problem lösen. Diese Briefe nutzten humanistische, juristische und theologische Metaphern, um Themen anzusprechen, die außerhalb der offiziellen Gremien tabu waren. Foscarini legte eine didaktisch aufgebaute Briefsammlung mit den wirksamsten seiner Briefe an –　ein Erfahrungsschatz, den er seinen Söhnen für ihre politischen Laufbahnen hinterließ. Die Publikation kontextualisiert in einer interdisziplinär angelegten Analyse die Einzelbriefe anhand von gelehrten Textvorlagen und Wissensbeständen sowie Archivmaterial.     Description: Elocution and speech training are among the core areas of speech science in research, teaching and practice. The volume Voice – Speech – Theater. Sprechwissenschaft im Dialog offers an update on the current scientific and practical cooperation between university speech science and schools as well as colleges of drama and music. In the transdisciplinary exchange between research and practice, the focus is on the discussion of proven and new approaches to theory and methodology as well as on the current requirements of artistic practice. Specifically, the focus will be on special aspects of gestural communication and choral speaking, laughing and crying on stage, artificial voices and "theatricality" in the art of speaking. In addition, topics such as text learning and voice disorders, which are always present in the acting profession, are also discussed. An overview of relevant research work at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg rounds off the volume.

    Description: This book addresses the question of vigilance in the face of an epidemic at the beginning of the 18th century, based on the example of the fight against the plague in the French Mediterranean. Because of its trans-Mediterranean trade, this region was particularly exposed to the risk of plague so that it sought to protect itself with concrete measures such as quarantine. ; Cet ouvrage s’intéresse au risque et à la vigilance face à la peste sur la côte méditerranéenne française dans la première moitié du 18e siècle. Entre 1720 et 1722, une terrible épidémie de peste frappe Marseille, la Provence, le Comtat-Venaissin et une partie du Languedoc, causant environ 100'000 décès. Aussi dramatique soit-elle, cette épidémie constitue une exception durant la première moitié du 18e siècle. La première partie de ce travail analyse les rapports entre vigilance, espace et communication et met en évidence une prévention qui s’exerce tant de manière transméditerranéenne que de manière interne au royaume de France. Une véritable «bureaucratie sanitaire» se met en place. La deuxième partie étudie les normes et les pratiques de la vigilance sanitaire, tant sur un plan politico-sanitaire (quarantaines des navires, des passagers et des marchandises) que sur un plan religieux (processions et prières pour endiguer la maladie). Enfin, la dernière partie se limite à la peste de 1720-1722 et illustre le passage d’une vigilance préventive à une vigilance réactive en s’intéressant aux «acteurs de la peste» et aux attitudes et tactiques développées face au fléau épidémique.

    Description: The co-operation between municipalities and civil society actors and their independent impulses for urban development are discussed under the terms of co-production and city-making. This article summarises these activities as co-productive city-making (koSM). Forms of as well as advantages and disadvantages of koSM have been discussed in research and practice so far, but analyses of the longitudinal genesis of these activities and their significance for the development of a specific area are rare. This article uses the longitudinally collected, mixed-method data of a constellation analysis of the development of the Mirke neighbourhood in Wuppertal/Germany. Based on four points in time, the dynamics as well as the spatial development of the koSM can be presented - individually and in comparison to other developments. It can be seen that the koSM in the Mirke has grown at an above-average and dynamic rate and can accordingly be interpreted as a motor of neighbourhood development. Main actors and locations are identified. The study is the basis for a follow-up work analysing the reasons and structural effects of the koSM. The koSM is discussed both in its interrelations with municipal action and in its significance for integrated and sustainable urban development. The method of constellation analysis is critically discussed with regard to the relationship between effort and benefit.

Cet ouvrage veut contribuer à la connaissance, encore trop peu développée en France, de cette romancière, par le biais d’une figure littéraire qui entretient un rapport fort à la littérature en général et au romantisme en particulier. Il s’agira d’étudier les modalités de la représentation du baiser dans les sept romans que Mary Shelley produisit entre 1818 et 1837. Figure de la rencontre de deux subjectivités, le baiser se décline sur un mode sensible, mythique et philosophique chez la romancière. Au terme de ce parcours, c’est une figure bien particulière de l’écrivain qui sera (re)découverte.

Cet ouvrage, cependant, ne se substitue pas à une grammaire historique. Il ne traite qu’un nombre limité de questions de morphosyntaxe espagnole – choisies parmi celles qu’un hispaniste a le plus de chances de devoir aborder dans le commentaire linguistique d’un texte ancien – et il vise avant tout à illustrer une certaine façon de décrire une langue. Par delà l’étude de quelques cas de motivation du signe linguistique, il vise à montrer ce que peut être une grammaire de l’espagnol lorsqu’on choisit d’accorder aux signifiants de cette langue une attention prioritaire.

    Description: Rouen, Brest, Limoges, Aix-en-Provence, Toulouse..., c’est à une fuite vers le sud, une fuite en zigzag, que faisait penser récemment la carte des universités françaises dans lesquelles la recherche en linguistique hispanique avait donné lieu à des rencontres entre spécialistes. Contourné – évité ? – par l’ouest, Paris ne semblait pas avoir de place sur cette carte, il n’en va plus de même depuis les 8, 7 et 10 février 1996, c’est-à-dire depuis que s’est tenu à la Sorbonne le VIIe Colloque de Linguistique Hispanique. Venus pour l’occasion de presque toutes les universités françaises mais aussi de Belgique, d’Espagne et de Pologne, de nombreux chercheurs ont confronté leurs points de vue durant trois jours et ont apporté leur contribution à la connaissance des langues de la Péninsule ibérique. Ce sont ces points de vue que rassemble le présent volume. Ils éclairent certaines particularités – diachroniques ou synchroniques – du castillan, du portugais, du catalan et du galicien. Ils permettent de mieux comprendre ce que sont les structures phonétique, phonologique, morphologique, syntaxique, lexicologique et sémantique de ces langues. Ils illustrent les principales méthodes d’analyse que l’on emploie aujourd’hui dans les sciences du langage. Ils permettent en somme de prendre la mesure des progrès réalisés dans un domaine où le savoir est exploité non seulement à des fins pédagogiques – l’enseignement des langues – mais aussi – et de plus en plus – à des fins industrielles (il nourrit de nos jours les « industries » de ta langue).

    Description: La LSF est la langue gestuelle parlée par les Sourds de France. Longtemps interdite, elle a été reconnue en France en 2005, un CAPES de LSF a été créé en 2010, elle est enseignée de l’école primaire à l’université. La LSF – comme toutes les langues gestuelles du monde – obéit aux lois de la gestualité : imiter le réel (ce que l’on nomme « iconicité ») et inscrire son corps dans l’espace (ce que l’on nomme « spatialité »).     Description: This book looks at the Hispanic monarchy in America through its ability to territorialize the spaces theoretically under its control. While the analysis confirms the central role played by the city, its novelty lies in the effort made to spatialize and contextualize the notions of territorialization and circulation. The Spanish Empire appears as an atomized urban archipelago, favoring the affirmation of original idiosyncratic poles captured through the polysemy of the term “caste”, often reduced to the global concept of “race” by historiography. On the contrary, this book demonstrates the importance of specific forms of experience in defining belonging, while highlighting the social construction of spaces revealed by the circulation of the idea of “caste”.

Cet engagement ouvre aux femmes des voies pour s’affirmer hors de la famille, dans l’espace public et le monde du travail. Infirmières ou pharmaciennes, responsables de services d’hôpitaux et d’hospices, ou gardes-malades à domicile, ce sont les « bonnes » sœurs du xixe siècle. Figures de la charité, elles sont aussi les chevilles ouvrières du système public de santé dont elles accompagnent la médicalisation. Dans une société confrontée à une nouvelle pauvreté massive et alors que l’Église catholique s’inquiète de la déchristianisation populaire, les sœurs soignantes répondent aux attentes sociales et sanitaires, religieuses et morales de leur temps. La laïcisation républicaine signe-t-elle leur disparition ? Rien n’est moins sûr à en regarder leur présence dans Paris au début du xxe siècle. S’appuyant sur de nombreuses archives des couvents et des institutions hospitalières, cette enquête questionne la vocation des sœurs soignantes dans leur quotidien auprès des pauvres de la capitale. Elle propose une histoire du care qui éclaire les enjeux profanes et spirituels de la relation de soin.

Le bocage a perdu le lien qu'il avait depuis son origine avec l'activité agricole : il reste une composante du paysage rural mais il n'est plus le cadre nécessaire du travail des agriculteurs. C'est la modification la plus importante qu'il ait connu depuis sa création. Le bocage n'est pas un milieu naturel : c'est un paysage construit ; il n'est pas là de toute éternité, mais il a été fabriqué et entretenu par des générations d'agriculteurs qui avaient besoin de haies pour pratiquer à la fois la culture et le pâturage. L'objet de l'ouvrage d'Annie Antoine est de porter un regard d'historien sur le paysage bocager de l'Ouest de la France : explorer les liens forts et durables tissés entre un paysage et ses habitants, lier la construction du bocage et ses transformations à l'évolution des sociétés rurales qui, de la fin du Moyen Âge aux mutations agricoles contemporaines, l'ont utilisé et transformé.

    Description: Sprachliche und kommunikative Kompetenz ist, wenn auch mit unterschiedlichen Schwerpunkten, eines von vielen Lernzielen für Lernende in allen Bildungseinrichtungen von der Kindertageseinrichtung bis zur Universität. Gefordert wird unter anderem die Produktion von komplexen Diskurseinheiten auf bildungssprachlichem Niveau. Bildungssprache soll in diesem Zusammenhang als ein detaillierter, kontextentbundener verständlicher sowie begrifflich präziser (Morek und Heller 2012, S. 68). Sprachgebrauch mit dem übergeordneten Merkmal der Explizitheit (Feilke 2012) verstanden werden. Das Sprechen kann dabei unter anderem als Werkzeug der Wissensvermittlung (kommunikativ) und des Denkens (epistemisch) fungieren (Morek und Heller 2012). Wie bildungssprachliche Fähigkeiten vermittelt werden können, ist allerdings noch nicht abschließend geklärt (Feilke 2012). Hinzu kommt, dass sich zumindest bezüglich des mündlichen Sprachgebrauchs in Lehr- und Lernkontexten häufig wenig Gelegenheit zum Einüben längerer Redebeiträge bietet. Die Kommunikation über Texte erscheint hierfür schon aufgrund der Annahme geeignet, dass Texte eigentlich erst während der Rezeption von den Rezipient*innen konstruiert werden. Wir gehen mit Hausendorf et al. 2017 davon aus, dass Texte Lesbarkeitshinweise bereitstellen, die von den Rezipient*innen zur Konstruktion ihrer eigenen mentalen Modelle genutzt werden. Diese können als Ausgangspunkt für Gespräche mit längeren Redebeiträgen (epistemische Funktion) verwendet werden, in denen Bedeutungen immer wieder ausgehandelt werden (kommunikative Funktion). Solche Aushandlungen sind zwangsläufig kontextentbunden und fordern auch einen gewissen Grad an sprachlicher Explizitheit. Eine Möglichkeit ist die Verwendung literarischer Texte als Gesprächsanlass. Im Sinne eines erweiterten Textbegriffs (vgl. Staiger 2007) sollen darunter Texte in allen Medien verstanden werden, wie z. B. Bilderbücher, Computerspiele, Comics, Gedichte oder Filme. Die Offenheit literarischer Texte ermöglicht es, dass sie auf stets variierende Art interpretiert und verstanden werden können (vgl. Charlton und Sutter 2007). Dies entlastet die Interaktant*innen davon, eine „richtige Antwort“ geben zu müssen. In Anschluss- oder Begleitkommunikationen wie z.B. in Vorlesegesprächen (vgl. u.a. Wieler 1997, Spinner 2004, Gressnich et al. 2015) sind unterschiedliche Sichtweisen auf die Texte sogar ein erwünschter Effekt, der es auch Rezipient*innen mit sehr unterschiedlichen Wissensständen ermöglicht, sich über die Texte auszutauschen. Außerdem können die am Gespräch Teilnehmenden insofern voneinander lernen, als dass sie die unterschiedlichen Sichtweisen auf den Text nachvollziehen. Auch von der eigenen Deutung abweichende Äußerungen bergen ein großes Potenzial, weil sie dazu veranlassen, die eigene Haltung zum Text zu reflektieren, sie argumentierend zu verteidigen oder zu modifizieren (vgl. u.a. Spinner 2010, Preußer 2017, Heizmann 2019). Im vorliegenden Sammelband werden in elf Beiträgen unterschiedliche Perspektiven und verschiedene Erhebungs- und Auswertungskontexte, unter denen Gespräche über literarische Texte aktuell betrachtet werden, vorgestellt.

This book tells for the first time the history of the study of language contact up to the threshold of the 20th century and shows how critical-historiographical studies can help to classify and advance current debates (e.g. in creole studies).

Cet ouvrage réunit seize contributions relatives à l’émergence de ce champ de recherche. Descriptions, récits et portraits mettent en relief la pluridisciplinarité de la phonétique expérimentale. Au fil de l’ouvrage, sont successivement abordés le contexte scientifique ayant permis le développement de cette discipline ; les premières expérimentations à Paris et à Grenoble ; les développements internationaux en Russie, Italie et Allemagne ; des champs d’étude et d’application de la phonétique expérimentale et enfin une illustration des méthodes et de l’appareillage d’analyse du début du xxe siècle à nos jours. L’ouvrage constitue par ailleurs un hommage à Théodore Rosset, fondateur de l’Institut de phonétique de Grenoble, premier institut universitaire de phonétique de France et à John Ohala (University of California, Berkeley) l’un des grands noms de la phonétique expérimentale contemporaine, très attaché au domaine de l’histoire des sciences phonétiques.

Gegner der Hexenverfolgungen und Kritiker einiger Aufsehen erregender Fälle von Exorzismus führten philosophische, namentlich cartesianische, und theologische Argumente ins Feld; bei der Exegese der einschlägigen Bibelstellen wandten sie das Akkomodationsprinzip und neue kritisch-filologische Methoden an. Sie beriefen sich fast allesamt auf den niederländischen Pastor Balthasar Bekker (1634–1698), der mit seiner Betoverde Weereld (1691–1693) dem Aberglauben ein Ende setzen und die Aufklärung im Protestantismus als eine „zweite Reformation“ vorantreiben wollte. Die zahlreichen deutschen Reaktionen auf Bekker in den Jahren zwischen der ersten (1693) und der zweiten (1781–82) Verdeutschung seiner Schrift werden in der vorliegenden Arbeit erstmals detailliert analysiert, um so seinen Einfluss auf das deutsche Geistesleben sowie seine gesellschaftliche Wirkung dort zu rekonstruieren. An Bekker lässt sich zudem aufzeigen, wie nachhaltig die Niederlande im Einzelnen auf die deutsche Aufklärung einwirkten.

Global history of the Collège de France, 19th-20th century”. This research program and the series associated with it examines the genesis of scientific and literary fields of knowledge, their mapping and their evolution during the 19th and 20th centuries, on both national and international levels, from the standpoint afforded by the history of the renewal of academic chairs at the Collège de France. “Dieu” is, to be sure, not a new 19th discipline, or a “founder of discursivity”, as Foucault called the scholars who had invented not only new discourses, but, more broadly, discursive continents, new “épistemes”. God is certainly an ancient “inventor of discursivity” and the discursive continent that he has launched is considerably more diffuse than those which come from Freud, Darwin, Einstein or Durkheim, which were the object of preceding symposia, and, for the first three ones, of the first three volumes of the series. Yet, it seemed to us possible to examine, in collaboration with Thomas Römer, holder of the chair The Hebrew Bible and its Contexts, the science of God and how the Collège de France, at different times of its history, and through this institution, the university, higher education in general, the life of ideas, made way for the sciences of religion.

Quelles sont les différences observables dans le comportement langagier des humains lorsqu’ils se croient face à une machine et qu’ils subissent ses contraintes de compréhension ? Y a-t-il simplification et appauvrissement de leur langage face à un partenaire qu’ils considèrent comme "restreint" ? Existe-t-il des structures fondamentales inhérentes au dialogue finalisé, qui subsistent en toute situation. Autant de questions auxquelles les études linguistiques présentées ici tentent d’apporter une réponse, en se fondant sur un corpus recueilli en situation réelle, au Centre d’information et d’Orientation de l’Université de Paris V.

Halt an einem Menschen gefunden, der ihn über sieben Jahre in allen innen- und außenpolitischen Fragen beriet und lenkte: Carl Wilhelm Saegert, Leiter der Taubstummenanstalt in Berlin und seit 1853 Inspektor des preußischen Taubstummenwesens. Als sich die Verhältnisse in Berlin nach der Revolution konsolidierten, war es für Saegert unmöglich, wegen seiner fehlenden Ausbildung und seiner bürgerlichen Herkunft in der Führungshierarchie anerkannt zu werden. Der König verließ sich aber weiterhin auf ihn nahezu blindlings, und Saegert mußte die undankbare Rolle des geheimen Beraters spielen, der nur durch die Bediententür Zugang zum König fand. – Die Edition bringt eine Auswahl der politisch relevanten Teile der Korrespondenz für die Jahre 1848–1856. Die Korrespondenz wird ergänzt durch das ungekürzte Tagebuch Saegerts für die Revolutionsmonate März bis November 1848.

    Description: L’œuvre écrite de ʿAbd al-Raʾūf al-Munāwī (m. 1622) est l’une des plus riches et des plus importantes du xie/xviie siècle en langue arabe. Il s’intéressa à toutes les sciences islamiques de son époque. À ce titre, il incarne parfaitement l’idéal d’encyclopédisme et de polygraphie que l’Égypte ottomane a hérité de son époque mamelouke. Tout en étant l’héritier de nombreux savants marqués par le soufisme, al-Munāwī a su proposer des vues en nette rupture avec le consensus. Ce faisant, il est amené à tenter une réhabilitation d’Ibn Sīnā et d’Abū al-ʿAbbās al-Būnī. Les écrits d’al-Munāwī constituent une excellente illustration de la convergence du soufisme et du Hadith qui fut amorcée durant la période mamelouke et s’amplifia au début de l’époque ottomane. Reprenant la tradition de l’herméneutique soufie du Hadith, al-Munāwī l’enrichit d’apports importants comme ceux d’al-Ġazālī et d’Ibn ʿArabī. Il donne ainsi à cette tradition une ampleur rarement égalée.

Breckling lehnte sich gegen festgefahrene gesellschaftliche Strukturen auf und wollte seine Ansichten über ein neues Menschen- und Weltbild nach Deutschland transferieren. Er wollte durch eine Reform des Menschen nicht weniger als ein ‚Paradies auf Erden‘ verbreiten. Es sollte seiner Meinung nach jedem möglich sein, seine Auffassungen auf einem offenen religiösen Marktplatz darzubieten. Dadurch half er den „Halleschen Pietismus“ mit vorzubereiten. Sein Leben und Wirken, seine Motivation und Ideen werden in einem niederländischen und einem deutschen Kontext eingeordnet. Außerdem werden die symbolischen „Netze der Bedeutung“, in denen er eingebunden war, einer näheren Untersuchung unterzogen. Die Arbeit versucht zu zeigen, dass es eine Verbindung zwischen Breckling und der niederländischen Frühaufklärung gegeben hat.

    Description: Le xxie siècle est celui de l’information, de la communication et de l’échange. Mais sait-on réellement ce qu’est un échange langagier ? Cet essai propose d’étudier en détail les différentes dimensions du dialogue, qu’il soit discussion savante ou conversation prosaïque. Dans sa dimension pragmatique, la pratique dialogique se présente comme une activité conjointe, imprévisible et créatrice qui suppose notamment un décodage des informations fournies par le contexte au moyen de divers modes d’inférence (déductif, inductif, abductif, analogique). Toutefois, ce premier niveau s’avère tributaire d’un second, praxéologique, où se jouent les relations intersubjectives des partenaires ainsi que les enjeux et finalités transactionnelles qu’ils s’assignent conjointement dans le monde qu’ils construisent ensemble. Ce renversement praxéologique est illustré par l’analyse de la fable Le Corbeau et le Renard. Les conséquences idéologiques en sont établies sur le cas de la prétendue « éthique de la discussion » de Jürgen Habermas et sur celui de la « révolution nanotechnologique ».

Alors que l’échec des révolutions de 1848 est général, Arnold Ruge, hégélien de gauche et député au Parlement de Francfort, exprime l’espoir d’une « seconde révolution » plus radicale que la première, celle de mars 1848, et qui fonderait une république sociale et démocratique. La formule est du socialiste français Louis Blanc, avec qui Ruge, avant sa rupture avec Marx, fut en contact à Paris en 1843-1844. Opposé au despotisme ancien, au libéralisme bourgeois et au communisme et anticipant, en citant Proudhon, sur les projets autogestionnaires du xxe siècle, Ruge propose la suppression du salariat et un coopératisme généralisé avec maintien d’un État régulateur.

Die vorliegende Studie versucht erstmals, anhand des Nachlebens des enthaupteten Grafen Lamoraal von Egmont (1522–1568), der Frage nachzugehen, warum und wie eine historische Gestalt zu einer mythischen Figur avancieren konnte. Was machte ihn unsterblich? Wie und wieso erreichte der Name Egmont ein durch die Jahrhunderte hindurch vom Mittelmeerraum bis in die DDR nachhallendes Echo? Ce matériel est aussi à l’origine de nouvelles orientations de la description linguistique qui ont déjà suscité de nouvelles méthodes de travail et des théorisations intéressantes (recherches sur les « genres », calculs des collocations, relations graduées entre grammaire et lexique, analyse automatique, etc.). Et, ces courants ne peuvent que se développer dans les prochaines années. L’ouvrage a pour objectif de présenter un large panorama des différents problèmes théoriques, méthodologiques et techniques que posent l’organisation et l’exploitation d’un corpus. À cet effet, il traite successivement de quatre aspects : les types de corpus, le traitement informatique, la diversité des domaines d’applications, les genres et typologie des textes. Il se termine par la présentation de quelques analyses dans le domaine syntaxique, prosodique et lexical. Ce livre est le résultat d’un colloque international qui s’est tenu à l’Université de Perpignan et qui avait pour thème « Questions de méthode dans la linguistique sur corpus » (7–9 mai 1998).

Anhand von zahlreichen Quellen aus deutschen und französischen Archiven werden die in Frankreich liegenden Voraussetzungen dieser Reisen, die sozialen Modalitäten und schließlich das französische Wirken am Hof und in der Stadt betrachtet. Dadurch entsteht ein facettenreiches, akteurszentriertes Bild des französisch-sächsischen Kulturtransfers.

Il en résulte un portrait centré sur les acteurs et à multiples facettes du transfert culturel franco-saxon.
    Description: In the Augustan era (1694–1763), the Saxon residence city of Dresden developed into a cultural centre of the Holy Roman Empire. New networks and trade routes set knowledge transfers in motion, with connections to France taking on a prominent role. This study therefore focuses on the large number of French people who came to the Saxon capital for short or long periods of time. The study includes an examination of the French prerequisites of these journeys, the social modalities and finally the French activities at court and in the city based on numerous sources from German and French archives. In this way, Christian Gründig draws a multifaceted, actor-centred picture of Franco-Saxon cultural transfer.

    Description: La Ḥāfiẓiyya est une confrérie soufie de taille modeste, installée dans le sud du gouvernorat de Giza depuis le xixe siècle. Cette petite confrérie, affiliée à la Ḫalwatiyya, confrérie plus ancienne et aujourd’hui l’une des plus importantes d’Égypte, contribue à l’organisation de la vie religieuse locale par ses pèlerinages et ses rassemblements. La famille de son cheikh fondateur, ʿAbd al-Ḥāfiẓ (m. 1303/1886), dirige toujours la confrérie et a acquis une notabilité locale, au point d’exercer des fonctions politiques et d’arbitrage importantes. Une étude de terrain a permis de montrer l’ancrage d’une mémoire collective dans des pratiques confrériques héritées de l’enseignement du cheikh et ses descendants, se réclamant elles-mêmes de la tradition de la Ḫalwatiyya. Un manuel de soufisme, la Hidāyat al-rāġibīn fī al-sayr wa-l-sulūk ilā malik al-mulūk rabb al-ʿālamīn [La Bonne direction pour ceux qui désirent cheminer vers le Roi des rois Seigneur des mondes], assume ce rôle de transmission écrite ; l’étude de la tradition orale révèle quant à elle le travail de la mémoire et la formation d’une identité confrérique locale et originale. Faire l’histoire de la Ḥāfiẓiyya conduit à évoquer l’histoire sociale des campagnes égyptiennes et à comprendre comment s’articule l’identité locale d’une modeste confrérie de Moyenne-Égypte avec une tradition confrérique plus large et pluriséculaire.

So, Greece came to Paris, a place where a new generation of artists got a chance to show their work, where Greek architects made a name for themselves, often starting off with a job in Le Corbusier’s studio, and where Greek literature was translated into French like never before. However, this was a journey in both directions, and France also went to Greece, where French ideas flourished, in art, literature and philosophy. The names of the people who undertook this journey back and forth, from one shore of the Mediterranean to the other, include Candilis, Dubuisson, Xenakis, Restany, Kessanlis, Aragon, Ritsos, Éluard, Kazantzakis, Sartre, Vassilikos, Milliex and many others.

    Description: Au milieu du XIXe siècle, l’unification de l’Italie autour du royaume de Piémont-Sardaigne conduit à la disparition des États pontificaux. Cet événement a des répercussions dans toute l’Europe, et notamment en France. Le soutien apporté par Napoléon III à la cause italienne pousse en effet les catholiques, inquiets du sort du pape, à se détacher du régime impérial. Cet ouvrage met en lumière la mobilisation massive des catholiques français en faveur de la papauté au cours des années 1860 et montre comment le Saint-Siège a cherché à en tirer profit pour faire face aux difficultés causées par l’effondrement de son pouvoir temporel. À ce titre, une attention particulière est accordée aux aspects militaires (engagement au sein des zouaves pontificaux) et financiers (dons au denier de Saint-Pierre) du mouvement. L’ampleur de ce soutien et la diversité des formes qu’il prend montrent que, à rebours de certaines idées reçues, le XIXe siècle constitue pour la papauté et l’Église bien moins une période de déclin qu’un moment d’élaboration de nouveaux moyens d’action destinés à perpétuer leur influence.

    Description: Dem niederländischen Regierungssitz Den Haag kam durch die weit ausgreifende Politik der Republik zwischen den westfälischen Friedensschlüssen und den ersten beiden Jahrzehnten des 18. Jahrhunderts eine Schlüsselstellung im europäischen Gesandtschaftswesen zu. In den Kriegen, die auf die Epochenwende 1648 und 1659/60 folgten, wurde nicht mehr wie in den vorhergehenden Religionskriegen um die Existenz gerungen, sondern um die Aufrechterhaltung oder Wiederherstellung einer gedachten Machtbalance. Daraus erwuchs den Gesandten eine neue Aufgabenfülle und politische Rolle. Das blieb nicht ohne Wirkung auf die Gesandten, die Veränderungen nicht nur ertrugen, sondern zunehmend selbst gestaltend eingriffen. Diese dynamischen Prozesse in der Arbeitsweise von Gesandten dreier Höfe am niederländischen Regierungssitz Den Haag stehen im Mittelpunkt der vorliegenden Arbeit. Indem aufgearbeitet wird, wie Den Haag von einem Treffpunkt von Gesandten zum Brennpunkt europäischer Diplomatie wurde, möchte die vorliegende Studie einen Beitrag zur Geschichte des Gesandtschaftswesens im frühneuzeitlichen Europa leisten.
