    Description: ZusammenfassungDurch die Förderung ehrenamtlichen Engagements in der Bereitstellung von Daseinsvorsorgeinfrastruktur zeigt sich ein Raumdilemma: Die Mehrzahl der Engagierten findet sich in eher gut situierten Regionen, die von einer staatlichen Förderung des Ehrenamts im Gegensatz zu strukturschwachen Regionen profitieren. Im Beitrag wird dieses Raumdilemma empirisch bestätigt. Dazu wurden Initiativen bürgerschaftlichen Engagements, die sich an der Koproduktion von Daseinsvorsorgeinfrastruktur beteiligen, nach ihrer Lage im Raum ausgewertet. Dieser Zusammenhang kann negative Auswirkungen auf das Ziel gleichwertiger regionaler Lebensbedingungen haben. Das bedeutet jedoch keineswegs, dass Engagement und Koproduktion nicht auch in strukturschwächeren Regionen begünstigt werden kann. Dies zeigen in Fallstudien ermittelte Erfolgs- und Aktivierungsfaktoren, die im Beitrag diskutiert werden. Daher sollte nicht auf die Inwertsetzung des zivilgesellschaftlichen Engagements in der Regionalentwicklung verzichtet werden, weil alle Regionen – sowohl die schwachen als auch die starken Regionen – davon profitieren. Der Beitrag kommt vielmehr zu dem Schluss, dass das zivilgesellschaftliche Engagement in strukturschwachen Regionen in besonderer Weise gefördert werden sollte.

    Description: Publication date: Available online 29 December 2017 Source: Geodesy and Geodynamics Author(s): Qing Dai, Lifen Sui, Lingxuan Wang, Tian Zeng, Yuan Tian To further improve the performance of UKF (Unscented Kalman Filter) algorithm used in BDS/SINS (BeiDou Navigation Satellite System/Strap down Inertial Navigation System), an improved GM-UKF (Gaussian Mixture Unscented Kalman Filter) considering non-Gaussian distribution is discussed in this paper. This new algorithm using SVD (Singular Value Decomposition) is proposed to alternative covariance square root calculation in UKF sigma point production. And to end the rapidly increasing number of Gaussian distributions, PDF (Probability Density Function) re-approximation is conducted. In principle this efficiency algorithm proposed here can achieve higher computational speed compared with traditional GM-UKF. And simulation experiment result show that, compared with UKF and GM-UKF algorithm, new algorithm implemented in BDS/SINS tightly integrated navigation system is suitable for handling nonlinear/non-Gaussian integrated navigation position calculation, for its lower computational complexity with high accuracy.

    Description: In this study the extraction of essential oil from vetiver roots ( Vetiveria zizanioides ) has been carried out by using microwave hydrodistillation. In the extraction of vetiver oil using microwave hydrodistillation method is studied the effect of microwave power, feed to solvent (F/S) ratio and extraction time on the yield of vetiver oil. Besides, in this study can be seen that microwave hydrodistillation method offers important advantages over hydrodistillation, such as shorter extraction time (3 h vs. 24 h for hydrodistillation); better yields (0.49% vs. 0.46% for hydrodistillation); and environmental impact (energy cost is appreciably higher for performing hydrodistillation than that required for extraction using microwave hydrodistillation).     Description: Today, energy needs in Indonesia still rely on fossil energy sources that its availability in the world is increasingly depleted. Therefore, the research for alternative energy of petroleum must be developed, one of them is biodiesel. The use of microwave as energy source of biodiesel production can speed up the reaction time. So the microwave is considered more efficient. Seeds of nyamplung has an oil content of 71.4% (w/w) by weight. With the oil content of the nyamplung seeds has great potential when used as a raw material for biodiesel production.     Description: Ginger drink is one of the traditional beverage that became one of the products of interest by consumers in Indonesia. This drink is believed to have excellent properties for the health of the body. In this study, we have compared the moisture content, ash content, metal content and the identified compound of product which processed with traditional technique and using an evaporator machine. The results show that both of products fulfilled some parameters of the Indonesian National Standard for the traditional powdered drink. GC-MS analysis data showed the identified compound of both product. The major of hydrocarbon groups that influenced the flavor such as zingiberene, camphene, beta-phelladrine, beta-sesquepelladrine, curcumene, and beta-bisabolene were found higher in ginger drink powder treated with a machine than those processed traditionally.

    Description: Dengue is the most common infective disease caused by dengue virus (DENV) and endemic diseases in tropical and subtropical areas. Until now, there is no specific antiviral for dengue infection. It is known that viral load is related to disease severity. Curcuma longa L. (turmeric) with curcumin as major active compound has been identified for its antiviral effect. This study to determine antiviral effect of C. longa extract on DENV-2 in vitro and in vivo along with its toxicity in liver and kidney of ddY mice. Antiviral activity (IC 50 ) and toxicity (CC 50 ) in vitro was examined on Huh7it-1 cells by focus assay and a MTT assay, respectively.     Description: The comparison of solvent-free microwave extraction (SFME) and microwave hydrodistillation (MHD) in the extraction of essential oil from Melaleuca leucadendra Linn. was examined. Dry cajuput leaves were used in this study. The purpose of this study is also to determine optimal condition (microwave power). The relative electric consumption of SFME and MHD methods are both showing 0,1627 kWh/g and 0,3279 kWh/g. The results showed that solvent-free microwave extraction methods able to reduce energy consumption and can be regarded as a green technique for extraction of cajuput oil.

    Description: This study aimed to assess the lactogenic property of ethyl acetate fraction of torbangun ( Coleus amboinicus L.) leaves and to identify the compounds that responsibility as ‘milk booster’ using LC- MS approach. Lactagogue activity was evaluated in terms of quantity of milk produced from the rats treated with commercial milk booster (AF), ethyl acetate fraction of torbangun leaves (EA), water extraction of torbangun (AQ) and kaempferol (KP). The feed was given orally every two days and starting from Day 2 after giving birth until Day 28.
