    Description: In der vorliegenden Arbeit wurde der Einfluss der Zylindergeometrie (zylindrisch; rippenförmig) auf die Mischcharakteristik eines kontinuierlich durchströmten Taylor-Vortex Reaktors untersucht. Hierfür wurde die Makro- und Mikromischung mittels Spurstoffversuchen, Messung des Rührenergieeintrages und einer chemischen Testreaktion bestimmt.

    Description: On almost every construction site, mobile fresh-concrete pumps of different designs can be found, all of which have an interruptions in delivery. In this work, a fresh-concrete constant-flow pump is developed and simulated. In order to be able to develop the new type of fresh-concrete valve required for this, knowledge is built up in a first step. This is done with a test bench using statistical design of experiments.

    Description: The focus of this work is on the modelling of the degradation behaviour of conventional lithium-ion cells with graphite/NMC electrodes in conjunction with electrolytes based on LiPF6 in organic solvents. The potential for improvements of parameterization methods dealing with physical-chemical aging effects and simulation studies for optimization of the battery lifetime is shown. In the process of model parameterization mostly data-based as well as non-invasive analysis methods are used.

    Description: In this work, modular damage reduction assistance systems are investigated. Identification modules provide information about the current driving and working state, the machine operator, the bulk material mass and system parameters. Damage modules with complexity reduced calculation approaches allow a quantification of the machine damage. Possible applications and the potential of the assistance systems are demonstrated in a model-based development environment.

    Description: Ferromagnetic inhomogeneities along the track serve as landmarks. With these, each track section in the track network can be uniquely identified.     Description: Der Taylor-Couette Reaktor zeichnet sich aus durch gleichmäßige Mischintensitäten und schonende Mischbedingungen. Die Vermischung in der Taylor-Couette Strömung wurde experimentell untersucht. Die Größenskalen der Vermischung wurden hinsichtlich der Reaktorgeometrie spezifiziert. Basierend auf experimentellen Ergebnissen wurde die Vermischung in der Taylor-Couette Strömung modelliert sowie die Zusammenhänge zwischen Prozessparametern und Mischungszuständen geklärt.

    Description: In dieser Arbeit wurden Schwämme aus Al2O3, Mullit und oxidisch gebundenem SiC hinsichtlich ihrer Impuls- und Wärmetransporteigenschaften experimentell untersucht. Zur Auslegung chemischer Apparate nach dem heterogenen oder dem homogenen Modell wurden für folgende wärmetechnisch interessanten Parameter allgemeingültige, dimensionslose Korrelationen abgeleitet: Druckverlust, Wärmeübergangskoeffizient zwischen Fluid und Feststoffgerüst, Ruhe- sowie axiale und radiale Zweiphasen-Wärmeleitfähigkeit.

    Description: This work aims to gain an understanding of the interactions between tread compounds and surface texture on dry and wet road conditions. If, for example, a corundum surface, which is very well-established in the tire industry, is used on the tire test bench instead of a real track surface, for wet track conditions ranking inversions in the tested compounds occur.

    Description: The aim of the present work is the mathematical modeling of solid bowl centrifuges for the dynamic simulation of separation processes in real time. The developed compartment model couples the residence time behavior with the material properties and thus allows a time and space-resolved simulation for solid bowl centrifuges. The profound insights into the separation process open up not only a better design, but also new fields of application such as the dynamic flowchart simulation.

    Description: This contribution presents an analytical and a numerical model for predicting the effective thermal conductivity of porous electrode coatings as a function of microstructure parameters. Both models account for the morphological parameters and the thermal bulk materials of the constitutive cell components. The results of both models have been successfully verified against each other and validated with literature data as well as own experimental measurements.
