    Description: Comparative studies of mountain areas have long been at the core of the discussion about the relations between nature and culture as well as on environmental and social change. This volume searches for ways to develop further critical comparative perspectives in the study of cultures in mountain areas by drawing inter- and transdisciplinary links amongst anthropology, geography, folklore studies, montology, and global history. Drawing on examples mostly from the Alps and the Andes, but also extending to the global mountains, the authors explore socioecological environments, historical and political processes, borderscapes, demographic dynamics, forms of domestic organization, rituals, religiosities, and human-non-humanrelations.
    Description: Gli studi comparativi sulle aree montane sono da tempo al centro del dibattito sul rapporto tra natura e cultura e sui cambiamenti ecologici e sociali. Questo volume è alla ricerca di nuovi percorsi per sviluppare ulteriormente prospettive comparative critiche per lo studio delle culture delle aree montane, tracciando collegamenti inter- e transdisciplinari tra antropologia, geografia, studi di folklore, montologia e storia globale. Basandosi su esempi provenienti soprattutto dalle Alpi e dalle Ande, ma estendendo l’orizzonte anche ad altre regioni montane a livello globale, le autrici e gli autori esplorano ambienti socio-ecologici, processi storici e politici, paesaggi di confine, dinamiche demografiche, forme di organizzazione domestica, rituali, religiosità e relazioni tra umani e non-umani.
    Description: Vergleichende Studien über Bergregionen stehen seit langem im Zentrum der Debatte über das Verhältnis zwischen Natur und Kultur sowie über den ökologischen und sozialen Wandel. Dieser Band sucht nach Wegen, kritische vergleichende Perspektiven in der Erforschung von Kulturen in Bergregionen weiterzuentwickeln, indem er inter- und transdisziplinäre Verbindungen zwischen Anthropologie, Geographie, Volkskunde, Montologie und (Welt-)Geschichte herstellt. Anhand von Beispielen vor allem aus den Alpen und den Anden, aber auch aus anderen Gebirgsregionen der Welt, untersuchen die Autor:innen sozioökologische Umwelten, historische und politische Prozesse, Grenzlandschaften, demografische Dynamiken, Formen der häuslichen Organisation, Rituale, Religiosität und Mensch-/Nicht-Mensch-Beziehungen.

    Description: The book addresses the issue of the good performance of public administration using an interdisciplinary approach (legal, political, corporate, and economic). The concepts of efficiency and effectiveness have been defined in the field of business sciences, but have had a much wider impact. An efficient and effective administrative system, in fact, affects the system of values that are the basis of our society, since it makes it possible for citizens to concretely enjoy the services that are recognized by the regulatory system. This requirement appears even more meaningful in Italy, where the principle of so-called "substantial" equality is recognized by the Constitution.; Il libro affronta la questione del buon andamento della pubblica amministrazione usando un approccio interdisciplinare (giuridico, politologico, aziendalistico, ed economico). I concetti di efficienza ed efficacia sono stati definiti nell’ambito delle scienze aziendalistiche, ma hanno avuto un impatto ben più ampio. Un sistema amministrativo efficiente ed efficace, infatti, incide sul sistema di valori che sono a base della nostra società, poiché rende possibile ai cittadini fruire concretamente dei servizi che sono loro riconosciuti dall’ordinamento normativo. Tale esigenza appare ancora più pregnante in Italia, ove il principio di eguaglianza “sostanziale” è riconosciuto dalla Costituzione.

    Description: Izsledki raziskave slovenskega oblačilnega izrazja v Kanalski dolini, ki je v sodelovanju s Slovenskim kulturnim središčem Planika Kanalska dolina potekala v letih 2003–2007, so v monografiji urejeni v trijezični (slovensko-italijansko-nemški) konkordančni izrazijski slovar. Začetna, slovensko-italijanska razdelka vsebujeta prepis narečnega besedila Oblačila naših dedkov in babic glavne informantke Marie Moschitz, obogaten s slikovnim gradivom, in slovarski uvod s predstavitvijo raziskave, prikazom sestave gesel ter seznamom kratic in krajšav. Slovar v celoti temelji na prepisih posnetkov narečnih besedil, urejenih v podatkovno zbirko. Lažje iskanje po slovarju (tudi več- in drugojezičnim uporabnikom) omogočajo knjižnoslovensko-narečni, italijansko-slovenskonarečni in nemško-slovenskonarečni seznam.

    Description: Presented are seven folktales from Resia in northern Italy with a strong Slovene minority. On CD are presented narratives which have been recorded on magnetic tape by Academician Milko Matičetov. Translations from the Resian dialect in Slovene and in Italian language are published in accompanying book. One folk tale was recently recorded by Roberto Dapit in the Resian village of Lischiazze/Liščaci, and has been included in the collection to illustrate contemporary Resian narrative tradition. The tales recorded on the compact disk represent four different language groups of the Resian dialect, namely that of Stolvizza/Solbica, Oseacco/Osojane, San Giorgio/Bila, and Gniva/Njiva. This work was done within the project Zborzbirk.
    Description: Predstavljenih je sedem rezijanskih pravljic: na zgoščenki v govorjeni besedi po magnetofonskih posnetkih akademika Milka Matičetovega, v knjigi pa v slovenskem in italijanskem prevodu. Eno izmed pravljic je nedavno posnel Roberto Dapit v Liščacih v Reziji (Italija), in je vključena v ta izbor zato, da bi pokazali, kako ljudsko pripovedništvo v Reziji še naprej živi. Pravljice, ki jih lahko poslušamo na tej zgoščenki, so bile zbrane iz arhivskih posnetkov in pripovedovane v vseh glavnih rezijanskih jezikovnih področjih oz. predstavljajo štiri različne govorne skupine rezijanskega narečja območij Solbice, Osojan, Bile in Njive. Delo je nastalo v okviru bilateralnega projekta ZBORZBIRK Kulturna dediščina v zbirkah med Alpami in Krasom.

    Description: The inequalities in education, which have also been exposed by the pandemic, highlight the need for alternatives and new horizons. The seventh edition of the conference series "Didattica e Inclusione Scolastica – Inclusion in Education", which was organized for the first time under the direction of the Competence Center for Inclusion in Education of the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, offered a space to deal with the priorities of a just and inclusive education during this time. This volume opens up a dialogue on inclusive didactics, which builds a bridge between german- and Italian-speaking traditions through its multilingual and intercultural orientation. The twelve contributions open up from different perspectives theoretical references, methods and instruments for the development of an inclusive school with a special focus on didactics.

    Description: The first volume of the Bibliografia Ladina covers the entire Ladin Literature from the beginnings up to 1945. A total of 1072 entries, including manuscripts and parts of text, is ordered by authors and contains additional information regarding the date of their origin, the place and date of publication, the publication history, the idiom as well as the digital availability of the individual texts. Several indices (e.g. of the incipits) are included. Thus, this bibliography can either be used as a supplement to the first volume of the Geschichte der ladinischen Literatur (The History of Ladin Literature – Scripta Ladina Brixinensia III/1) or as an independent research tool.
    Description: Der erste Band der Bibliografia ladina erfasst das gesamte ladinische Schrifttum von den Anfängen bis 1945. Die insgesamt 1072 Einträge, darunter auch Manuskripte und Textteile, sind nach Autoren geordnet und enthalten ergänzende Angaben zum Entstehungszeitpunkt, zum Erscheinungsort und -datum, zur Veröffentlichungsgeschichte, zum Idiom sowie zur digitalen Verfügbarkeit der einzelnen Texte.     Description: The monograph La religiosità popolare in Val Canale: Il teschio lavato e avvolto nel panno (Popular piety in the Canale Valley: The skull that is washed and wrapped in cloth) is re-writed and updated version of Slovenian monograph Ljudska religioznost v Kanalski dolini: O umiti in v prt zaviti lobanji (2014). The book illustrates the festive year of Slovenes in the Canale Valley from the perspective of current ritualistic practices (still in use today). The identifying elements of the Slovenian linguistic community are recognizable in the implementation of various (popular) religious practices by the local population. The author presents the rituals (with selected prayer formulas), described as an integral part of their life by Slovenian-speaking informants - all of whom are indigenous, native people of the Canale Valley - that was described, from the point of view of experts in the fields (e.g. Kuret 1989) as typical of the Slovenian community in general.
    Description: Monografija prinaša pregled ljudskega obredja prebivalstva Kanalske doline, ki ga avtorica prepoznava kot pomemben identifikacijski element tamkajšnje slovenske jezikovne skupnosti. Posebna pozornost je namenjena še v začetku 21. stoletja živemu obrednemu »umivanju in zavijanju lobanje zadnjega pokopanega pokojnika«, o katerega razširjenosti med Slovenci so v preteklosti pisali že E. Gasparini (1952), M. Matičetov (1955) in H. Maister (1975), zapisi o prisotnosti tovrstnega obrednega umivanja v Srbiji in Makedoniji (E. Schneeweis 1935) pa namigujejo na morebitno vezanost obredja na širši južnoslovanski prostor. Gre za dopolnjeno različico slovenske monografije iz leta 2014.

    Description: “Italiano con l'immaginario” introduce un approccio di insegnamento umanistico delle lingue poco conosciuto in Italia e mutuato dalla tradizione didattica francese. La “simulation globale” diventa un corso di lingua in cui, invece di svolgere tante attività staccate e utilizzare un manuale standard, è possibile impostare un percorso in cui tutto sia collegato da un filo narrativo e la produzione orale e scritta di un vasto numero di testi avvenga all'interno di una situazione-cornice molto motivante.

    Description: Podnebje in turizem sta običajno tesno povezana. Smučanje brez snega in nizkih temperatur ni možno, če omenimo samo najbolj neposredno povezavo. Zaradi tega je bilo v zadnjih letih opravljenih veliko raziskav o vplivu podnebnih sprememb na turizem v gorskih območjih. In o tem govori knjiga ClimAlpTour. Podnebne spremembe in njihov vpliv na turizem v Alpah, ki je nastala v projektu z istim imenom iz programa Evropskega teritorialnega sodelovanja, Alpski prostor, ter izšla v slovenskem, angleškem, italijanskem, nemškem in francoskem jeziku. Ponuja širok spekter vsebin: od pričakovanih učinkov dvigovanja temperature na turizem, vpliva teh sprememb na razvoj Alp do rešitev oziroma prilagoditvenih strategij. Glavnina knjige obravnava konkretna območja oziroma turistična središča (v celoti 22, slovenski sta dve: Zgornje Posočje in Kranjska Gora) tako s prevladujočim zimskim kot tudi poletnim in celoletnim turizmom: njihove temeljne značilnosti, izzive in priložnosti ter prilagoditvene strategije. Knjiga se sklene s priporočili in smernicami za turistično industrijo in nosilci odločitev.

    Description: Il miglioramento verso un assetto poligenerativo degli attuali impianti altoatesini di gassificazione della biomassa legnosa, dove oltre all’energia si possa produrre biochar di qualità da impiegare in agricoltura come ammendante con effetti positivi sulla fertilità dei suoli e sulla mitigazione dei cambiamenti climatici è la visione che ha sostenuto il progetto WOOD-UP. Il progetto, finanziato con fondi FESR 2014-2020, ha visto la collaborazione tra la Libera Università di Bolzano e il Centro di Sperimentazione Laimburg. L’analisi del ciclo di vita e di scenario dell’intera filiera di gassificazione ha evidenziato elementi di forza e di debolezza dell’attuale filiera in termini di impatti ambientali e ha permesso di avanzare proposte di miglioramento sulla base dei risultati ottenuti dalla sperimentazione.

    Description: Knjiga je namenjena popotnikom po Kanalski dolini, Ratečah v Gornjesavski dolini in Belopeški ravnini, Reziji, Terski in Karnajski dolini, Kobariškem, Nadiških dolinah, Liškem, Kambreškem in dolini Idrije, po Kanalskem in Goriških brdih, ki jih zanimajo etnološke, zgodovinske in druge značilnosti slovenskega in italijanskega območja med Alpami in Krasom, hkrati pa bi si radi ogledali, kako svojo dediščino razumejo domačini, društva, občine in muzeji. Večino si je mogoče ogledati po predhodnem dogovoru in prek spleta. Vodnik je nastal v okviru projekta ZBORZBIRK, ki je bil sofinanciran v Programu čezmejnega sodelovanja Slovenija-Italija 2007–2013.

    Description: The monograph Shranli smo jih v bančah ('We saved them in chests') aims to present Slovenian clothing terminology in the Canale Valley (Slo. Kanalska dolina). It is the result of research conducted in cooperation with the Planika Kanalska dolina Slovenian cultural centre between 2003–2007 and in 2014. It has been formatted as a trilingual (English-German-Italian) concordance dictionary in which the most common collocations are presented alongside clothing terminology. The dictionary includes 657 entries and is based on approximately 1,400 audio extracts from around 16 hours of recording of guided conversations with five informants from Valbruna (Slo. Ovčja vas), Camporosso (Slo. Žabnice) and Uggoviza (Slo. Ukve). The dictionary’s introduction, containing a presentation of the research conducted, the structure of the dictionary entries and a list of abbreviations and acronyms, is accompanied by a transcription of the dialect text Oblačila naših dedkov in babic (Our grandparents’ clothing) by the main informant, Maria Moschitz, together with some photographic material. To make searching through the dictionary easier for users with expertise in several or other languages as well, we have provided lists of entries in which dialect words can be searched against Standard Slovenian, Italian and German, as well as reverse index.
    Description: Izsledki raziskave slovenskega oblačilnega izrazja v Kanalski dolini, ki je v sodelovanju s Slovenskim kulturnim središčem Planika Kanalska dolina potekala v letih 2003–2007, so v monografiji urejeni v trijezični (slovensko-italijansko-nemški) konkordančni izrazijski slovar. Začetna, slovensko-italijanska razdelka vsebujeta prepis narečnega besedila Oblačila naših dedkov in babic glavne informantke Marie Moschitz, obogaten s slikovnim gradivom, in slovarski uvod s predstavitvijo raziskave, prikazom sestave gesel ter seznamom kratic in krajšav. Slovar v celoti temelji na prepisih posnetkov narečnih besedil, urejenih v podatkovno zbirko.     Description: Important anniversaries of prominent historians have become traditional opportunities for the gift to the celebrator in the form of scientific contributions from his colleagues and the colleagues who have worked with him fruitfully or are still doing so. Marušičev zbornik is a tribute to one of the leading historians of the Slovene region in contact with its western neighbors, historian prof. Branko Marušič at the age of 80. He has created a very important oeuvre, while outlining basic research directions, which some have continued to gain. One of the prominent results of this “scientific transfer” is the present scientific monograph, with the highly significant subtitle, Zgodovinopisec zahodnega roba (The Historian of West Edge). In a single volume, it represents the contribution of different generations of historians to new insights into the history of coastal space, especially that of the borderland, which throughout history has encountered coexistence with “the other.” Different historical sources and their careful analyzes and interpretations, which the authors place in different time contexts, contribute to new or original scientific knowledge. The monograph is actual and important for the development of historiography, also because of the development of Slovenian scientific terminology.
    Description: Kot je v recenziji zapisal izr. prof. dr. Gorazd Bajc, postajajo pomembni jubileji vidnih zgodovinarjev že tradicionalne priložnosti poklona slavljencu v obliki znanstvenih prispevkov kolegov in kolegic, ki so z njim plodno sodelovali oziroma to še vedno počnejo. Marušičev zbornik je poklon enemu izmed vodilnih preučevalcev zgodovine slovenskega prostora v stiku z zahodnimi sosedi, zgodovinarju prof. dr. Branku Marušiču ob njegovi 80-letnici. Ustvaril je zelo pomemben opus, obenem pa začrtal temeljne raziskovalne usmeritve, ki so jih nekateri s pridom nadaljevali. Eden izmed vidnih rezultatov tega »znanstvenega prenosa« je pričujoča znanstvena monografija z zelo pomenljivim podnaslovom Zgodovinopisec zahodnega roba. Na enem samem mestu namreč predstavlja doprinos različnih generacij zgodovinarjev k novim spoznanjem o zgodovini primorskega prostora, posebej tistega mejnega, ki se je skozi zgodovino ves čas srečeval s sobivanjem z »drugim«. Različni zgodovinski viri in njihove pozorne analize ter interpretacije, ki jih avtorji umeščajo v različne časovne kontekste, prispevajo k novim oziroma izvirnim znanstvenim spoznanjem.

    Description: This bibliographic documentation follows the two comprehensive bibliographies on the Rhaeto-Romance language, the Rätoromanische Bibliographie (Maria Iliescu / Heidi Siller-Runggaldier) and the Rätoromanische Bibliographie 1985-1997 (Heidi Siller-Runggaldier / Paul Videsott). All data contained in these works have been integrated in this bibliography and updated until 2010. The nearly 5000 entries that cover a period from 1729 to 2010 are newly arranged according to subject areas and chronologically increasing publication dates. Consequently, this bibliography becomes a sort of “reading book of the history of science" representing the state of the art of international Rhaeto-Romance studies.
    Description: Diese bibliographische Dokumentation knüpft an die beiden umfassenden Bibliographien zum Rätoromanischen, die Rätoromanische Bibliographie (Maria Iliescu/Heidi Siller-Runggaldier) sowie die Rätoromanische Bibliographie 1985-1997 (Heidi Siller-Runggaldier/Paul Videsott)an, deren Daten hier integriert und bis 2010 aktualisiert wurden. Durch die neue Anordnung der bibliographischen Daten nach Sachbereichen und chronologisch ansteigendem Publikationsdatum werden die knapp 5000 Einträge aus dem Zeitraum zwischen 1729 und 2010 zu einer Art „wissenschaftsgeschichtlichem Lesebuch“ zum state of the art der internationalen Rätoromanistik.
