Se incluye un listado de las 26 especies de clinidos conocidas del Caribe colombiano, de las cuales Labrisomus sp., albigenys, L. bucciferus, Starksia atlántica, Acanthemblemaria rivasi, Coralliozetus sp., Ekemblemaria nigra, Emblemariopsis sp. y Enneanectes sp. son reportadas por primera vez de la costa norte de sudamerica. Malacoctenus macropus y Stathmonotus stahli (subespecie tekla) son nuevas para el Caribe colombiano. Se demuestra la riqueza de especies de esta familia en el sur del Caribe, pues existen 49, 14 de las cuales son exclusivas de esta zona. Esta distribución zoogeográfica restringida se manifiesta claramente en los chaenopsidos, pues la cuarta parte de sus especies caribeñas son conocidas solo del sur. Los géneros Ekemblemaria, Coralliozetus y Protemblemaria han tenido su especiación principalmente en el Pacífico americano y en el Caribe adyacente al Itsmo de Panamá.

It includes a listing of the 26 known species of the Colombian Caribbean clines, of which Labrisomus sp. albigenys, L. bucciferus, Starksia Atlantic Acanthemblemaria Rivasi, Coralliozetus sp. Ekemblemaria nigra, Emblemariopsis sp. and Enneanectes sp. are reported for the first time on the north coast of South America. Macropus and Stathmonotus Malacoctenus stahli (tekla subspecies) are new to the Colombian Caribbean. It shows the richness of species in this family in the southern Caribbean, as there are 49, 14 of which are unique to this area. This distribution is clearly restricted zoogeographical in chaenopsidos, as the fourth of its Caribbean species are known only from the south. Ekemblemaria gender, Protemblemaria Coralliozetus and speciation have been mainly in the American Pacific and the Caribbean adjacent to the Isthmus of Panama.
