Beschreibung: Neznano in pozabljeno iz 18. stoletja na Slovenskem [The Unknown and Forgotten from the 18th-Century Slovenian Territory] is the first monograph written by the Slovenian Society of 18th Century Studies and presents the less known phenomena and aspects of the 18th-century Slovenian territory. The monograph was compiled by twenty-three Slovenian and international authors whose contributions discuss numerous areas spanning general, cultural, music, art and literary history. It is divided into several chapters. The introduction, containing the presentation of the Slovenian provinces in the 18th century, serves as the basic starting point and is followed by chapters “Pravna, upravna in cerkvena zgodovina” [“Legal, Administrative and Ecclesiastical History”], “Umetnost in obrt” [“Art and Crafts”], “Kulturna in socialna zgodovina” [“Cultural and Social History”] and “Jezikoslovje” [“Linguistics”]. The monograph, which was published in digital form, is also distinguished by rich pictorial content.

Beschreibung: Neznano in pozabljeno iz 18. stoletja na Slovenskem je prva monografija Slovenskega društva za preučevanje 18. stoletja. V njej so predstavljeni manj znani pojavi in vidiki 18. stoletja na Slovenskem. Pri nastanku monografije je sodelovalo 23 slovenskih in tujih avtorjev, ki so s prispevki posegli na številna področja, od obče in kulturne do glasbene, umetnostne in literarne zgodovine. Monografija je razdeljena na več poglavij. Uvodu, v katerem so kot splošno izhodišče predstavljene slovenske dežele v 18. stoletju, sledijo še poglavja Pravna, upravna in cerkvena zgodovina, Umetnost in obrt, Kulturna in socialna zgodovina ter Jezikoslovje. Monografijo, ki je izšla v elektronski obliki, odlikuje tudi bogato slikovno gradivo.

Beschreibung: The volume Historični seminar 13 ('Historical Seminar 13') offers a selection of articles that have been “filtered” through the cycle of lectures over the past two years. These articles were written by ten researchers from Slovenia, Austria, Croatia, and Germany. Historični seminar 13 continues to examine its origin in the humanities by looking at history and describing the past, with perspectives that are also directed toward other disciplines: geography, comparative literature, ethnomusicology, and cultural anthropology. However, it always maintains a critical distance, which is emphasized in various ways because many of the articles question previous assumptions of past studies and their subjective points of departure. In this manner, this volume makes an important contribution to critical thought about scholarship in general and about the future tasks of the humanities and the social sciences. At the same time, it adds an increasingly current ethical touch to much of its material. Historični seminar 13 is freely available online.

Beschreibung: Historični seminar 13 prinaša izbor devetih razprav, ki jih je prispevalo deset slovenskih, avstrijskih, hrvaških in nemških strokovnjakov. V interdisciplinarnem prepletu humanističnih in družboslovnih ved izstopajo različni pogledi na zgodovino, v motrenje tega, kar je bilo, s pogledi, usmerjenimi tudi v geografijo, komparativistiko, etnomuzikologijo, kulturno antropologijo. A nikakor ne brez kritične distance, ki je v pričujoči monografiji na različne načine še posebej poudarjena, saj številni članki preizprašujejo predpostavke do sedaj že opravljenih raziskav in nujno subjektivna izhodišča, ki posameznike vodijo pri njihovih ugotovitvah (in jih seveda najdemo povsod, le da so v humanističnih vedah morda še bolj na očeh). Na ta način Historični seminar 13 lahko pomembno prispeva h kritični misli o znanosti ter o prihodnjih nalogah humanistike in družboslovja, obenem pa marsikateri vsebini dodaja tudi vse bolj aktualno etično noto. Monografija, ki jo bo v roke z veseljem vzel marsikateri bralec, je prosto dostopna tudi na spletu.

Beschreibung: The present book is volume of conference proceedings of the scientific meeting dedicated to the founder of modern Slovenian musicology, Dragotin Cvetko, and organised by the Institute of Musicology of the Scientific Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts with the financial support of the Slovenian Research Agency and the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts. The papers, organised in four linked and intertwining subject sections (Dragotin Cvetko – life and work~Metamorphoses of national music historiographies~European music historiographies – selected chapters~and Musicology – from national towards global) are accompanied in the present volume by some basic facts on Dragotin Cvetko, whose life and works it celebrates, and four addresses in his honour. The book is rounded off by a list of master and doctoral theses supervised by Professor Cvetko and a chronological presentation of events that celebrated in September 2011 the hundredth anniversary of his birth.

Beschreibung: Pričujoče delo je spominski zbornik, v katerem so objavljeni predvsem referati z znanstvenega srečanja, ki ga je v počastitev stote obletnice rojstva akademika, prof. dr. Dragotina Cvetka, utemeljitelja sodobne slovenske muzikologije, priredil Muzikološki inštitut Znanstvenoraziskovalnega centra SAZU ob podpori Agencije za raziskovalno dejavnost in Slovenske akademije znanosti in umetnosti. Poleg referatov, ki so bili predstavljeni v štirih prepletajočih se in vsebinsko povezanih sklopih (o življenju in delu Dragotina Cvetka, o preobrazbah nacionalnih glasbenih historiografij, o vprašanjih evropske glasbene historiografije ter o muzikologiji ter njenem prehajanju od nacionalnega proti globalnemu) so v knjigi objavljeni tudi nekateri osnovni podatki o slavljencu in nekaj prav spominu naj napisanih besedil. Delo zaokrožuje še seznam vseh slavljenčevih magistrandov in doktorandov ter kronološka predstavitev vseh dogodkov, ki so bile Dragotinu Cvetku v septembru 2011 posvečene.

Beschreibung: Publishing medieval charters for Slovenian history is a long-term effort. The first four volumes were still published in the days of the pioneer of the project, Franc Kos (in the period 1902–1915), with the fifth book, published by his son Milko Kos, following somewhat later on. It was only in 2002 that France Baraga published, on the basis of the collected materials, the Central Catalogue of Medieval Charters of Dr. Božo Otorepec from the Milko Kos Historical Institute of ZRC SAZU, the sixth volume of medieval charters encompassing a relatively short period of ten years, 1246–1255. The volume appeared without an index of names, the publication of which has been postponed until today.This book therefore contains an accurate explanatory index of personal and place names, thus completing Baraga’s edition of 295 medieval charters.The book comes with a CD Gradivo za slovensko zgodovino v srednjem veku. 6/1 – Listine 1246–1255. 6/2 – Imensko kazalo [Materials for Slovenian Medieval History. 6/1 – Charters 1246 – 1255. 6/2 – Index of names] and both books in pdf-format.

Beschreibung: Izdajanje srednjeveških listin za slovensko zgodovino je delo, ki nastaja na zelo dolg rok. Prve štiri knjige so bile izdane še za življenja začetnika projekta Franca Kosa (v obdobju 1902–1915), peta knjiga, ki jo je izdal njegov sin Milko Kos, pa je že nekoliko bolj oddaljena (1928). Šele leta 2002 je France Baraga na podlagi zbranega gradiva, Centralnega kataloga srednjeveških listin dr. Boža Otorepca z Zgodovinskega inštituta Milka Kosa ZRC SAZU, objavil šesti zvezek srednjeveških listin, ki zajema relativno kratko desetletno obdobje 1246–1255. Zvezek je izšel brez imenskega kazala, katerega izid se je zavlekel do sedaj.

Beschreibung: Important anniversaries of prominent historians have become traditional opportunities for the gift to the celebrator in the form of scientific contributions from his colleagues and the colleagues who have worked with him fruitfully or are still doing so. Marušičev zbornik is a tribute to one of the leading historians of the Slovene region in contact with its western neighbors, historian prof. Branko Marušič at the age of 80. He has created a very important oeuvre, while outlining basic research directions, which some have continued to gain. One of the prominent results of this “scientific transfer” is the present scientific monograph, with the highly significant subtitle, Zgodovinopisec zahodnega roba (The Historian of West Edge). In a single volume, it represents the contribution of different generations of historians to new insights into the history of coastal space, especially that of the borderland, which throughout history has encountered coexistence with “the other.” Different historical sources and their careful analyzes and interpretations, which the authors place in different time contexts, contribute to new or original scientific knowledge. The monograph is actual and important for the development of historiography, also because of the development of Slovenian scientific terminology.

Beschreibung: Kot je v recenziji zapisal izr. prof. dr. Gorazd Bajc, postajajo pomembni jubileji vidnih zgodovinarjev že tradicionalne priložnosti poklona slavljencu v obliki znanstvenih prispevkov kolegov in kolegic, ki so z njim plodno sodelovali oziroma to še vedno počnejo. Marušičev zbornik je poklon enemu izmed vodilnih preučevalcev zgodovine slovenskega prostora v stiku z zahodnimi sosedi, zgodovinarju prof. dr. Branku Marušiču ob njegovi 80-letnici. Ustvaril je zelo pomemben opus, obenem pa začrtal temeljne raziskovalne usmeritve, ki so jih nekateri s pridom nadaljevali. Eden izmed vidnih rezultatov tega »znanstvenega prenosa« je pričujoča znanstvena monografija z zelo pomenljivim podnaslovom Zgodovinopisec zahodnega roba. Na enem samem mestu namreč predstavlja doprinos različnih generacij zgodovinarjev k novim spoznanjem o zgodovini primorskega prostora, posebej tistega mejnega, ki se je skozi zgodovino ves čas srečeval s sobivanjem z »drugim«. Različni zgodovinski viri in njihove pozorne analize ter interpretacije, ki jih avtorji umeščajo v različne časovne kontekste, prispevajo k novim oziroma izvirnim znanstvenim spoznanjem.
