    Description: The publication publishes excursions of the Ljubljana Geographical Society, carried out between April 2015 and May 2019. If we break down individual contributions according to their main characteristics, we can point out some interesting findings. Let us first mention their concentration in the western part of Slovenia. Southwestern Slovenia stands out as an area of strong regional dominance, with the participants taking advantage of two excursions to the wide-open state border with Italy, created by Slovenia's entry into the Schengen area. The variety of excursions according to the method of implementation is also noticeable. As a rule, classic bus transport is enriched by walking. Completely different logistics were needed to carry out a cycling excursion through the Slovenian and Italian Karst. There is a continuing tendency for geographical knowledge to increasingly complement the content of other disciplines, especially archeology and ethnology, which certainly enriches excursions due to a different view of the landscape and emphases that geographers usually ignore or do not know much about.
    Description: V publikaciji so objavljene ekskurzije Ljubljanskega geografskega društva, izvedene med aprilom 2015 in majem 2019. Če posamezne prispevke skušamo razčleniti po njihovih poglavitnih značilnostih, lahko izpostavimo nekaj zanimivih spoznanj. Naj najprej izpostavimo njihovo osredotočenost v zahodnem delu Slovenije. Kot območje izrazite regionalne prevlade izstopa jugozahodna Slovenija, pri čemer so udeleženci kar dveh ekskurzij s pridom izkoristili na široko razprto državno mejo z Italijo, nastalo z vstopom Slovenije v šengensko območje. Zaznavna je tudi raznovrstnost ekskurzij glede na način izvedbe. Klasične avtobusne prevoze praviloma popestri pešačenje. Povsem drugačna logistika je bila potrebna za izvedbo kolesarske ekskurzije po slovenskem in italijanskem Krasu. Nadaljuje se težnja, da geografska spoznanja v vse večji meri dopolnjujejo vsebine drugih disciplin, predvsem arheologije in etnologije, kar ekskurzije zagotovo bogati tako zaradi drugačnega videnja pokrajine kot poudarkov, ki jih geografi na svojih poteh navadno prezremo ali o njih ne vemo prav veliko.

    Description: V tokratni knjižici so pripravljeni opisi ekskurzij v slovenske robne pokrajine: Prekmurje, Belo krajino, Kočevsko, Bloško planoto, Baško grapo in Koprsko primorje. Razvrščene so od severovzhoda proti jugozahodu~nekoliko izstopa Baška grapa, edina obravnavana pokrajina v severozahodni Sloveniji. Strokovne opise so pripravili poznavalci, ki bodisi živijo v tamkajšnjem okolju bodisi od tam izvirajo njihove korenine in so z njimi še vedno ohranili tesne vezi, tudi v poglobljenem zanimanju zanje. Podrobni opisi posameznih ekskurzij navajajo priporočljive točke za postanke in temeljitejše oglede značilnih pojavov in procesov, ob tem pa nazorno predstavijo aktualne tematike. Ob številnih zemljevidih, skicah, shemah, grafikonih in fotografijah je podajanje dovolj poljudno, da je razumljivo tudi povprečno razgledanemu bralcu.

    Description: This study attempts to illustrate the role of regional policy in the development of spatial structures and simultaneously determine the success and the possibly diverse response of individual instruments of regional policy to the structures of problem areas. We established that the influences of the regional policy are relatively minor, a consequence of the scant financial means devoted to the stimulation of regional development, the lack of power of the overall regional policy relative to all development currents introduced by inclusion in the European Union, and very aggressive globalization. However, we are able to cite some of its successes, mostly visible on the local level, although at higher levels their influence weakened. Because the goals of the regional policy in the previous period have not been achieved, we suggest some changes that would either strengthen the current method of stimulating regional development or abandon it altogether and turn toward the active stimulation of the polycentric network of cities that would result in the greater competitiveness of individual centers, which we hope would also have positive effects in their immediate hinterland.
    Description: Avtor v knjigi prikazuje vlogo regionalne politike pri razvoju prostorskih struktur, obenem pa ugotavlja uspešnost in morebitno različno odzivanje posameznih instrumentov regionalne politike na strukturne značilnosti problemskih območij. Poleg vidnih prostorskih vplivov so obravnavani tudi socioekonomski dejavniki, ki učinkujejo predvsem na prikrite prostorske strukture. V knjigi je zajet prostor kot celota, kot splet naravnih in družbenih prvin. Avtor ugotavlja, da so vplivi regionalne politike zaradi pičlih finančnih sredstev, nemoči regionalne politike ob vključitvi Slovenije v Evropsko unijo in globalizacije razmeroma majhni. V monografiji predstavljena raziskava je eden prvih poizkusov celostnega vrednotenja projektov slovenske regionalne politike. Poleg vrednotenja projektov podaja tudi širši vsebinski kontekst, ki lahko služi kot referenčni okvir morebitnim nadaljnjim vrednotenjem.

    Paleoekološke značilnosti apnencev v okolici Škocjanskih jam (2022)

    Description: Iz vremskih in kozinskih plasti so predvsem iz paleoekološkega in deloma iz biostratigrafskega stališča raziskani štirje profili iz neposredne okolice Škocjanskih jam. Namen raziskave je bil proučevanje okolja sedimentacije plasti z giroplevrami v vremskih plasteh in tistega dela kozinskih plasti, kjer se pojavljajo haraceje in polži. Školjke iz rodu Gyropleura, Apricardia in morda še druge školjke so v apnencih vremskih plasti na drugotnem mestu~školjke so živele v plitvi vodi nedaleč od obale, na drugotno mesto so jih prinesli valovi in tokovi~odsotnost rapidionin v horizontih z giroplevrami potrjuje trditev, da so bile lupine nametane proti obali, saj so rapidionine živele v izrazito lagunskem okolju. Na plitvo okolje sedimentacije kažejo tudi laminiti~pri haracejah iz kozinskih plasti imamo primere flore na mestu in primere presedimentiranih delov haracej (oogonijev)~oogonije so vodni tokovi prenašali proti globljim delom sedimentacijskega bazena. Skupaj z nepresedimentiranimi haracejami se pogosto pojavljajo tudi polži, s kemično analizo kisikovih in ogljikovih izotopov v vzorcih pa je bil ugotovljen večkraten vpliv sladke vode na morsko okolje.

    Description: Comment s’acquiert la certitude cartésienne ? Par quelle suite d’exercices le doute, l’incertitude, l’ignorance, se changent-ils en un savoir assuré ? Descartes forge pour l’expliquer une « fable » que Doatéa Nuri prend ici décidément au sérieux. Les tribulations, les hésitations, les atermoiements, les incapacités dont font état le Discours de la méthode ou les Méditations métaphysiques sont imputés par elle non à Descartes, mais à un narrateur qu’elle nomme l’Incertain et dont elle brosse le portrait philosophique. Non sans conséquences importantes pour la philosophie elle-même. Car l’incertitude, autre nom de la neutralité, ou de l’anonymat, caractérise aussi bien « l’espace littéraire ». Cette lecture de Descartes, qui cite Blanchot, Deleuze, Foucault, mais fait aussi songer, quand l’Incertain se fait Barbare ou Arpenteur, au Michaux de Plume, ouvre à la pensée un champ illimité, vertigineux, dans lequel la neutralité, virtuellement universelle, est susceptible d’affecter des textes de tous ordres, sans souci d’aucune autorité. L’incertitude n’est pas seulement une hypothèse paradoxale formulée à propos du philosophe réputé le plus clair et le plus assuré ; elle est peut-être la condition de toute pensée.

The goal of this volume is to present the wide variety of research findings on geographical information systems in Slovenia in recent years. Digital data is one of the main pillars of geographical information systems, and so this volume describes opportunities to put such data to use. Recently lidar scanning technology has increased the precision and diversity of analysis. The volume clearly presents project results and research in areas such as geography, hydrology, protection against natural disasters, archaeology, transport, settlement, remote sensing, and others. Tudi namen te knjige je predstaviti najrazličnejša spoznanja raziskovalcev v svetu geografskih informacijskih sistemov na območju Slovenije v zadnjih letih.     Description: La publication en 2013 d'une version reconstruite du texte de Kracauer Die totalitäre Propaganda (1937-1938) a renouvelé la perception que l’on pouvait avoir de cette dimension de son œuvre et de son apport à une « théorie critique de la propagande ». La réflexion sur la propagande s’inscrit dans le contexte plus vaste de l’élaboration par les exilés allemands, au tournant des années 1930-1940, d’une grille de lecture du national-socialisme, vu comme une pathologie de la modernité, ainsi que dans celui des grands projets de recherches américains sur la propagande nazie (auxquels Adorno et Kracauer ont été associés). Au sein de la nébuleuse de la « Théorie critique » Kracauer exprime, comme Benjamin, un point de vue à certains égards dissonant. À rebours d’une approche qui insiste surtout sur la continuité entre capitalisme et nazisme, il se montre particulièrement sensible à la séduction esthétique du fascisme, et à sa mise en scène d’une réalité de substitution, qui est selon lui l’expression d’une fuite en avant nihiliste : ses analyses concrètes ne portent pas tant sur les contenus du message que sur le langage même de la propagande, et la vision de la société et de l’histoire qu’elle véhicule, dans sa forme même. Le débat complexe qui se développe à cette époque entre Adorno, Benjamin et Kracauer met notamment en œuvre les catégories de « fétichisme » (Adorno), de « fantasmagorie » et d’« esthétisation du politique » (Benjamin), d’« apparence » et de « pseudo-réalité » (Kracauer). Il présente en premier lieu un intérêt historique, en tant que l’analyse du nazisme constitue pour le projet d’une théorie critique une mise à l’épreuve, qui suscite de vifs débats internes et aboutit chez Adorno et Horkheimer, dans la Dialectique de la raison (1944-1947), à une reformulation de ce projet. Mais dans un contexte aujourd’hui bien différent, les thèmes qui sont débattus entre ces protagonistes, comme celui de la dérive autoritaire du libéralisme, des manipulations de masse, de la construction médiatique du réel n’ont rien perdu de leur actualité.

    Description: Les Principes de la philosophie du droit sont l'un des textes les plus lus et les plus controversés de Hegel. Il s’agit à la fois d’un bilan de l’histoire de la philosophie morale, juridique et politique et d’une analyse audacieuse et « engagée » de la modernité post-révolutionnaire. Pourtant, malgré sa destination pédagogique et sa rédaction soignée, le précis de 1820 est d’un abord malaisé, dans la mesure où il ne se soustrait à aucune des exigences de ce qui, pour Hegel, garantit la « scientificité » d’un traité de philosophie. Il n’y a rien d’étonnant, par conséquent, au fait que les querelles d’interprétation les plus violentes aient eu lieu à son propos et que la pensée hégélienne du droit ait, tour à tour, servi de caution ou de repoussoir aux prises de position politiques les plus diverses. La difficulté du texte mais aussi le caractère stratégique des thèmes abordés font en effet des Principes de la philosophie du droit un idéal miroir à fantasmes. Or ce que l’on nomme la « fin des idéologies » ouvre la voie à une lecture plus sereine (mais peut-être plus exigeante) de la conceptualisation hégélienne du droit et pas seulement de ce que Hegel nomme le « droit étatique », mais aussi du droit privé (« abstrait »), centré sur la question de la propriété, et du droit qu'a l’individu de voir honorée sa qualité de sujet moral agissant. Ce recueil d’études, qui illustre les tendances actuelles de la recherche, propose une lecture à la fois synthétique et détaillée de l’ouvrage de Hegel en insistant non seulement sur sa dimension « systématique » et spéculative, mais aussi sur ses prises de position les plus novatrices. Il ne s’agit pas de prétendre que Hegel soit avant tout un philosophe du droit, encore moins de mettre entre parenthèses le puissant soubassement métaphysique ou spéculatif de sa doctrine de l’esprit objectif, mais de réévaluer ce moment du système et de tirer parti des appuis qu'il peut offrir à la philosophie contemporaine.

    Description: Le Zibaldone est le grand journal de pensées de Giacomo Leopardi. Le jeune philosophe y consigne, sur près de quinze ans et plus de 4500 pages, des réflexions qu’il nomme « de philosophie variée et de belle littérature ». Et en effet, c’est bien la variété, et même la plus étonnante bigarrure qui caractérisent ce monumental magasin d’écriture : bigarrure des matières brassées (métaphysique, théologie, politique, morale, esthétique) et bigarrure des formes (aphorisme, anecdote, note érudite, essai). Le Zibaldone apparaît donc tout d’abord comme un flux discontinu et disparate de pensée. Cependant, Leopardi n’entend pas y exposer une rhapsodie de vérités isolées et fragmentaires mais un authentique système philosophique. « Il mio sistema » : tels sont les premiers mots du cri léopardien, de son exigence méthodologique et ontologique. Manquer d’esprit de système c’est manquer d’ordre, et c’est surtout manquer l’essence même du réel, de la nature en tant que totalité, une nature qu’il ne saurait concevoir autrement, elle aussi, que comme un système et un ordre. Quel est donc l’ordre du système léopardien ? Et dans quelle mesure celui-ci épouse-t-il l’ordre de la nature ? Quel est leur fondement commun ? Répondre à ces questions revient à montrer en quoi cette totalité mouvante, ouverte et rhizomatique qu’est le Zibaldone est le lieu le plus à même d’accueillir une pensée placée devant l’urgence de statuer sur les guises de l’existence et de la contradiction.

    Description: The book Glasba, politika, afekt: novo življenje partizanskih pesmi v Sloveniji ('Music, Politics, Affect: New Lives of Partisan Songs in Slovenia') explores the potentialities of music in imagining alternatives and establishing alliances, which introduce new senses of belonging and solidarity in global neoliberal capitalism. It examines the reactualization of partisan songs in post-Yugoslav Slovenia with an emphasis on the collective spirit, its rebelliousness and emancipatory potential. In researching the “new lives” of partisan songs, the book focuses on the self-organized female choir Kombinat, an emblematic example of thinking about the partisan art in Slovenia today. Just a part of Kombinat repertoire, partisan songs are discursively, sonically, spatially, ideologically and symbolically reloaded, challenging thus the various boundaries in thinking about this legacy in Slovenian context. Using theoretical framework of affect theory, and particularly theories of music materialism and sonic affect, the book provides an alternative perspective to our understanding of political capacity of music. It addresses four main issues: the role of music and sound in political mobilization and participation, the potentials of musical alliances and musical self-organization and self-education, referencing musical past as a way of political engagement, and finally, revitalization and reactualization of socialist ideas and values in the current moment of global transition.

Za celotno območje so zbrani in dopolnjeni podatki drugih naravoslovnih ved. Delo nam prinaša opis 1036 rastlinskih taksonov, ki so razvrščeni po abecednem redu znanstvenih imen. Pri večini vrst so njihovi življenjski prostori opredeljeni po Physis kategorizaciji, za nekatere pa so navedene tudi fitocenološke enote, v katerih rastejo. Izpostavljeni so problemi ogroženosti rastišč nekaterih redkih in endemičnih vrst, vpliv nasadov iglavcev ter pojav neavtohtonih rastlin, naposled pa tudi naravovarstvena tematika v luči evropskega projekta Natura 2000.

    Description: « Penser ma mort c’est aussi bien penser moi sans le monde que le monde sans moi, c’est penser à la rupture d’un rapport. Où l’angoisse commence c’est quand, au sentiment du monde comme réalité empirique, nous substituons une présence du monde en nous, qui serait le temps... Je n’étais pas plus satisfait du monde mais du moins je me sentais en sécurité dans un monde qui ne me satisfaisait pas. Ce sont ces deux conditions qui ont pu faire place en moi à l’angoisse de la mort : celle de disparaître non au monde (empiriquement) mais celle de disparaître au sens absolu... ». Par toutes sortes de détours ce texte ramène à un centre, la distinction entre la peur de mourir qui concerne le texte de la vie, et l’angoisse devant la mort, qui elle ne concerne « rien ». L’auteur, à qui le genre même du Journal permet de se contredire et dans ces contradictions mêmes de retrouver toujours les mêmes évidences, s’appuie sur trois refuges, la réflexion bouddhique (et indienne), celle d’Epicure, la pensée christique (le « il faut qu’il vive »). Des analyses particulières s’entremêlent, celle du suicide (« le suicide s’explique parce que l’angoisse de la mort ne peut contrebalancer le dégoût de la vie, sans quoi il n’y aurait pas de suicide »), la peine de mort, le couple... Aux trois points d’appui qui reviennent explicitement — érotisme, travail, art — le quatrième que l’auteur ne nomme pas, l’ami mort, est peut-être le plus présent. Le livre s’achève par un bref rappel de réflexions sur la mort, depuis la philosophie antique et celle de la Renaissance (Montaigne), puis Descartes, Pascal, Schopenhauer, des modernes enfin, de Bergson, Simmel, Heidegger à Jean-Paul Sartre et Paul Ricoeur ; enfin quatre littérateurs, Alain, Paul Valéry, Paul Léautaud et André Malraux.

    Description: Lorsque l'article Genève paraît dans l'Encyclopédie, Rousseau publie une Lettre à d'Alembert sur son article Genève, réponse foisonnante et virulente qui traite aussi bien du clergé, des mœurs, de l'honneur, des lois, que des spectacles ou des divertissements qui conviennent au peuple genevois. Pourquoi prend-il ces questions tellement à cœur ? En dépit de ses origines genevoises revendiquées, on ne lui a pas confié la rédaction de l'article. D'Alembert, en s'en chargeant personnellement, sait qu'il attise une polémique. Son Discours préliminaire de l'Encyclopédie visait déjà à réfuter le Discours sur les sciences et les arts. L'article sur Genève présente la cité calviniste comme un exemple de liberté politique et religieuse mais critique des restes d'obscurantisme que la lumière philosophique doit dissiper : il suggère des réformes, notamment la levée de l'interdiction d'un théâtre permanent. D'Alembert imagine ce qu'il nomme une « cité philosophe », où fleuriraient à la fois la liberté de la république et les raffinements culturels des grandes monarchies. Or ce projet résume tout ce que Rousseau, depuis le premier Discours, dénonce comme une illusion. Sa Lettre approfondit la démonstration : le théâtre comme école de l'hypocrisie, le bel esprit, la civilité telle qu'on la conçoit à Paris sont inconciliables avec les mœurs de véritables citoyens. Ses thèses sur les spectacles ne sont qu'un aspect de sa réflexion sur la modernité : à quelles conditions la république est-elle possible ? Comment lier adéquatement morale, esthétique et politique ? Les études réunies dans ce volume éclairent les enjeux et les logiques complexes d'un texte que son auteur, alors malade et croyant vivre ses derniers jours, a rédigé comme s'il devait s'agir de son testament philosophique.

    Description: Comme le métis n’est pas métis par son enveloppe, mais par sa capacité à se construire en permanence, le sujet n’est pas sujet par analogie mais par différence. La différence porte en elle le double à condition de comprendre que le double n’est pas deux fois une unité mais l’impossibilité pour une chose d’être une. Des notions (l’étranger, la différence, l’altérité, le métis, la relégation, le métèque, l’autochtone, le même, l’unicité, l’identité…) mais aussi des penseurs (Héraclite, Parménide, Blanchot, Levinas, Maître Eckhart, Platon, Michaux, Lao Tseu, Deleuze, Derrida…) pour mieux saisir la nature profonde de cette communauté humaine. Fragmenter l’unité apparente de chaque singularité pour faire remonter sa propre étrangeté : c’est à cet instant précis peut-être que le mouvement de la communauté prend tout son sens, quand il résiste à l’uniforme. Commun, communion, communisme, communauté, communautaire, communautarisme… le terme de communauté est complexe. Utilisé à tort et à travers il perd son sens. Qu’est-ce qu’une communauté finalement ? Comment distinguer la communauté du communautarisme et comment éviter de réduire la communauté au communautaire ou l’identité à l’identitaire ? « Qu’est-ce donc qui nous manque ? », pour reprendre la question de Maître Eckhart. La communauté pour combler un manque ou la communauté comme comble du manque ? C’est l’interrogation centrale de cet essai sur la place de l’étranger dans la communauté humaine.

    Description: This volume (‘Former waste disposal sites in dolines and gravel pits’) presents former waste disposal sites in depressions (dolines and gravel pits) using relief analysis of the former and current landscape and based on comparing them with one another. A comprehensive methodological approach has been created called the three-dimensional (3D) model, which is used to detect and record unknown, hidden former waste disposal sites in depressions above sensitive aquifers. The research deals with the problem of former waste disposal sites from the viewpoint of discovering them, creating a registry, and studying noticeable surface effects on the landscape (relief, soil, and vegetation).
    Description: Monografija predstavlja nekdanja odlagališča odpadkov v kotanjah (vrtače, gramoznice) z uporabo reliefne analize nekdanje in sedanje pokrajine ter na podlagi njune medsebojne primerjave. Z analizo reliefa smo na vzorčnih območjih Logaškega polja in Logaškega ravnika ter Ljubljanskega polja določili izhodiščno stanje vrtač in gramoznic pred njihovim zasipavanjem z odpadki. Dobljene rezultate smo preverjali s terenskim delom. Vzorčili (sondirali) smo prsti nad odpadki, na preseku zasutih kotanj smo merili električno upornost tal, s fitogeografskim popisom pa smo določili indikatorske rastline, ki so pokazatelj navzočnosti organskih odpadkov v kotanji. Rezultati terenskega preučevanja pomenijo nova izhodišča za bodoče geoinformacijske analize rastlinstva in prsti na odlagališčih odpadkov. Izsledki monografije so pomembna podlaga za morebitno izdelavo katastra nekdanjih odlagališč odpadkov na ravni celotne Slovenije, kjer je odprtih še veliko metodoloških izzivov, povezanih z različnimi tipi podatkov.

    Description: The book brings a thorough review of landslide susceptibility in Slovenia. In the introductory chapter the most significant geographical and other Slovenian literature on slope processes is listed, and then the basic characteristics of landslides are explained. The landslide susceptibility in Slovenia is presented on the example of twelve large landslides, followed by the chapter on legislation on natural disasters in Slovenia.The most important part of the book is the detailed description of methods for elaboration landslide susceptibility maps with different methods. The deterministic, statistical and probabilistic methods and corresponding maps are described into detail. Such maps have been elaborated with the geographical information system using the digital elevation model 25 x 25 m. Landslide susceptibility is finally presented in the framework of the regionalization of Slovenia that had been elaborated by the Anton Melik Geographical Institute SRC SASA and for all Slovenian municipalities. The last chapter of the book is important for geomorphology, describing the role of the landslides for the formation of relief.The book is intended to be used in spatial planning, physical geography, geography of natural hazards and other branches of geography as well as in related sciences.
    Description: Knjiga prinaša pregled plazovitosti v Sloveniji. Najprej je predstavljen opis dvanajstih večjih pojavov, sledi poglavje o zakonodaji na področju naravnih nesreč v Sloveniji, najpomembnejši del knjige pa je poglavje z opisom metod za izdelavo zemljevidov plazovitosti. V knjigi so predstavljene deterministične, statistične in probabilistične metode. Za geomorfologijo je pomembno zadnje poglavje, ki govori o zemeljskih plazovih kot oblikovalcih reliefa. Delo je namenjeno načrtovalcem rabe prostora in drugim uporabnikom prostora, poglabljanju študija fizične geografije, geografije naravnih nesreč, uporabno pa je tudi širše v geografiji in v geografiji sorodnih vedah.

    Description: Le matérialisme, à strictement parler, est la thèse selon laquelle il n’y a que la matière qui suffit pour tout expliquer, sans avoir recours à toute autre substance immatérielle, comme Dieu ou l’âme. Une telle position implique-t-elle des conceptions morales et politiques particulières ? Rien n’est moins sûr. Pourtant, dès les lendemains de la Révolution, les penseurs réactionnaires ont vu dans les Lumières et leur versant matérialiste la source d’un renversement moral et politique qu’ils réprouvaient. Au point que Barbey d’Aurevilly s’exclamera : « Diderot, lui, eût été ardemment révolutionnaire » - ce qui n’était certes pas un éloge ! Qu’en est-il en réalité de ce nouage entre les positions des Lumières, relatives à l’explication de la nature et de l’homme, et une philosophie morale et politique ? Les études ici réunies explorent différentes facettes de cette question, chez les penseurs matérialistes eux-mêmes comme dans le regard que la postérité a jeté sur eux.     Description: Vodni viri mesta Ljubljane so v neposredni bližini pozidanih mestnih zemljišč ali celo pod njimi. Že desetletja jih varujejo vodovarstvena območja. Eden od najpomembnejših ciljev trajnostnega upravljanja je ohranjanje ustrezne oskrbe z naravno pitno vodo brez tehnoloških postopkov njene priprave, kar Ljubljančani uvrščajo visoko na lestvici vrednot življenja v glavnem mestu Slovenije. Upravljanje ogroženih vodnih virov v urbanih okoljih zahteva celosten pristop in stalne aktivnosti. S pomočjo računalniških orodij znamo sisteme simulirati in tako pridobiti dodatna védenja o njihovem delovanju. Ta so v pomoč pri dolgoročnih odločitvah ali na primer ob okoljskih nesrečah. Za ustrezno načrtovanje so potrebna strokovna orodja, ki omogočajo zanesljive, pregledne in kvantitativne ocene učinkov ukrepov. Razpolaganje z zanesljivimi ocenami stanja in napovedmi olajšuje delo odločevalcem in tudi komunikacijo med deležniki. Povezava v monografiji predstavljenih postopkov in rezultatov v sistem izvedljivega upravljanja z vodnimi viri v Ljubljani je dosežek, ki je lahko zgled številnim podobnim okoljem, ne le v Sloveniji, ampak tudi širše.

    Description: From the viewpoints of regional and agrarian geography and regional planning the author systematically analyze all main natural features and many regional social factors of the municipality of Moravče: bedrock, type of relief, altitude, inclination, water conditions (including flood conditions), climate conditions (particularly insolation), soil and vegetation, land use, population, settlements, and economy. On the basis of the analysis, a detailed partition of the municipality into small homogenous units is made, three in the valley and four in the hills. The book also deals with the evaluation of the landscape from the viewpoint of individual types of agricultural land use~determines the suitability of areas for cultivated fields, meadows, and orchards~and considers the quality of locations from the viewpoint of settlement. The book concludes with recommendations for the most suitable land use and a survey of the current irrational use of land.The synthetic maps and theme maps showing individual natural factors can be used to advantage in regional planning. Emphasis is placed on determining the interdependence of landscape factors and their joint influences, on the laws and causes governing individual phenomena, and on the comparison of microregions.
    Description: Delo je s področja regionalne in agrarne geografije ter regionalnega planiranja. Avtorji upoštevajo prostor celotne občine. Sistematično analizirajo vse glavne naravne in mnoge družbene pokrajinske dejavnike: kamninsko podlago, tipe reliefa, nadmorske višine, nagnjenost tal, vodne razmere, vključno s poplavnimi razmerami, podnebne razmere, posebej osončenost, prst in rastlinstvo, rabo tal, prebivalstvo, naselja in gospodarstvo. Na podlagi analize je izvedena podrobna členitev občine na majhne homogene enote, tri v podolju in štiri v hribovju. Knjiga se ukvarja tudi z vrednotenjem pokrajine z vidika posameznih vrst kmetijske rabe~ugotavlja primernost zemljišč za njive, travnike in sadovnjake ter kakovost tal z vidika poselitve. Dodana sta še predlog najustreznejše rabe tal in pregled neracionalno rabljenih zemljišč.

    Description: The book brings a thorough review of slope processes, their causes and consequences. Both, prehistoric and recent slope processes in Slovenia are described into deatil. Authors investigated the main characteristics of slope processes according to the type of movement (flow, slide, fall), their extent and effects. As geographers, they are interested mainly in the links between natural processes and man. More than sixty different slope processes in Slovenia are described into detail, based upon field work and examination of numerous sources. In this way all types of slope processes are included and described.Review of circumstances if followed by a discussion about the importance of slope processes for spatial planning as well as methodological and practical instructions for hazarad maps elaboration with different methods. Two deterministic methods and a one probabilistic are presented.The documentary value of the book is also increased by the fact that it brings a chapter about a memory of inhabitants on slope processes, as it has been preserved in sacred literature and aitiological narratives.The book can be used for thorough studies of physical geography and related sciences. Plentiful documentary material makes it useful for everyone who would like to explore nature in Slovenia.
    Description: V Sloveniji je bila do te knjige o pobočnih procesih objavljena le ena znanstvena monografija, pa še ta je obravnavala le zemeljske plazove. Več je bilo strokovnih in znanstvenih člankov, ki pa teme ne predstavljajo celovito. Knjiga je tako prva monografija, v kateri so celovito in podrobno opisani pobočni procesi in njihovi učinki na naravo in družbo. Ker se pobočni procesi pogosto zgodijo na istem kraju, je podrobno opisanih več kot petdeset pobočnih procesov, ki so se zgodili na ozemlju Republike Slovenije in v njeni soseščini. Predstavljeni sta izdelava zemljevidov z deterministično in probabilistično metodo. Pobočni procesi so opisani tudi v pripovedkah in svetih spisih. Knjiga je namenjena fizičnim geografom, predstavnikom sorodnih ved (geologija, gozdarstvo, gradbeništvo), pa tudi študentom pri predmetih, ki obravnavajo geomorfologijo, geomorfne procese, pobočne procese in naravne nesreče.

    Description: Si les alchimistes se désignaient eux-mêmes sous le nom de « philosophes », cette qualité leur fut déniée dès le Moyen-Âge par bien des représentants plus officiels de la « philosophie ». Aujourd’hui, l’importance des doctrines alchimiques dans l’histoire des idées n’est plus guère contestée. Pourtant, les rapports entre la « philosophie hermétique » ou « chymique » et la philosophie au sens habituel restent mal étudiés. C’est afin d’apporter des éléments de réponse à cette question que s’est tenu le colloque dont ce volume constitue les Actes. L’originalité des contributions est de présenter l’alchimie de la Renaissance (xve-xviie siècles) non comme un tout cohérent, donné une fois pour toutes dans la dimension anhistorique d’une « secrète science », mais comme un corpus théorique traversé par une multiplicité de tendances. Cette multiplicité est ici illustrée par l’analyse d’œuvres ou de courants particuliers ayant contribué au développement des doctrines alchimiques, comme la Summa perfectionis de Geber, les traités attribués à Arnaud de Villeneuve, les œuvres de Guillaume Sedacer, Paracelse, Gérard Dorn, Evangelista Quattrami, Jacques Gohory, Michel Maier, Pierre-Jean Fabre, etc. Elle l’est aussi à travers l’étude de la représentation de l’alchimie et de son influence chez des philosophes ou savants eux-mêmes non alchimistes, tels Michel Savonarole, Marsile Ficin, André Thevet, Tycho Brahé, Giordano Bruno, Campanella, Naudé, ou Mersenne.

    Description: The book includes water protection areas near the pumping stations of drinkable water on Ljubljansko polje, consequently in the City municipality of Ljubljana and in the water protection area of the water plant Brest in the neighbouring municipality of Ig. The area of Ljubljansko barje was also included in the study.Water wells have, besides the basic function of preserving water, also an aesthetic and symbolic meaning. Many fountains in public and private use are true works of art, but that wasn't the main interest of our study. We concentrated mostly on private water wells and bores, which are not registered and therefore not supervised.
    Description: Knjiga celovito obravnava zasebne vodnjake in vrtine na območju Ljubljane, zlasti z vidika varovanja okolja in še posebej podzemne vode. Podrobno so preučena vodovarstvena območja ob črpališčih pitne vode na Ljubljanskem polju, torej v Mestni občini Ljubljana, ter na vodovarstvenem območju vodarne Brest v sosednji občini Ig. Vodnjake smo raziskali tudi na vmesnem Ljubljanskem barju. Vodnjaki imajo lahko poleg temeljne funkcije oskrbovanja z vodo tudi estetski in simbolni pomen. Osredotočili smo se izključno na zasebne vodnjake in vrtine, ki niso registrirani in so zato nenadzorovani. S podrobnim terenskim delom smo jih evidentirali 1686, od tega smo jih 1294 natančno popisali. Čeprav gre za študijo v konkretni slovenski pokrajini, je knjiga namenjena tudi tistim, ki bi se radi seznanili z metodologijo inventarizacije tovrstnih objektov in jo poskušali prenesti v drugo pokrajino.

    Description: On a parfois signalé que Deleuze était le seul de sa génération à se considérer comme strictement philosophe. Quand on lui a demandé dans quel genre pourrait rentrer Mille plateaux, entre archivistes, déconstructeurs et anthropologues, Deleuze a répondu : « philosophie, rien que de la philosophie, au sens traditionnel du mot ». C’est dans le même esprit qu’il comprend d’ailleurs la célèbre sentence foucauldienne, un jour, peut-être, le siècle sera deleuzien : « C’est peut-être cela que voulait dire Foucault : je n’étais pas le meilleur, mais le plus naïf, (…) le plus innocent (le plus dénué de culpabilité de “faire de la philosophie”). » C’est d’autant plus surprenant vu que certaines sources majeures de sa pensée expriment elles aussi une distance vis-à-vis de la philosophie - Nietzsche, qui se proclamait médecin ou psychologue de l’humanité ; Spinoza, qui attribuait si fréquemment un sens péjoratif à la notion, et qui a finalement intitulé son œuvre majeure Éthique, et non Philosophie. Mais d’une part, il ne faut pas oublier le retour des contemporains de Deleuze à la philosophie. Ainsi Foucault explique que dans la mesure où il s’occupe de la vérité, il doit être tenu pour philosophe. De même Derrida soutient que la limite du philosophique ne va jamais sans une certaine réaffirmation inconditionnelle.

    Description: The Serbs of Bela Krajina are one of the numerous local ethnolinguistic communities in Slovenia which are undergoing – as a consequence of major changes in their way of life emanating from the processes of modernisation and industrialisation, as well as due to changes in broader power relations – a process of language shift. This study was written with the aim of pointing out the significance and implications of the process of language shift both in the particular social, historic, and geographical context, as well as with regard to broader social processes. It simultaneously highlights the fact that the process of language shift employs the whole range of linguistic means. The process of language shift among the Serbs of Bela Krajina was approached from the perspective of language ideology, with a focus on language as one of the essential components of individual and group identity. These processes reveal the complex dynamics of social and linguistic changes and their interconnectedness, and show how deep the link is between the state-national and the local, between broader social processes and the ways in which local communities and their particular members rationalise, negotiate and justify their positions, roles, and strategies.
    Description: Srbi v Beli krajini predstavljajo eno izmed številnih lokalnih etnolingvističnih skupnosti, ki so se znašle v procesu zamenjave jezika pod vplivom pomembnih sprememb v načinu življenja, nastalih kot posledica industrializacije in modernizacije ter sprememb v širših odnosih moči. Delo izpostavlja pomen in implikacije procesa zamenjave jezika tako v konkretnem družbenem, zgodovinskem in geografskem kontekstu kot v okviru širših družbenih procesov, obenem pa kaže, kako v procesu zamenjave jezika nastopa cela vrsta jezikovnih sredstev, s katerimi govorci zagovarjajo svoje poglede in stališča.

    Description: A good knowledge of the natural and cultural heritage of karst is a precondition for the rational planning of life on it. We try to organize the knowledge to make it as useful as possible for planners. We are involved in individual projects related to the regional planning, water supply systems, the construction of transportation infrastructure, the closure of landfills in karst areas, the collection of data on karst caves and their protection, karst ecology and determining the extent of human influence on the karst underground. A new book series Karstology and development challenges on karst was designed to present the results of completed and new projects to a broader public.The first book with the subtitle Water contains selected directly applicable research studies on karst waters, their characteristics, endangerment, and protection. It is composed of ten chapters, which can be grouped into three main themes. In the introduction the importance, characteristics and vulnerability of karst aquifers are presented,then various case studies of pollution and endangerment are described (traffic, landfills, military objects, flooding), and at the end some guidelines for the protection of karst water sources are summarized. The book is a bilingual publication in Slovene and English. It is aimed at a broad circle of users, researchers, students and planners.
    Description: Dobro poznavanje naravne in kulturne dediščine krasa je pogoj za smiselno načrtovanje življenja na njem. Pridobljeno temeljno znanje skušamo krasoslovci urediti tako, da je kar čimbolj uporabno tudi načrtovalcem. Vključeni smo v posamezne projekte regionalnega načrtovanja, oskrbe z vodo, gradnje prometnic, zapiranja odlagališč na krasu, zbiranja podatkov o kraških jamah in njihovega varovanja, kraške ekologije in ugotavljanja človekovega vpliva na kras. Za predstavitev svežih izsledkov širši javnosti smo oblikovali serijo Krasoslovje v razvojnih izzivih na krasu. V prvi knjigi s podnaslovom Voda smo združili izbrane neposredno uporabne študije o kraških vodah, njihovih značilnostih, ogroženosti in varovanju. Sestavljena je iz desetih poglavij, ki jih lahko razdelimo v tri sklope. V uvodu so predstavljeni pomen, značilnosti in ranljivost kraških vodonosnikov, sledijo različni primeri ogroženosti kraških vod (prometnice, odlagališča odpadkov, vojaški objekti, poplave), na koncu pa je zbranih še nekaj smernic za varovanje kraških vodnih virov.

    Description: Si les relations des Regulae avec leurs sources antiques ou médiévales ont été bien traitées, leur mise en place dans l’environnement immédiat laisse à désirer. Pourquoi n’a-t-on jamais mis ce premier ouvrage de Descartes en relation avec les “Dialectiques” qui font du xvie siècle un “siècle logique”? Une documentation surabondante prouve que ces logiques renaissantes sont tombées dans les oubliettes de l’histoire. De multiples courants rendent très vivant le développement de ces ouvrages consacrés à l’invention, au jugement et à la méthode. Leurs profils deviennent forts apparents à qui les étudie. Or les Regulae, dont le profil typique exige la considération d’autres concepts que celui de méthode, épousent les schèmes conceptuels du ramisme, sans références à d’autres courants. D’où cette étude qui consiste à prendre pour point de référence la Dialectique française de La Ramée et à tendre l’axe critique et spéculatif qui ne cesse d’être tracé entre La Ramée et Descartes. Mais ce n’est pas là seulement une rétrospection créatrice : c’est aussi une nouvelle entrée dans la philosophie cartésienne de “la lumière naturelle”. Les œuvres mûres seront à reconsidérer sous cet éclairage.

    Description: Magdalenska gora pri Šmarju-Sapu na Dolenjskem predstavlja eno najpomembnejših arheoloških najdišč iz starejše železne dobe v jugovzhodnih Alpah. Najdbe in grobni sestavi iz tamkajšnjih gomilnih grobišč, ki jih hranijo muzeji v raznih državah (Narodni muzej Slovenije, Naturhistorisches Museum na Dunaju, Peabody Museum pri Harvardski univerzi v Cambridgeu v ZDA), ponujajo dober uvid v kulturne in družbene procese tistega časa. Skupaj s podatki o kontekstih so dragoceni vir za ugotavljanje družbene strukture in diferenciacije ter kulturne identitete.V knjigi so podrobneje razčlenjeni zasnova in širjenje grobišč, sestav pokopov v gomilah, oprave pokojnikov in grobni pridatki, ki govorijo o spremembah noše in grobnih ritualov v petstoletnem obdobju, o prežitkih starejše lokalne tradicije, o stiki z drugimi skupnostmi, o vpetosti v blagovno-menjalne tokove med Apeninskim polotokom, Alpami in zahodno Panonijo.V zaključnih poglavjih so orisani nastanek in dinamika razvoja te skupnosti, njen položaj in vloga v dolenjski poselitveni mreži in osvetljena vprašanja družbene organiziranosti, rodovne in vojaške hierarhije ter kultno-religiozne sfere.

    Description: The celebration of the 50th anniversary of regional policy in Slovenia and the 30th anniversary of the country's independence is an opportunity to assess the efforts made so far in promoting regional development as well as to look to the future. In the book, we look at the path taken, describe the system of promoting regional development in the past, and point to the success of regional policy in eliminating interregional disparities. We present the role of regional development agencies and regional spatial planning in regional development and the quality of life in border problem areas from the perspective of the people living there. In the final part, we focus on future development. We point out the role of digitalisation and demographic change and try to shed light on future developments also from a philosophical perspective. Demographic, climate, economic and social changes require new approaches, fresh ideas and, above all, a systematic identification of development guidelines, ideas, development opportunities and factors that, taken together, can lead to a more balanced development of the country in all areas. Harmonious development is everyone's responsibility, but we can only achieve it together.
    Description: Praznovanje 50. obletnice regionalne politike v Sloveniji in 30. obletnice neodvisnosti države je priložnost za oceno dosedanjih naporov pri spodbujanju regionalnega razvoja kot tudi za pogled v prihodnost. V knjigi se oziramo na prehojeno pot, opisujemo sistem spodbujanja regionalnega razvoja v preteklosti in kažemo na uspešnost regionalne politike pri odpravljanju medregionalnih razlik. Predstavljamo vlogo regionalnih razvojnih agencij in regionalnega prostorskega načrtovanja v regionalnem razvoju ter kakovost življenja v obmejnih problemskih območjih, kot jo dojemajo tam živeči prebivalci. V sklepnem delu se posvečamo prihodnjemu razvoju. Opozarjamo na vlogo digitalizacije in demografske spremembe, prihodnji razvoj pa skušamo osvetliti tudi s filozofske perspektive. Demografske, podnebne, gospodarske in družbene spremembe zahtevajo nove pristope, sveže ideje, predvsem pa sistematičnost v prepoznavanju razvojnih smernic, idej, razvojnih priložnosti in dejavnikov, ki bodo ob skupnem delovanju lahko vodili v bolj uravnotežen razvoj države na vseh področjih. Pri tem je skladen razvoj odgovornost vseh, dosežemo pa ga lahko le skupaj.

    Description: Within the framework of the basic research project The Župna cerkev Cemetery n Kranj, intended for the publication and research of materials from archaeological excavations of the eponymous burial ground, digital primary forms of archival sources are presented.[In Slovenian only] The first issue presents documentation of the 1953 excavation. The second one brings the files of graves, excavated in 1953, kept in The National Museum of Slovenia. The documentation of the 1964 to 1966 excavation is presented in the third book. In the fourth book is on field documentation of 1969 to 1973 excavation. Milan Sagadin, the excavator of the 1984 campaign, presents the field diary in the fifth issue. The anthropological diaries of the 1964 to 1973 excavations by Tone Pogačnik and Tatjana Tomazzo Ravnik are presented in the sixth book.
    Description: V okviru temeljnega raziskovalnega projekta Grobišče Župna cerkev v Kranju, ki je namenjen objavi in raziskavam gradiva iz arheoloških izkopavanj istoimenskega grobišča, v digitalni obliki predstavljamo primarne arhivske vire. Gre za tisto dokumentacijo, ki je nastala bodisi ob izkopavanjih in se je ohranila, bodisi pozneje na podlagi terenske dokumentacije in najdb, ki se niso ohranile. Grobišče Župna cerkev v Kranju ima preko 2500 arheološko raziskanih grobov iz časa od 7. st. do 18. st., zato se po velikosti in času trajanja neprekinjenega pokopavanja uvršča med največja srednjeveška grobišča v Evropi. Skoraj polovica teh grobov pripada zgodnjesrednjeveškemu obdobju. Gradivo obsega preko 1100 predmetov, za antropološko analizo je na voljo preko 700 okostij, ki jih hrani Gorenjski muzej v Kranju.V prvem zvezku predstavljamo grobišče, terenske dnevnike, katalog grobov in dnevnik meritev z izkopavanj leta 1953.

    Description: Je résumerai ce que j’ai proposé dans ce livre, et qui est en réalité fort simple. Nécros (Antiquité), faux mort ou fausse morte (Moyen Âge), mort imparfaite (Encyclopédie), mort clinique ou mort relative maintenant, montrent deux choses. La première c’est qu’on peut se tromper sur les apparences de la mort. La deuxième c’est que ce mort apparent est vivant et non pas mort, car il n’y a pas de vie du mort au sens empirique du terme, quoique la mort puisse être ou n’être pas au sens métaphysique. Or, ce qui complique et obscurcit tout, est la confusion ancestrale de ces survies sous l’apparence de mort, de cette manière de quatrième état de vie (une anesthésie naturelle en quelque sorte) avec une vie du mort, c’est-à-dire cette idée qu’il y a un « état de mort » comme il y a un état de vie (ou plutôt trois états de vie : veille, rêve et sommeil profond). Et que cet état de mort, que les Grecs désignaient par nécros, les superstitions médiévales par fantôme, revenant, est intermédiaire entre la vie et la négation complète et totale de la vie qu’est thanatos pour les Grecs ou, pour les chrétiens et les religions en général, la résurrection ou vie future. J’ai tenté de voir ce qu’il y de positif dans des analyses dont l’apparence est négative, idéologiquement fausse et irrationnelle.

    Description: This volume analyzes two natural landscape typologies of Slovenia using quantitative methods and data layers. Based on two existing manually outlined typologies, several modeled natural landscape typologies were then produced using selected data layers and different geo-information tools. The main part of the analysis is focused on studying the compatibility of the modeled and original natural landscape typologies and on how successfully the original typologies can be reproduced using numerical models. By comparing the models and originals, it was also possible to establish the locations of the types that have been classified (confirmed) the same by different methods and those that have not been confirmed by any model. In conclusion, the volume presents findings on the use of GIS for identifying natural landscape types in Slovenia and proposes specific procedures for classifying Slovenia or other areas into natural landscape types and procedures for their evaluation. This volume also presents examples of various regionalizations and typologies, and lists available digital data layers and geo-information tools that can be used to make various typologies.
    Description: V monografiji je predstavljena analiza dveh obstoječih naravnopokrajinskih tipizacij Slovenije z različnimi kvantitativnimi metodami in podatkovnimi sloji. V praktičnem delu raziskave smo s štirimi podatkovnimi sloji in različnimi geoinformacijskimi orodji na podlagi dveh obstoječih, ročno začrtanih tipizacij izdelali več modeliranih naravnopokrajinskih tipizacij. Osrednji del analize je namreč osredotočen na preučevanje usklajenosti modeliranih in izvirnih naravnopokrajinskih tipizacij oziroma na vprašanje, kako uspešno lahko izdelavo izvirnih tipizacij ponovimo s številskimi modeli. S primerjavo modelov in izvirnikov smo ugotovili, kje v Sloveniji so območja posameznih tipov, ki so po različnih metodah klasificirana (potrjena) enako, in kje so območja tipov, ki jih ni potrdil noben model. Na koncu so navedene tudi ugotovitve o uporabi GIS-ov za določanje naravnih pokrajinskih tipov Slovenije ter predlagani postopki tipizacije Slovenije ali drugih območij na naravne pokrajinske tipe in postopki za njihovo vrednotenje. V knjigi smo navedli tudi primere regionalizacij in tipizacij ter dostopne podatkovne sloje in orodja, s katerimi lahko izdelamo tipizacije.

    Description: The routes between the north Adriatic and the Apennine peninsula on the west and the Balkans and the central Danubian plains on the east ran across Razdrto ever since ancient times. In the late prehistory and in the early Roman era the pass of Razdrto was known under the name of Ocra as was the mountain above it.Several Bronze age sites were discovered in the area of the Razdrto pass.The posts in the Razdrto area from the end of the 2nd and first half of the 1st century BC (Mandrga, Preval) differ from the other sites along the east Alpine routes, as they were not spatially linked to any of the existing indigenous settlements and did not show any contact with the surroundings even with their small objects. Most of the remains can be explained as traces of Roman passengers who stopped at Razdrto for a shorter period of time and not as remnants of a significant Roman settlement.A gravel covered road was constructed across the Razdrto pass in the second half of the 1st century BC or in the Augustan period. A roadside building was erected in the middle or late Augustan period and demolished in the mid 1st century AD.The shift of transit from Razdrto to Hrušica (Ad Pirum) took place in the 1st century AD. Post 1st century AD written sources no longer mention the road across Ocra, and the archaeological remains dating after the mid 1st century AD are extremely modest at Razdrto.
    Description: Delo prinaša temeljno objavo in analizo arheoloških najdišč, ki so bila na območju Razdrtega odkrita in raziskana ob gradnji avtoceste leta 1989. Zaključek pa predstavlja rimske poti čez jugovzhodne Alpe in širši pomen arheoloških najdišč na Razdrtem.

    Description: Transport accessibility to jobs, education, supply, and public services, which are usually most concentrated in large regional centers, has an impact on lower economic costs (savings in time and energy consumption), greater social justice (better and more equal access to jobs and education), and lower pressures on the environment (reduction of harmful emissions and noise, and increased road safety). Transport accessibility as a spatial component affects the widest range of development opportunities in an area, and it should therefore represent a significant component of regional and spatial planning. This book presents the main features of transport accessibility to regional centers as the central pillars of regional and spatial structure in Slovenia. Attention is focused on addressing the situation in accessibility planning itself, followed by modeling geographic reality using spatial analyses in a geographic information system. Emphasis is placed on the state of spatial equilibrium of regional centers. This study also examines the spatial differences in their accessibility, the main reasons for these differences, and the correspondence between regional borders in various regionalization proposals for Slovenia and their centers’ borders of accessibility.
    Description: Knjiga obravnava poglavitne značilnosti prometne dostopnosti do regionalnih središč kot osrednjih nosilcev regionalno-prostorske strukture v Sloveniji. Prometna dostopnost kot prostorska komponenta vpliva na najširši spekter razvojnih možnosti nekega območja, zato bi morala predstavljati pomembno sestavino pri urejanju regij oziroma prostora. Pozornost je najprej usmerjena v preučitev stanja na področju načrtovanja dostopnosti, nato pa so s pomočjo prostorskih analiz v geografskem informacijskem sistemu modelirane razmere v geografski stvarnosti.     Description: The Alps are one of the most sensitive regions in Europe, and their future development represents a challenge that demands the cooperation of various experts, the business world, politics, and society, as well as the people living there. The Interreg IIIB project DIAMONT, which took place from 2005 to 2008, also addressed Alpine developmental challenges. This monograph presents the basic results of the project, supported by the broader theoretical framework of regional and sustainable development. We first present the cultural differences in the Alps and their influence on sustainable regional development. This is followed by the results of a Delphi analysis, which helped reveal the basic development tendencies in the Alps, and then we discuss appropriate indicators for regional development and harmonizing data. Attention is then dedicated to regional development instruments and the participative process, which is essential for attaining truly sustainable development. Finally, we present a Slovenian perspective on these issues.
    Description: Alpe so eno najbolj občutljivih območij v Evropi. Njihov razvoj predstavlja izziv, ki zahteva sodelovanje stroke, predstavnikov gospodarskega, političnega in družbenega življenja ter prebivalcev. Z razvojnimi izzivi Alp se je spopadel tudi Interregov IIIB projekt DIAMONT, ki je potekal med letoma 2005 in 2008. V monografiji so predstavljeni njegovi bistveni rezultati. Najprej so prikazane kulturne razlike v Alpah in njihov vpliv na trajnostni regionalni razvoj, sledijo rezultati delfi analize, ki je pomagala izluščiti bistvene razvojne smernice v Alpah, nato pa je izpostavljena problematika primernih kazalnikov regionalnega razvoja ter harmonizacije podatkov. Marqué du sceau de l’ambivalence, il a quelque chose de magique : porteur de vie et de mort, le sang signe les saisons du corps féminin et annonce la mort quand il sourd de la blessure du guerrier : il est le baromètre de la vie qui dit aussi la parenté. Clé de compréhension des cultures antiques, considéré au travers d’un large cadre géographique et chronologique, le sang offre une lecture tant historique qu’anthropologique des corps. Plusieurs dimensions ont été retenues : les pouvoirs du sang réels ou supposés, le sang vecteur de communication, le sang communautaire qui dit la filiation et l’appartenance du groupe et enfin la violence qui le fait couler. C’est une histoire du sensible qui est menée ici par le liquide biologique vital, par la couleur, celle du sang rouge ou noir, de la pourpre. C’est aussi une histoire sociale car, par le sang c’est la transmission, la descendance et la filiation, la souillure, la pureté, les rites que l’on observe ; c’est encore une histoire de la guerre, du crime et de la justice.

    Description: This volume (‘The role of part-time farms in the transformation of the urban fringe’) discusses the role of part-time farms in the economic, environmental and spatial transformation of the urban fringe. On the basis of the sample of Slovene suburban farms, the impact level of the proximity of workplaces on the mobility of the agricultural workforce was determined. It was also determined if socio-economic characteristics of suburban agricultural economies reflect in the characteristics of farm management and in the environment. This consequently stresses the role of part-time farms in the strengthening of multi-layered agriculture.
    Description: Knjiga obravnava vlogo polkmetij v gospodarski, okoljski in prostorski preobrazbi obmestij. Geografski, sociološki in ekonomski vidiki polkmetij so bili že raziskani in so povzeti v prvem delu knjige. Sledi predstavitev raziskave slovenskih obmestnih kmetij, s katero avtorica ugotavlja, kakšen je vpliv bližine trga delovnih mest na mobilnost kmečke delovne sile, ali se socialno-ekonomske značilnosti obmestnih kmetijskih gospodarstev odražajo v značilnostih gospodarjenja in posledično v prostoru ter kakšna je vloga polkmetij pri krepitvi večnamenske vloge kmetijstva.Rezultati so pokazali, da je kmetijstvo na večini kmetij le stranska dejavnost, stopnja urbanizacije območja, kjer je določena kmetija, pa pri tem, nekoliko presenetljivo, nima statistično pomembne vloge. S podrobno analizo vzorčnih obmestnih kmetij je bilo ugotovljeno, da so polkmetije glede na površino obdelovalnih zemljišč manjše od čistih, struktura njihovega gospodarjenja je prostorsko bolj razdrobljena in prispeva k večji pokrajinski pestrosti. V zadnjem delu knjige so predstavljeni tudi rezultati vrednotenja večnamenske vloge kmetijstva po posameznih socialno-ekonomskih tipih kmetij.

    Okoljsko poročilo z dodatkom za širitev igrišča za golf v Lipici (2022)

    Description: The plan of spatial arrangement, which was given to us by the real estate developer to asses (environmental report and the estimation of the susceptibility of impacts on protected areas), deals with 80 hectars of the north-western part of Lipica Stud Farm, which covers the area of the existing golf course as well as the area of its foreseen expansion. We tried to establish, describe and evaluate all the important aspects of plan realization, taking into consideration all of the environmental goals and area characteristics based on the different segments of the environment. A major impact would be seen only in the potentially special protected area of Kras, more precisely on the group of beetles, among which we stress “Morimus funereus” as the qualification bird species of Natura 2000. We suggested the exclusion of 17 hectars of the area from further operations and the establishment of the new distribution of some individual golf-fields. The improved suggestion incorporates the exclusion of a stripe of the western part of the area in question, where there is a habitat of Morimus funereus. This change would also mean the preservation of fossile sites and of maple forests.
    Description: Načrt prostorskih ureditev obravnava 80 hektarjev severozahodnega dela Kobilarne Lipica, kjer sta obstoječe igrišče za golf in območje njegove predvidene razširitve. Ugotavljali, ovrednotili in opisali smo pomembne vplive izvedbe načrta, pri čemer smo po različnih segmentih okolja upoštevali okoljske cilje in značilnosti območja. Ob razširitvi igrišča bi bil opaznejši vpliv le na potencialno posebno ohranitveno območje Kras, in sicer na skupino hroščev, med katerimi je kot kvalifikacijska vrsta Nature 2000 izpostavljen bukov kozliček (Morimus funereus). Zato smo iz nadaljnjih posegov predlagali izločitev območja, velikega 17 ha. Popravljen predlog upošteva izločitev območja na zahodu obravnavanega območja, kjer je habitat bukovega kozlička, s to spremembo pa bi zavarovali tudi nahajališča fosilov in lepo ohranjene javorove gozdove.

    Description: Ce recueil de conférences dédié à la mémoire d’Yvette Conry aborde le problème du toucher sous l’angle – les angles, faudrait-il dire – de l’histoire des idées : philosophie et histoire des sciences y recoupent leurs trajectoires. Au départ du livre figurent Hippocrate et Aristote selon lesquels l’homme est, des êtres vivants, celui qui bénéficie du sens du toucher le plus subtil. L’Antiquité Tardive insiste sur l’aspect à la fois physiologique et moral, selon une perspective où le salut de l’homme entre en jeu. Condillac ensuite : le toucher est-il le principe unique susceptible de doter le sensualisme de la seule systématicité fondée en raison ? La conclusion est donnée par la phénoménologie et Merleau-Ponty, qui médite sur le « je ne réussis pas tout à fait à me toucher touchant ». Donc un recueil volontairement éclectique, qui balaie de quelques coups de projecteur le vaste champ du toucher et évoque quelques réponses.

    Description: Monitoring the transformation of the Slovene countryside revealed that there are relatively heavily urbanized flatland and valley areas, and on the other, peripheral areas where depopulation and the disintegration of the cultural landscape are increasingly pronounced.For the evaluation of the countryside and its typological division, objective criteria are selected that reflect the natural conditions, the principal characteristics of agriculture, and the fundamental demographic, economic, functional, housing, infrastructural, and environmental conditions. Overall, the evaluation is based on the level of individual settlements which enables thorough spatial differentiation. A complex evaluation is carried out by establishing the value and representation of individual groups of parameters and their corresponding weights. On the basis of partial syntheses, two synthetic maps of developmental movements in the countryside are presented that provide a solid foundation in the effort to ensure harmonious regional development.
    Description: V knjigi so predstavljeni rezultati poskusa celovitega vrednotenja stopnje razvitosti zunaj mestnih območij v Sloveniji. Obravnava tudi temeljna vprašanja regionalnega razvoja Slovenije in s tem problematiko preobrazbe slovenskega podeželja kot enega odločilnih dejavnikov vključevanja v evropske integracijske tokove. Za vrednotenje so izbrani objektivni kriteriji, ki odražajo naravne razmere, glavne značilnosti kmetijstva ter temeljne demografske, gospodarske, funkcijske, infrastrukturne in okoljske razmere. Izbor kazalnikov je postavljen na raven posameznih naselij, kar omogoča temeljito prostorsko diferenciacijo. Kompleksno vrednotenje je izvedeno z ugotavljanjem vrednosti in zastopanosti posameznih skupin parametrov ter z njihovim ustreznim ponderiranjem. Na podlagi delnih sintez sta variantno predstavljena dva sintetična zemljevida stopnje razvitosti podeželja, ki sta soliden temelj v prizadevanjih za zagotavljanje skladnega regionalnega razvoja.

    Description: L’Utopie de Thomas More, référence originaire de l’utopie, se revendique platonicienne. Le fait est pourtant que la description détaillée de la forme achevée d’Utopie, en ne séparant plus l’essence intelligible de l’existence sensible, du coup immédiatement déterminée en vérité, présente une tout autre ontologie. L’indétermination utopique est alors fondamentalement dans la position imaginaire de cette cité parfaite supposée sans condition effective, ce qu’exprime spécialement le caractère « oblique » de l’écriture, et cela invite à revenir en contre-point sur le sens propre de l’« atopie » socratique. C’est dans cette perspective que l’ouvrage examine les éléments constitutifs de l’essence utopique : principalement le plaisir, le communisme, le travail et les lois, ou encore le mal et l’histoire. Le pivot de l’Utopie est l’humanitas qui, ancrée dans l’Infini divin, rend parfaite la Terre des hommes. L’ouvrage s’efforce en conséquence d’y rapporter les déplacements et les mutations qui, dans la tradition platonicienne comme dans sa critique, peuvent aider à comprendre le passage des Dialogues à l’Utopie. Son enjeu plus général est d’en dégager des utopismes, en particulier matérialistes, et ce du Fini à l’Infini.

Or l’examen des différents discours théoriques sur le droit montre qu’il n’en est rien. Le livre de Charlotte Girard analyse précisément les différences de traitement du rapport entre ces deux termes dans les discours théoriques juridiques, en particulier ceux qui posent la question du fondement du droit. Soit l’étude des droits fondamentaux se distingue de celle du fondement du droit - les droits fondamentaux ne mènent pas naturellement au fondement du droit -, soit on associe les deux notions - les droits fondamentaux sont au fondement même du droit. Or cette distinction renvoie à ce que la théorie du droit différencie traditionnellement : les approches juspositiviste d’une part et jusnaturaliste d’autre part. La confrontation de ces discours théoriques à la question du fondement du droit, qu’elle se traduise ou non par les droits fondamentaux, révèle une certaine fragilité des présupposés respectifs de ces discours. En réalité, le fondement du droit n’est pas seulement un élément de débat juridique et normatif, mais il relève aussi et surtout d’un débat politique et institutionnel. C’est en effet en raison de son caractère normatif que le fondement du droit - quel que soit le discours qui le porte, y compris le discours juridique théorique - appartient pleinement au champ politique.

The subject of this publication is the preserved parts of the third, ninth, and tenth notary fascicles from the Piran Branch Office of the Regional Archives of Koper. The fragments contain the models of documents created in the period 1284–1296. The authors of summaries in the preserved fragments of notary fascicles are Facina Grimaldi, Facina (Vitali?) and Francisscus de Malonbris.
    Description: Šesti zvezek piranskih notarskih knjig prinaša znanstveno-kritično objavo ohranjenih fragmentov treh notarskih knjig iz edinstvenega gradiva piranske izpostave Pokrajinskega arhiva Koper. Gre za dele tretje, devete in desete knjige. Prvi vsebuje 255, drugi 22 in tretji 422 skrčenih latinskih predlog notarskih listin iz razdobja 1284 do 1296. Vpisi v notarskih knjigah so pestrih vsebin in slikajo gospodarsko, družbeno in vsakdanje življenje v Piranu in okolici, nudijo podatke o prebivalstvu, njegovi etnični pripadnosti, o historični topografiji, pravni praksi itd. Kulturna dediščina notarskih knjig vpenja slovensko primorje v širši mediteranski prostor, ki ga je odlikovala praksa vodenja notarskih kodeksov. Objava vsebuje uvodno študijo, prepise izvirnikov, ki so opremljeni z datacijami, oznakami vsebin in opombami, ter imenski, pojmovni seznam in seznam vsebin vpisov. Ta pomagala olajšujejo uporabniku razumevanje in orientacijo v latinskem delu besedila. Uvodna študija, pojasnila k prepisom ter seznama pojmov in vsebin so – v želji spodbuditi širši krog uporabnikov k raziskavam preteklosti severozahodne Istre – prevedeni tudi v angleščino.

Geografski informacijski sistemi pri nas tako niso več novost. Vsakdo, ki se danes na kakršenkoli način ukvarja s prostorom, skoraj gotovo uporablja tovrstno tehnologijo. Mladostno obdobje geografskih informacijskih sistemov v Sloveniji je torej mimo, kar kaže tudi pričujoča knjiga.

    Description: Slovenia is endangered by floods. Frequent intensive rainfall and heavy rains, a large proportion of mountainous and hilly regions, and numerous populated narrow valley bottoms are the primary reasons for this threat. Floods endanger about seventy thousand hectares of lowlands, and torrential flooding endangers a further three thousand hectares. Due to this enormous threat, Slovenia has more than one hundred years of experience in the field of flood prevention, while only more recently has the awareness developed in the European Union that flood prevention is cheaper in the long run than simply dealing with the consequences of floods. This fact is reflected in the increasing number of laws passed to deal with this danger, and for this purpose maps of flood hazard and flood risk are very important and are presented in the book.
    Description: V knjigi je predstavljen geografski pogled na zapleteno problematiko poplav, poplavnih območij v kontekstu medsebojno prepletenih naravno- in družbenogeografskih procesov, ki potekajo v konkretni pokrajini oziroma prostoru. S takšnim pristopom so poplave in poplavna območja obravnavani kot pomembne sestavine pokrajine, sestavni deli izjemno kompleksnih součinkovanj in povratnih učinkov. Te bi morali nujno poznati in v vsakdanjem življenju upoštevati zlasti pri načrtovanju posegov v prostor, ki si ga poplavne vode pogosto neusmiljeno prisvajajo. V preteklosti se je človek poplavnim območjem izogibal, v sodobnosti pa na to pogosto pozablja. Poplave so poleg potresov najhujše naravne ujme v Sloveniji, ki nam povzročajo ogromno gmotno škodo in včasih jemljejo tudi človeška življenja. Zaradi silovite dinamike in nenadnega pojavljanja jih ne moremo preprečiti, lahko pa se nanje ustrezno pripravimo.

    Description: The in depth archaeological research of High Medieval castle presented in this book is unique in Slovenia and among just few in this part of Central Europe. The book is based on analysis of the archaeological data gathered in more than a decade of archaeological excavations in 1980s and 1990s.In the introductory chapter written sources and interpretative models are presented. The analysis of pictorial representations follows. The focus of the research is on the archaeological sources, though. Above all the analysis of the small finds, stratigraphy and spatial analysis of the castle itself and the castle in the landscape should be mentioned.
    Description: Knjiga je prva znanstvena monografija o arheologiji visoko srednjeveškega gradu v Sloveniji in se uvršča med le peščico tovrstnih knjig v širšem prostoru. Monografija sloni predvsem na analizi podatkov iz desetletja arheoloških izkopavanj v 80. in 90. letih 20. stoletja. V začetnem delu so predstavljeni pisni viri in interpretativni modeli v zvezi z nastankom in pomenom gradu. Sledi prikaz maloštevilnih, a nikakor ne nepomembnih slikovnih virov. Glavnino študije predstavljajo arheološki viri, predvsem priročniško uporabna tipokronološka analiza artefaktov, stratigrafija najdišča in prostorska analiza gradu.

    Description: The book presents a wealth of historical cartographic representations of Slovenian territory. It is divided into two main parts. The first or the text part briefly presents the history of European cartography up to the end of the nineteenth century, maps of the Slovenian territory up to the early twentieth century and maps as cultural heritage. In the second or cartographic part, in turn, features important historical maps of the Slovenian territory presented in chronological order. The format of the book enables an excellent presentation of the presented maps. The maps presented date from the mid-sixteenth century, when the first independent maps of present-day Slovenia were produced, to the beginning of the twentieth century, when cartography developed into a modern discipline. The aim of this book is to present the extensive Slovenian cartographic heritage.
    Description: Monografija predstavlja bogastvo zgodovinskih kartografskih upodobitev slovenskega ozemlja. Razdeljena je na besedilni in slikovni del. V besedilnem delu so predstavljeni zgodovina evropske kartografije do konca 19. stoletja, kartografski prikazi slovenskega ozemlja do začetka 20. stoletja ter zemljevidi kot kulturna dediščina. Slikovni del monografije pa prinaša kronološki prikaz pomembnejših zgodovinskih zemljevidov slovenskega ozemlja. Format knjige omogoča odličen prikaz zemljevidov od srede 16. stoletja, ko so nastala prva samostojna kartografska dela današnjega slovenskega ozemlja, do začetka 20. stoletja, ko se kartografija razvije v sodobno vedo.     Description: « C’est ainsi que l’on crée un joyau ! » s’exclame euphoriquement le personnage central de La Main heureuse, manifestant par là son émerveillement devant sa mystérieuse faculté de créer, sans effort, sans peine, comme spontanément, sous la dictée du génie. Métaphoriquement, l’œuvre participe en effet chez Schoenberg au questionnement nodal, mené tout au long de sa vie, de l’origine évanescente de la création artistique. Mais si, vers 1910, le compositeur fait une absolue confiance à l’inconscient génial, il en vient peu à peu à nuancer sa position pour reconnaître puis revendiquer la participation de la conscience et de la volonté. Ce livre se propose à son tour d’interroger l’énigmatique avènement de l’œuvre d’art, les conditions à la fois historiques, biographiques, intellectuelles et esthétiques de son apparition. Et c’est précisément La Main heureuse, œuvre à travers laquelle Schoenberg avait scruté l’énigme de l’origine, qui constitue le medium de cette étude. Si l’invention artistique est bien le propre d’un esprit individuel, capable de donner une forme unique à un matériau-anciennement ou nouvellement constitué – l’œuvre est loin d’être le fruit d’une génération spontanée ; elle se nourrit tant du terreau que lui fournit la collectivité humaine – « l’air du temps » – que des mythes et archétypes, ou de l’histoire personnelle de son créateur. Ainsi toutes les forces de la collectivité humaine sont engagées au côté du créateur lui-même, et parfois même, à son insu, dans la naissance de l’œuvre d’art. C’est ce qui justifie la participation à notre étude de nombreuses disciplines intellectuelles : musicologie, littérature, histoire, philosophie, poïétique... toutes croisant leurs éclairages pour tenter de cerner au plus près, à partir du cas particulier que constitue La Main heureuse, les multiples conditions de cet avènement. Le livre s’adresse de ce fait tout autant à des musicologues qu’à des lecteurs moins spécialisés, mais intéressés par l’inscription de l’art dans l’activité humaine en général ou, plus spécifiquement, dans un moment de culture.

    Description: Razprava je nastala v okviru mednarodnega projekta »Zamolčani holokavst: spomin na deportacijo prekmurskih Judov« ter je izčrpen prikaz ene najbolj groznih in žalostnih epizod sodobne svetovne in slovenske zgodovine. Besedilo je razdeljeno na dva dela, in sicer opis priprav in izvedbo »največjega organiziranega zločina v zgodovini civilizacije« ter predstavitev prizorišč tega zločina na slovenskih tleh. V prvem delu avtor osvetli okoliščine, zaradi katerih je do holokavsta in genocida nad slovanskimi narodi sploh prišlo oziroma zakaj in kako sta iz obrobnih ekstremističnih fašističnih in nacističnih idej vzniknila kar dva totalitarna imperija in kako sta človeštvo pripeljala do največje katastrofe v zgodovini. V drugem delu je podrobno predstavljeno dogajanje na slovenskih tleh, s poudarkom na Prekmurju, kjer so do leta 1944 delovale tri dobro organizirane in za pokrajino izjemno pomembne judovske skupnosti. Abstraktna in težko predstavljiva tragičnost druge svetovne vojne je tako predstavljena skozi konkretne usode pregnanih in skozi zgodbe o tistih, ki se niso nikoli vrnili.

    Description: V vodniku je predstavljenih devet ekskurzij s severozahodnega dela slovenskega zamejskega prostora. Razvrščene so v obratni smeri urinega kazalca. Šest območij obiska (Ziljska dolina, Beljak z okoliškimi jezeri, Karavanke in Rož, Celovec in Gosposvetsko polje, južna pobočja Svinške planine in Velikovško čezdravje, Podjuna) v sodobnosti še lahko obravnavamo kot narodnostno mešana območja, dve območji (Labotska dolina, zgodovinski kraji severne Koroške) sta zaradi germanizacije ta status izgubili, območje pogorja Nockberge pa je že dolgo onstran severnega roba slovenskega narodnostnega ozemlja. Celotna avstrijska zvezna dežela Koroška se ponaša z bogato naravno, zgodovinsko in kulturno dediščino. Prežeta je z izrazitimi naravnimi lepotami, med katerimi lahko izpostavimo gore in jezera, pa tudi kulturnozgodovinskimi, kamor lahko uvrstimo privlačna stara mestna jedra, prvovrstno cerkveno dediščino ter slikovite, praviloma zelo dobro ohranjene gradove in skrbno vzdrževane grajske razvaline. Glavni sezoni sta pozimi, ko zaživijo prostrana smučišča, in poleti, ko se turisti preusmerijo k obalam tamkajšnjih, za avstrijske razmere zelo toplih jezer.

    Description: Most na Soči ranks among the most prominent prehistoric sites in Europe. It is mainly known for the extensive cemetery from the Early Iron Age, which was first investigated in the late 19th century and revealed over 6000 burials. The rapid growth of the modern village of Most na Soči again led to large-scale archaeological excavations in the 1970s. These were conducted in the span of eleven years and unearthed one of the most significant Iron Age settlements in Slovenia and the wider south-eastern Alpine region.
    Description: Most na Soči sodi med najpomembnejša prazgodovinska najdišča Evrope. Znano je postalo zlasti po veliki nekropoli iz starejše železne dobe, ki so jo raziskovali ob koncu devetnajstega stoletja in na kateri so izkopali čez 6000 grobov.Hiter razvoj kraja je v sedemdesetih letih prejšnjega stoletja vzpodbudil ponovna arheološka izkopavanja. Trajala so enajst let, v tem času pa je bilo na območju današnje vasi temeljito raziskano eno najpomembnejših železnodobnih naselij ne le pri nas temveč tudi na širšem jugovzhodnoalpskem prostoru.Na začetku monografije je podan geografski oris kraja, temu pa sledi izčrpna zgodovina raziskovanj, ki ji je dodan seznam dosedanjih objav.V osrednjem delu knjige so predstavljeni gradbeni izvidi šestintridesetih hiš, ki so bile odkrite v vzhodnem predelu današnjega Mosta na Soči.Besedilo spremlja 229 načrtov in fotografij, ki odlično dopolnjujejo detajlne opise objektov.V zadnjem delu monografije je na sto tablah predstavljeno drobno gradivo, ki je bilo najdeno v stavbah.

    Description: This popular-science publication describes the pile-dwellings of the Ljubljansko barje, which were created in the first half of the 5th millennium BC. However, when the lake was completely overgrown with swamps and marshes (at the latest around the middle of the 2nd millennium), the construction of such settlements stopped. From then on, new settlements were built on the outskirts of the lake banks, where the fields were previously. There they also farmed livestock such as cattle, sheep, goats and pigs. They were accompanied by dogs. Hunting and fishing were also important economic activities~they harvested fruits in the forests. They made pottery vessels. Findings of copper and metallurgical articles, however, prove that at least since the 4th millennium BC they were engaged in copper metallurgy. Logboats were used to navigate the lake and in the second half of the 4th millennium even for routes outside the Ljubljansko barje. In short, they were very resourceful and were able to adapt well to the environment in which they lived.Only in Slovenian
    Description: Knjiga na poljuden način opisuje kolišča Ljubljanskega barja, ki so nastala okvirno v prvi polovici 5. tisočletja pr. Kr. Ko pa sta takratno jezero v celoti prerasla močvirje in barje (najpozneje okoli sredine 2. tisočletja), se je gradnja takšnih naselij ustavila. Odtlej so nova bivališča gradili na trdinskem obrobju, kjer so bile dotlej njive. Tam so se koliščarji ukvarjali tudi z rejo domačih živali, kot so govedo, ovce, koze in svinje. Spremljali so jih psi. Pomembni gospodarski dejavnosti sta bili tudi lov in ribolov. V skoraj nedotaknjeni pokrajini so nabirali gozdne sadeže. Izdelovali so keramične posode. Najdbe predmetov iz bakra in metalurških pripomočkov pa dokazujejo, da so se vsaj od 4. tisočletja pr. Kr. dalje ukvarjali tudi z metalurgijo bakra. Za plovbo po jezeru so uporabljali drevake, ki so jih dolbli iz ogromnih hrastovih debel. V drugi polovici 4. tisočletja pa so za poti zunaj Ljubljanskega barja uporabljali tudi vozove. Skratka, bili so zelo iznajdljivi in so se znali dobro prilagoditi na okolje, v katerem so živeli.

    Description: The Auerspergs [Turjaški] are among the rare noble families in the Slovenian territory with systematically preserved archives that date back to the Middle Ages. Most archival materials of the family, which was largely embedded in the framework of the Province of Carniola until the end of the 15th century, are presently kept in two private family archives: the Turjak Comital Fideicomiss Archives (Gräflich Auersperg'sches Fideikommisarchiv), first kept in the Turjak Castle until 1942 and now in the Carinthian Provincial Archives in Klagenfurt, and the Turjak Ducal Archives (Fürstlich Auersperg'sches Archiv), which were first moved to the Turjak Palace in Ljubljana and the Lower Austrian Lösensteinleiten Castle and finally ended up in the Viennese Haus-, Hof-, und Staatsarchiv.Turjaška knjiga listin 1 (1218–1400) [Turjak Book of Charters I (1218–1400)] contains 277 charters from the private archives of the Carniolan comital and ducal lines of the Auerspergs [Turjaški]. Published in their entirety, the charters are equipped with Slovenian regests and followed in the end by a comprehensive index of names and pictures of seals from the charters. With the publication of the Turjak charters, Slovenian historiography has gained an indispensable aid for the research of Slovenian medieval and modern history.
    Description: V Turjaški knjigi listin I (1218–1400) je objavljeno 277 listin iz zasebnih arhivov kranjske grofovske in knežje linije Turjaških (Auerspergov), ki so jih v sklopu grajskega arhiva do leta 1942 hranili na gradu Turjak, danes pa so shranjene izven slovenskega ozemlja. Listine so objavljene v celoti, opremljene so s slovenskimi regesti, ob koncu pa sledijo še obsežno imensko kazalo in slike pečatov z listin. Pripravljena izdaja turjaških listin sega do leta 1400 in je prvi del serije, v kateri bodo v končni fazi objavljene vse, tudi novoveške turjaške listine. Slovensko zgodovinopisje bo z objavo turjaških listin pridobilo nepogrešljiv pripomoček za raziskovanje slovenske srednjeveške in novoveške zgodovine.

    Description: This volume discusses various aspects of planning public transport in the Ljubljana Urban Region, in which it highlights the cooperation between Ljubljana as a metropolis and its functionally connected countryside. After studying the basic social processes that guide development in this region, such as centralization and suburbanization, it focuses on traffic and public transport in this region. It analyzes the traffic flows, road use, and commuting, and dedicates special attention to commuting times. Suitable measures and best-practice examples are presented for the cases of unsustainable mobility that were indentified, especially with regard to improving spatial and temporal accessibility and transfer points in the public transport network. Proposals for integrating spatial and transport planning were developed, and ideas about drafting the development of public passenger transport in the selected corridor in the Ljubljana Urban Region were presented.
    Description: Knjiga obravnava različne vidike urejanja javnega potniškega prometa v Ljubljanski urbani regiji, pri čemer je izpostavljeno sodelovanje Ljubljane kot metropole in njenega funkcijsko povezanega zaledja. Po preučitvi temeljnih družbenih procesov, ki usmerjajo razvoj v obravnavani regiji, kot na primer centralizacija in suburbanizacija, smo se osredotočili na promet in javni potniški promet v regiji. Analizirali smo prometne tokove, obremenjenost cest in dnevno mobilnost, posebno pozornost smo posvetili časovni dostopnosti do prebivalcev in delovnih mest. Za zaznane primere netrajnostne mobilnosti smo skušali najti primerne ukrepe in vzorčne dobre prakse, zlasti na področju izboljšanja prostorske in časovne dostopnosti ter prestopnih točk javnega potniškega prometa. Izdelali smo predloge za integracijo prostorskega in prometnega načrtovanja, predstavili pa smo tudi ideje o zasnovi razvoja javnega potniškega prometa na izbranem koridorju v Ljubljanski urbani regiji.

    Description: In this book are published folktales and legends from Porabje / Rába-vidék which were recorded in 1970 by Milko Matičetov on magnetic tapes. The material has been for many decades stored in the archive of the Institute of Slovenian Ethnology ZRC SAZU in Ljubljana. It was only with the help of the experts from Porabje, well-versed in these dialects, that it was possible to publish the recordings.Presented are 238 narrative units, transcribed from tapes in a simplified dialectal transcript. All of the texts are also published in the standard Slovenian language. Two narratives are transcribed in the phonetic dialectological transcription. Added is CD with the recordings of 13 folktales in both varieties of Rába dialect (from Apátistvánfalva and Felsoszölnök district). The introductory section includes studies addressing the development of the narrative culture of Slovenes in Porabje, their language and brief history, as well as a presentation of the storytellers who had narrated these folktales and legends to Milko Matičetov. The folktales have been included in the international database, in accordance with the existing scientific international typology, and are therefore available for further comparative research. This book preserves narrative tradition of Slovenes in Rába-vidék, and is of particular importance to young people, who often no longer speak in the vernacular language.
    Description: V knjigi so zbrane porabske pravljice in povedke, ki jih je leta 1970 posnel Milko Matičetov na magnetofonske trakove. Gradivo je več desetletij neobjavljeno ležalo v arhivu Inštituta za slovensko narodopisje ZRC SAZU v Ljubljani. Šele s pomočjo porabskih strokovnjakov, ki narečne govore dobro poznajo in obvladajo, jih je bilo mogoče pripraviti za natis. Predstavljenih je 238 pripovednih enot, prepisanih v poenostavljeno narečno transkripcijo in prestavljenih v knjižno slovenščino. Vsa besedila so objavljena tudi v knjižnem jeziku, dve pripovedi pa sta kot primer prepisani v fonetični dialektološki transkripciji. Dodana je zgoščenka s tonskimi posnetki trinajstih pravljic in povedk v obeh različicah porabskega narečja (števanovskem in gornjeseniškem). V uvodnem delu so spremne študije, v katerih je predstavljen razvoj pripovedne kulture porabskih Slovencev, njihov jezik ter pripovedovalci, ki so Milku Matičetovemu pripovedovali pravljice in povedke. Opozorjeno je na razlike med posameznimi krajevnimi govori, na koncu pa je dodan še slovarček porabskega besedja in povezava na mednarodne pravljičnime tipe.

    Description: If the term “prehistory” is used for the time and space not “seen” by written records, then there are “prehistoric” areas also in the time, which is generally considered “history”. In this sense, there are still vast areas of Europe in the early medieval period, where the state of written records can be described as “prehistoric”. It appears to be true especially for the regions settled by the Slavs. Among them is the area of the present-day Slovenia, where Bled lies. The latter does not “enter the history” before 1004.
    Description: Če izraz »prazgodovina« uporabimo za čas in prostor, ki ga pisni viri ne »vidijo«, potem imamo ozemlja, ki so »prazgodovinska« tudi v času, ki sicer splošno velja za »zgodovino«. V tem pomenu še vedno obstajajo v Evropi v času zgodnjega srednjega veka obširna ozemlja, kjer stanje pisnih virov lahko opišemo kot prazgodovinsko. Še posebej velja to za ozemlja, ki so jih naseljevali Slovani. Mednje spada tudi današnja Slovenija, kjer leži Bled. Ta »stopi v zgodovino« šele leta 1004.

    Description: Kalejdoskop goriške preteklosti, zgodbe o spominu in pozabi ('Kaleidoscope of the Past - Memories and Forgotten Stories from the Border') is a story about lives of the people living along the Slovenian-Italian border. In this area, the idea of the border is manifold, it is a state border, a territorial border, a temporal border between what had happened and the interpretations of past events today. The author discusses the divisive past and the seemingly uniting present permeating the area. She tells a story about the city Gorica, to which both Italians and Slovenians lay claims, a story about the struggle for redemption and freedom, about people who stroll along the same river, shop in the same shops and eat indulge similar cuisines. Still, they manage to retain a thin line of differentiation, a mentally construed abyss invariantly fortifying the distance. Since 2007, the border is visually gone yet it remains the criterion of spatial differentiation and identity formation, the founding stone of respective communities.
    Description: Kalejdoskop goriške preteklosti pripoveduje o odnosih in življenju ljudi ob meji. Meja je tu razumljena večplastno, kot državna meja, prostorska meja, časovna meja med tem, kar se je zgodilo, in današnjim pomenom teh dogodkov. Delo razpravlja o preteklosti, ki ta prostor deli, in sedanjosti, ki vsaj na videz ta prostor združuje. Pripoveduje o mestu Gorica, ki si ga lastijo pripadniki obeh nacionalnih skupnosti, o borbi za odrešitev in svobodo, o odnosu med ljudmi, ki se sprehajajo ob isti reki, kupujejo v istih trgovinah in jedo podobne jedi, pri tem pa ohranjajo tanko linijo medsebojne različnosti, miselno konstruiran prepad, ki med njimi zaradi drugačnosti utrjuje distanco. Meja, ki je iz pokrajine vizualno izginila decembra 2007, ostaja kriterij prostorskega ločevanja in oblikovanja identitete, ki upravičuje obstoj posamezne skupnosti.

En s’appuyant sur la tradition philosophique du pragmatisme américain, intégrée à la théorie critique et le tocquevilleanisme, il développe une théorie sociale de la démocratie. Ce faisant, ce livre nous aide à mieux comprendre la signification, la portée et l’étendue du projet démocratique.
