Their work with historical sources, the foundation stone of research, is combined with ethical and aesthetic decision-making, which forms an indisputable part of their work. This is often surprising - both for the readers and themselves. It represents a great intellectual adventure. They cannot invent sources or set arbitrary rules, plots, and twists and turns, as a novelist might. However, they can write a scientific work which is the result of a creative approach.

    Description: Der vorliegende Faksimile-Nachdruck stellt die Ergänzung zu den bereits 1980 edierten Kvatkija pravila Rossijskoj grammatiki von 1784 dar (Band 32 dieser Reihe). Ihm ist eine Aufsatzstudie beigefügt, in der einige der mit den Kvatkija pravila von 1773 und 1784 verbundenen Probleme behandelt werden. Hierdurch wird die an anderer Stelle (vgl. SPS, Bd. 32, Vorwort) angekündigte Einleitung ersetzt.

    Description: 〈P〉Über die Geschichte der kirchenslavischen Bibelkonkordanzen ist in der Einleitung zum 1. Band des Münchener Nachdrucks des "SpravoÄ nyj i objasnitel'nyj slovar' Novomu Zavetu" berichtet worden. Wie Gil'tebrandt andeutet, unterscheidet sich der vorliegende "Slovar' Psaltiri" vom "Slovar' Novomu Zavetu" vor allem dadurch, daß bei jedem kirchenslavischen Wort vermerkt ist, ob sein griechisches Äquivalent im Psalter auch noch anders Übertragen worden ist, und dass ein griechisch-slavischer Index alle diese evtl. konkurrierenden Wiedergabemöglichkeiten übersichtlich zusammenfasst.〈/P〉

    Description: Title in English: Problems of the Neolithic and Eneolithic. 39th annual meeting. Brno, September 9–11, 2020: Abstract book. Presented publication is a collection of 40 abstracts of papers, which are conferred at the 39th annual meeting "Problems of the Neolithic and Eneolithic". The contributions are divided into four thematic blocks, which build on a long research tradition in Central Europe and reflect the new needs and directions of archaeology. Student session as a suitable platform for meeting with the next generation of archaeologists with professionals represents a separate block. The collection also includes invited lectures, which present new paradigmatic approaches to the interpretation of the archaeological record in the Neolithic and Eneolithic. The discussion session is devoted to currently intensively debated questions of settlement waste. This session concludes with memories of the most experienced researchers and their legacy for future generations of archaeologists.

    Description: Kniha Mezi Markem Marci a Löwem z Erlsfeldu je prvním monografickým pojednáním o obsahu výuky na pražské lékařské fakultě v době barokní; titul odkazuje ke dvěma významným českým profesorům medicíny té doby. Výklad je chronologicky rámován obnovením lékařské fakulty po bitvě na Bílé hoře a počátkem vlády císařovny Marie Terezie (1740). Čtenář se nejprve dozví, co a z jakých učebnic se v pobělohorské době v Praze studovalo, včetně širšího kontextu dobové medicíny ve srovnání s fakultami v cizině. Dále se studie detailněji zaměřila na některé aspekty lékařských teorií v díle Jana Marka Marci z Kronlandu, např. na historii počátků středoevropského očkování proti neštovicím. Součástí pojednání je i podrobný rozbor prolínání lékařských teorií s dobovou filozofií. Nechybí ani popis postupného šíření objevu krevního oběhu ve středoevropské lékařské literatuře, na němž lze dobře pozorovat, jak se v baroku medicína postupně modernizovala. Práce rehabilituje baroko tradičně vykládané jako doba „temna“, neboť ukazuje, jak se lékařská učenost onoho období v Praze originálně rozvíjela a jak vzkvétala.

    Description: 〈P〉Das Weismann'sche "Teutsch-Lateinisch-Rußische Lexicon, Samt Denen Anfangs-Gründen der Rußischen Sprache" ist für die Lexikographie der ersten Hälfte des 18. Jh. nach Polikarpovs "Leksikon trejazičnyj, SPb. 1704" eine der wichtigsten Quellen überhaupt. Besonders reich ist das Wörterbuch an phraseologischen und sprichwortartigen Ausdrücken. Von gleicher Bedeutung ist das Werk aufgrund seines Anhangs. Das dortige, anonym verfaßte grammatische Traktat " Anfangs-Gründe der Rußischen Sprache" (48 S.) hat für die Grammatikentwicklung im 18.
