    Description: En Resistir al neoliberalismo. Comunidades y autonomías Pilar Calveiro no se centra en las características del neoliberalismo sino, como su nombre lo indica, en la posibilidad y la potencia de las resistencias comunitarias. Para ello retoma la discusión sobre los rasgos violentos y autoritarios del neoliberalis mo, desarrollados en textos anteriores, enfatizando ahora en la conformación de redes de poder que rebasan al aparato estatal. Ello obliga a desplazar el foco de análisis, del Estado y sus responsabilidades directas o indirectas, a la gubernamentalidad neoliberal, como una trama más densa y compleja. Se trata de observar la articulación de las redes de poder legal/ilegales y público/privadas que, en el neoliberalismo, ejecutan diversas violencias orientadas a desarrollar verdaderas políticas del miedo.

    Description: During the 1920s and 1930s the wordless novel – stories told in black-and-white wordless woodcuts – was established as a narrative genre. The genre was most popular in Germany, but was as well known in other parts of Europé and in the US. The wordless novel was characterized by the absence of words, the use of woodcut and other relief printing techniques, as well as themes of social critique and serious existential issues. The purpose of the book is to - through the wordless novels of the 1920s and 30s - explain the uniqueness of the wordless narrative and thus the autonomous narrative possibilities of the image. The method of the examination is a close reading of the German artist Otto Nückel's wordless novel Schicksal (Destiny 1926). A comparative material consists of the Czech artist Helena Bochořáková-Dittrichova's wordless novel Z Mého Dětství (From My Childhood, 1929). Wordlessness is studied through the image's characteristics as an intermediary of messages and narratives and through comparisons with other expressions - the silent film, cirkus, expressionist dance and visual art, as well as medieval woodcuts. Narratives – which are usually put together by verbal communication – are in this project a tool for seeing: the image sequences or the image groups that ""replace"" the words - not as a lack or implied meaning of words, but as a personal visual story.

Sin embargo, en las últimas décadas, tanto desde los gobiernos, los organismos internacionales como desde la academia, se han aso ciado las migraciones al concepto de crisis. ¿Por qué se sigue vinculando la movilidad humana a la idea de un evento extraordinario de la modernidad? ¿La migración es una consecuencia de la crisis o una causa? ¿Cómo construyen los distintos gobiernos y organismos internacionales el concepto de crisis migratoria?     Description: Grensverleggende analyse van Duitse propaganda in België in de beginfase van WOI Tijdens de Eerste Wereldoorlog probeerde de Duitse bezetter België intern te splijten. Dat gebeurde door het voeren van een Flamenpolitik, een beleid dat erop gericht was de Vlamingen of in elk geval de Vlaamse beweging in het harnas te jagen tegen België. Dat lukte, want een klein deel Vlaamsgezinden, de zogenaamde activisten, collaboreerde inderdaad. Vanaf de nazomer van 1914 zou Berlijn in het bezette land de Vlaamse beweging onophoudelijk bestoken met een grootscheepse mediacampagne. De Duitse diensten, gesteund door hun Oostenrijkse bondgenoten, maakten daarbij vooral gebruik van vlugschriften en de geschreven pers, niet alleen in België maar ook in het neutrale Nederland. In de zomer van 1915 was het activisme een feit: een anti-Belgisch Vlaams-nationalisme, waarvan de gevolgen tot op heden voelbaar zijn, had het daglicht gezien. De propaganda die eraan ten grondslag lag was zó vernuftig en ingenieus dat ze niet alleen tijdgenoten overtuigde, maar zelfs meer dan een eeuw later nog steeds historici misleidt. Het is een mooi staaltje van “fake news” avant la lettre.
