    Description: The present Recommendations for Policies of the Helmholtz Centers on Research Data Management were adopted on September 13/14, 2017 by the Assembly of Members of the Helmholtz Association of German Research Centers. It was emphasized that, for the Helmholtz Association, open access and technology transfer are goals of equal importance whose possibly diverging requirements have to be weighed against each other in each individual case.
