    Beschreibung: El análisis semiótico de la diégesis o historia relatada y la actorialización o distribución de los actores del discurso en Ilona llega con la lluvia permite dilucidar la desesperanza como el hilo conductor de la novela, el cual es develado por el relato que hacen los personajes de sus recuerdos. En mi lectura, daré cuenta del componente argumental como universo diégetico donde se desarrolla la trama, así como el componente actoral, donde se localizan los actores Maqroll, Ilona y Larissa, y las acciones que estos realizan y que los afectan. La actorialización definirá, además, cómo estos actores se relacionan con las isotopías semánticas de la nostalgia como sentimiento siempre presente de lo gozado en un pasado feliz, la muerte como experiencia propia y la conciencia de la propia destrucción como correlato necesario de la vida.

    Beschreibung: Los avances de las llamadas ciencias duras, las ingenierías y las ciencias básicas son un hecho, al punto que son los motores de mayor fuerza en los avances científicos en las últimas décadas. También es un hecho que el sentido de utilidad del conocimiento, el papel de la innovación de las ciencias ha cobrado fuerza y valor situando a las Humanidades en niveles cada vez más distantes aparentemente, de los centros de toda de decisiones en los problemas de nuestro tiempo (Acevedo y Prada Dussán, 2017). En la actualidad la atención del pensamiento está centrado en “en un ‘enfoque orientado al mercado’, que favorece las ciencias biológicas, médicas y tecnológicas, y ha ayudado a reforzar una jerarquía disciplinaria en la que (…) [las] artes y Humanidades han luchado por llamar la atención” Hazelkorn (2015, p. 1).

    Beschreibung: The volume, dedicated to the 44th International Conference of the Italian Union for Drawing, investigates the theme of ‘Transitions’, which particularly effectively represents our time and the current condition of the discipline of Drawing. The term, beyond its generic meaning of an intermediate stage in a process in which a condition changes from one state to another, has always been used in various fields, from music to geophysics. In fact, the disciplines of drawing have always been confronted with themes and issues relating to transitions from one condition to another. The history of representation tells us of transformations, even epochal ones, relating to ‘drawing’, with all that such transitions entail: suffice it to think of the evolution of forms of representation, of instrumental apparatuses, of the mutability of supports, of the analogical-digital transition underway, of the new modes of communication on platforms, of the hypertrophic offer of images also on the net that confirms Guy Debord’s intuitions relating to the new spectacularisation of society. Similarly, representation triggers transitions in the prefiguration and communication of design, the anticipation and foreshadowing of future events.The challenges posed by the digital pose open questions whose scope can only be glimpsed, such as the relationship between drawing and the act of modelling, and the construction of new paradigms of visual language and communication. ‘Transitions’, almost implicitly, points to possible futures, the evolution of technique and the search for new modes of expression; at the same time, however, it can suggest silences and reflections in a process of connection between history, theory, criticism and construction.

    Beschreibung: Le contrôle du paludisme requiert plusieurs moyens de lutte associés au sein de stratégies adaptées au contexte environnemental et épidémiologique. Les moustiquaires imprégnées de pyréthrinoïdes constituent l’un des outils préventifs dans cette lutte : leur utilisation est simple et permet une protection individuelle et collective durable et accessible à tous. Cependant, depuis plus de dix ans, Anopheles gambiae, le principal vecteur du paludisme en Afrique, est devenu résistant à de nombreux insecticides. Cette résistance pose des questions d’ordre fondamental et opérationnel : le comportement des moustiques s’en trouve-t-il modifié ? Cette résistance s'accompagne-t-elle d'une réduction significative de l'efficacité des moustiquaires imprégnées ? À travers la synthèse de travaux de recherche réalisés tant en laboratoire que sur le terrain, cet ouvrage révèle pourquoi les moustiquaires imprégnées d'insecticides resteront, pendant longtemps encore, une arme indispensable dans la lutte contre le paludisme.

    Beschreibung: Les migrations internationales sont devenues l'un des enjeux majeurs des rapports entre les États. Dans ce cadre, les mouvements de réfugiés et de déplacés liés aux conflits politiques, identitaires ou territoriaux témoignent de la fragilité de constructions nationales encore si souvent contestées. Les principales modalités d'accueil des réfugiés montrent bien les obstacles à l'intégration comme les limites d'une assistance humanitaire dont l'action reste plus curative que préventive. Mais la paix revenue, le retour et la réintégration des réfugiés dans leur pays d'origine se heurtent encore à des difficultés politiques, juridiques et économiques qui sont autant de freins à la reconstruction nationale et qui, par là même, dessinent les migrations internationales du futur. Tels sont quelques-uns des grands thèmes évoqués dans les différentes contributions de cet ouvrage, dont certaines, comme celles sur les camps palestiniens du Liban, sur la revendication territoriale des Sahraouis ou encore sur le difficile retour des réfugiés cambodgiens, sont d'une actualité toujours brûlante.

    Beschreibung: Le trachome, la maladie des « cils qui poussent à l’intérieur », est la deuxième cause de cécité dans le monde. Bien qu’elle soit susceptible d’être prévenue et traitée, elle frappe encore près de 80 millions de personnes, en particulier dans le sud du Sahara. Quelles sont les causes de cette maladie ? Comment y faire face ? Comment évaluer le succès des actions préventives ou curatives déjà entreprises ? Où en est la lutte contre cette infection et quelles sont les recommandations nécessaires à son éradication ? Cette expertise collégiale menée par l’IRD, réalisée par une quinzaine de chercheurs à la demande du ministère de la Santé du Mali et de l’Institut d’ophtalmologie tropicale d’Afrique (Mali), s’attache à décrire l’état actuel de la lutte contre cette conjonctivite cécitante d’origine infectieuse. En dressant le bilan des stratégies déjà à l’œuvre, notamment celle du programme CHANCE de l’OMS, cette expertise cherche à définir les conditions et les perspectives de cette maladie.

    Beschreibung: Varias son las vetas desde donde se han abordado la expresión “lenguaje cinematográfico”. No obstante, como introducción para después abordar tal expresión con mayor profundidad desde lo que nos interesa, podemos destacar dos. La primera tiene relación con el deslumbramiento y asombro que el cine mudo, a principios del siglo XX, ocasionaba en algunos artistas y estetas, así como las posibilidades que éstos últimos veían en aquel. El cine, como una nueva forma de expresión, surgió y fue aceptado por las mayorías y por algunas minorías. Esto implicaba necesariamente una innovadora manera de abordar y vivir la experiencia estética, hasta ese momento anclada y validada socialmente en la cultura élite, cuyo medio de expresión más sobresaliente era el lenguaje verbal y escrito.

    Beschreibung: Les vecteurs des agents du paludisme ou de la leishmaniose, rencontrés lors de voyages dans les régions à climat chaud, s'ajoutant à la transmission par le moustique tigre (Aedes albopictus) des virus chikungunya et de la dengue dans le sud de la France, ont montré l'intérêt d'une réflexion approfondie sur la protection personnelle antivectorielle. En cas d'épidémie, nos concitoyens se protègent individuellement en se procurant sur le marché tout un arsenal de moyens où le meilleur côtoie le pire. Pour donner à chacun des informations sur l'efficacité et l'innocuité de ces moyens de protection, la Société de médecine des voyages et la Société française de parasitologie ont initié cette étude qui a pris la forme de « Recommandations de bonne pratique », en suivant le schéma élaboré par la Haute Autorité de santé. Cet ouvrage rassemble ainsi toutes les données pertinentes, validées et mises en forme pour être utilisées non seulement par les personnels de santé (médecins, pharmaciens, infirmiers), mais aussi par les agents touristiques ainsi que par les particuliers pour se protéger des nuisances et des maladies à vecteurs qui constituent de préoccupants problèmes de santé publique.

    Beschreibung: Cet ouvrage est le fruit de l’une des premières « expertises collégiales » coordonnées par l’Institut de recherche pour le développement (IRD). Il fait le bilan des connaissances sur la présence, préoccupante, du mercure en Amazonie, sur ses effets sur l’environnement et la santé. Il se conclut par un certain nombre de recommandations opérationnelles. Il existe deux modes spécifiques de contamination humaine par le mercure : l’exposition des travailleurs de l’or (orpailleurs ou raffineurs) aux vapeurs de mercure dégagées lors des opérations d’enrichissement du minerai aurifère et de purification des lingots ; l’exposition de la population à un dérivé du mercure, le méthylmercure, principalement par la consommation de poissons eux-mêmes contaminés. Le premier mode, direct, de contamination peut entraîner des troubles de la santé du fait d’expositions prolongées et répétées. Ceux-ci concernent les voies respiratoires, le système gastro-intestinal et le système nerveux central, ce dernier pouvant être l’objet d’altérations irréversibles. Le caractère souvent clandestin et précaire des activités d’orpaillage ne favorise pas l’usage de techniques qui éviteraient ou du moins réduiraient cette contamination. La seconde forme d’exposition est beaucoup plus difficile encore à maîtriser. La méthylation du mercure, issu de l’orpaillage mais aussi contenu dans les sols à l’état « naturel », relève d’activités bactériennes dans des milieux aquatiques privés d’oxygène et riches en matière organique. L’exportation du mercure est facilitée par la déforestation – les sols dénudés favorisent sa libération – et par l’aptitude de ce métal à se complexer aux fines suspensions argilo-organiques véhiculées par les eaux. La contamination des poissons est l’étape suivante de la chaîne de transfert vers l’homme : comme, pour beaucoup de populations amazoniennes, leur consommation représente la source essentielle de protéines, elle constitue un agent d’exposition quasi quotidienne au méthylmercure dans l’ensemble de l’Amazonie et non dans les seules régions d’orpaillage. Cette imprégnation continue entraîne essentiellement l’apparition, tant chez l’adulte que chez l’enfant, d’atteintes neurologiques sévères, plus graves encore chez le fœtus au moment de la formation des organes. À partir de ces constats, un certain nombre de recommandations sont avancées : la mise en place d’un observatoire amazonien de surveillance, la création d’une structure d’encadrement de l’orpaillage, l’usage généralisé d’équipements de protection contre les vapeurs de mercure, diverses mesures techniques destinées à réduire l’impact du mercure dans l’environnement, une meilleure diffusion de l’information de base sur les risques encourus, l’adoption d’habitudes alimentaires prévenant l’exposition régulière au méthylmercure, une amélioration des suivis sanitaires.

    Beschreibung: La primera impresión fue de piedra negra sobre cielo gris, y desde entonces se acabaron los colores. Era la ciudad de México en 1971, en 1972, y así sería siempre. Es una lástima porque las ardillas relucen sus extraños colores en Chapultepec, y el chile esplende rojo contra los tacos de lengua y ojos. Pero para mí ya no habría otros colores, además de esa sensación de salir corriendo, de escapar, de ver el azul del mar y olvidarse de estas montañas de erotismo volcánico. Mi hotel era el Montecarlo, en la calle Uruguay, sitio de encuentro con el espíritu de D. H. Lawrence y sus mañanas en México. El hotel hervía de escritores jóvenes como yo, de pintores alucinados por el yagé y las pirámides, de beatniks atolondrados entre el mezcal y la marihuana, de ángeles subterráneos empantanados de sexo y poesía.

    Beschreibung: À la marge des mondes indiens et chinois, territoire essentiel pour la compréhension des origines de l’homme et des peuplements anciens, carrefour migratoire pour la faune asiatique, le nord de la Thaïlande offre des conditions favorables à la conservation des vestiges du passé. Autant de raisons qui ont suscité les recherches récentes menées par la mission paléolithique franco-thaïe et dont le présent volume constitue une première synthèse. Au fil d’un itinéraire archéologique qui guide le lecteur dans les karsts du sud du Triangle d’Or, les auteurs revisitent l’archéologie préhistorique du Sud-Est asiatique à travers l’exploitation de nouveaux sites. Outre une étude détaillée de la mise en place des restes paléontologiques dans les grottes, les découvertes inédites de matériel lithique sont l’occasion d’une révision complète du faciès Hoabinhien. En s’appuyant sur ces données nouvelles, les auteurs proposent une synthèse originale intégrant la question du peuplement humain, l’évolution des techniques et l’histoire de la faune et des milieux anciens de la région. Ils ouvrent ainsi la voie vers une paléoécologie du milieu tropical forestier. Au travers de l’occupation des grottes par les moines bouddhistes, l’histoire récente est également traitée. Ces différentes approches permettent une relecture des événements qui, sur le temps long, ont abouti à la pluralité de l’homme actuel et de son environnement.

    Beschreibung: Álvaro Mutis forma parte de la generación en la poesía hispanoamericana que emerge después de la vanguardia radical de las décadas de 1920 y 1930. Ya no se trataba de experimentar como en la poesía cubo-cubista o de las palabras gimnásticas en Altazor, de Huidobro; en lo críptico-barroco del Trilce vallejiano; en lo juguetón desparpajado ultraísta de los Veinte poemas para ser leídos en el tranvía, de Girondo; o en el beligerante futurista del poema de la urbe, del estridentista Maples Arce. Esa nueva generación, arbitrariamente definida por los nacidos entre 1910 y 1925 (Enrique Molina, José Lezama Lima, Emilio Adolfo Westphalen, Octavio Paz, Juan Liscano, Gonzalo Rojas, Olga Orozco, el propio Mutis y Jorge Eduardo Eielson, por sólo mencionar algunos), se vincula con la poesía exuberante, acumulativa, de Residencia en la tierra (1933, 1935), de Pablo Neruda. Son poetas que encontraron en el surrealismo una estética y una ética afín, aunque evitando la llamada “escritura automática” y acudiendo a cierta acumulación verbal que aspiraba a la búsqueda de un absoluto, no sin pasar por las reuniones de contrarios, el intento de anular diferencias, y por la ambigüedad y crítica del lenguaje.

In fact, the disciplines of drawing have always been confronted with themes and issues relating to transitions from one condition to another.     Beschreibung: Las muchas preguntas en torno a la cognición estética, sus potencialidades hermenéuticas, didácticas y pedagógicas, así como sus despliegues creativos en los ámbitos de la educación superior, movilizaron mi interés como investigador-docente y devinieron en provocación que me alentó a vincularme a realizar, conjuntamente con algunos de los integrantes del grupo de investigación Educación y Cultura, de la Facultad de Educación de la Universidad de San Buenaventura Cali, la investigación, a partir de la cual he elaborado esta ponencia. Parto de reconocer que en una gran cantidad de IES los espacios que suelen abrirse para la exploración creadora a través de la cognición estética suelen restringirse a los lenguajes de diferentes disciplinas artísticas y en la práctica se caracterizan por ser espacios fragmentados; habilitados para el despliegue expresivo de los estudiantes y orientados hacia el sano esparcimiento, desconociendo el potencial humanizador, generativo y transdisciplinar de la cognición estética, expresados en la práctica a través de los procesos de la educación por el arte que permean y enriquecen todas las áreas del saber, involucrando activamente el pensar y el sentir como fuente generativa de saberes.

    Beschreibung: Formar para la paz en las escuelas no es una tarea fácil, ya que se requiere enfrentar retos para hacer cambios en el entorno social; principalmente hacer cambios en los pensamientos que propicien la participación de los estudiantes y de las comunidades, en la familia, en el sistema educativo, en el área laboral. Estos cambios deben responder para brindar oportunidades sociales; en ese sentido se dice que se construye una cultura de la paz. A lo largo del desarrollo de los intentos por eliminar la violencia alrededor del mundo se toma como referencia a la educación como la manera de encarar los conflictos y la paz como el principio de la convivencia. Mantener la paz es prevenir el quebrantamiento de la justicia, ya que los derechos humanos conducen al respeto de la dignidad de todas las personas. El papel de la escuela, conforme a los compromisos de impulsar la convivencia para vivir en paz, permite mejorar los procesos de enseñanza para trasmitir a los estudiantes las competencias necesarias para aprender relacionarse en un ambiente de armonía, tanto a nivel social como personal; en ese sentido es importante garantizar ambientes que conduzcan a la cultura de la no-violencia.

    Beschreibung: En el siguiente texto se realiza un análisis del filme El hombre de la cámara de Dziga Vertov. Este análisis está basado en los conceptos de Christian Metz y otros autores referenciados en la bibliografía. Vertov comienza la película explicándola como un experimento que pretende alejarse del teatro y la literatura. Sin embargo, aunque sí se aleja del lenguaje teatral, El hombre de la cámara tiene una gran cercanía con la literatura, específicamente en el uso de elementos de la lingüística y la retórica como formas de construcción discursiva. El uso de significaciones alegóricas como metáforas y metonimias, está presente a lo largo de la construcción del film. Igualmente, la presencia de la cámara como un ojo fílmico es continúa durante el mismo. En este sentido se comienza el análisis retomando los conceptos de Christian Metz, desde la lingüística.

In fact, the disciplines of drawing have always been confronted with themes and issues relating to transitions from one condition to another. The history of representation tells us of transformations, even epochal ones, relating to ‘drawing’, with all that such transitions entail: suffice it to think of the evolution of forms of representation, of instrumental apparatuses, of the mutability of supports, of the analogical-digital transition underway, of the new modes of communication on platforms, of the hypertrophic offer of images also on the net that confirms Guy Debord’s intuitions relating to the new spectacularisation of society. Similarly, representation triggers transitions in the prefiguration and communication of design, the anticipation and foreshadowing of future events.The challenges posed by the digital pose open questions whose scope can only be glimpsed, such as the relationship between drawing and the act of modelling, and the construction of new paradigms of visual language and communication. ‘Transitions’, almost implicitly, points to possible futures, the evolution of technique and the search for new modes of expression; at the same time, however, it can suggest silences and reflections in a process of connection between history, theory, criticism and construction.

    Beschreibung: La propuesta parte de identificar varios problemas en la historia con la presencia de las mujeres, se asume que la historia que se ha contado, no enuncia las acciones que las mujeres realizaron en la conformación de las naciones, y aquellos actos que se enuncian, no encuentran legitimidad ni validez en un discurso plagado y validado por acciones bélicas que poco tienen que ver con las acciones que realizaron las mujeres. Carla Lonzi (2004) lo denunció en 1972, al afirmar que, “la diferencia de la mujer consiste en haber estado ausente de la historia durante miles de años” (p. 7), lo mismo que, desde la acción política se afirma en el Manifiesto Rivolta Feminille (1970), en el cual una de las consignas declaró que, “sobre la presencia de la mujer no se nos ha dicho nada, o lo que se ha dicho se ha dicho mal: nosotras debemos redescubrir dicha presencia para saber la verdad” (p. 121). A partir de este momento, mostrar la ausencia de las mujeres en el discurso histórico, se convirtió en un acto político, una consigna que hasta la fecha no se ha resuelto y que es necesario descifrar.

    Beschreibung: Esta investigación es parte de la tesis doctoral1 que actualmente desarrollo y que tiene como temática central el trabajo desde las identidades de género que cuatro mujeres afrodescendientes o negras2, en condición de desplazamiento forzoso, actrices naturales del grupo Aves del Paraíso del Teatro La Máscara, construyen en el escenario, en dos obras: El solar (2006) y Perdón y olvido (2016). La pregunta por las identidades de género cobra sentido por el hecho de que el montaje escénico que estas mujeres realizan está abordado desde el teatro de mujeres, el cual trabaja a partir de las representaciones de sus propias experiencias de vida.

    Beschreibung: La Educación para la Paz conlleva a la transformación de los modelos de enseñanza, motivando a la creación de una pedagogía restaurativa. Por lo anterior, se pretende plasmar en este capítulo un marco general de la investigación, enfocada a la construcción de una cultura de paz en las aulas, que busca identificar los elementos de la Educación para la Paz, que influyen en la disminución de conductas violentas, en el contexto de las aulas, en una institución educativa en Santiago de Cali, Colombia. La investigación parte al encuentro con la realidad que viven algunas instituciones educativas del país, por causa de factores sociales como desigualdad, pobreza, violencia y el flagelo que ha causado la guerra. Tiene como resultado un análisis de los tres elementos que se deben desarrollar al interior del aula con el fin de disminuir los índices de violencia que se presentan en la actualidad. Los elementos obedecen a las habilidades emocionales, sociales y las herramientas para la solución de conflictos de forma pacífica.

    Beschreibung: Les guérisseurs itinérants kallawaya sont originaires des vallées de Charazani dans les Andes orientales, à mi-chemin du lac Titicaca et de l'Amazonie, sur le territoire d'une ancienne chefferie pré inca. Durant l'époque coloniale et jusqu'à nos jours, ils diffusèrent dans les Andes d'abord, de Quito au Chili, dans tout le continent ensuite, de Panama à Buenos Aires, leur savoir médical né de la rencontre de plusieurs traditions (Pukina, Arawak, Aymara, Quechua) et transmis par initiation. Grâce à une patiente et obstinée enquête menée durant quinze années dans l'amitié de ses informateurs, Louis Girault a pu réunir une collection de plantes médicinales, d'éléments organiques et minéraux, ainsi que des amullettes, utilisés dans les pratiques thérapeutiques et magiques des Kallawaya. Cet inventaire quasi exhaustif de mille éléments, rapportés au vu des classifications locales et confrontés aux anciennes chroniques d'histoire naturelle, permet d'étudier tant les taxonomies indigènes et la pharmacopée traditionnelle que les différents codes, sémantiques et symboliques, employés par ces guérisseurs. Cet ouvrage constitue un instrument de travail irremplaçable pour les hommes de science et de terrain. Botanistes, médecins, ethnologues, archéologues, historiens, ont besoin de tels inventaires systématiques afin d'avancer dans le déchiffrement des cultures américaines, notamment celles qui se trouvent au carrefour des Andes et de l'Amazonie.

    Beschreibung: El presente libro reúne las intervenciones más destacadas del coloquio internacional Arqueología regional en la Amazonía Occidental: temáticas, resultados y políticas. El coloquio surgió como respuesta a una necesidad que se Ta venido sintiendo en el transcurso de los últimos 10 artos sobre el estado de las investigaciones arqueológicas efectuadas en la parte Occidental de la Amazonía de los países andinos. El problema real es la falta de intercambio de información básica sobre las pesquisas y los nuevos datos que se generan en la ceja de montaña. Los arqueólogos que trabajan en esta área reconocen el gran vacío que existe en la información regional sobre los avances alcanzados en la investigación de los países vecinos. Aunque las problemáticas que se enfocan en los distintos países de la región andina sean diferentes, todos concuerdan en que lo que se logra en un país, beneficia necesariamente al conocimiento y a las estrategias que se deberían implementar en la región. Una ciencia joven debe construirse con el aporte de todos sus actores y una perspectiva regional multiplica las oportunidades de avanzar a un ritmo más acelerado. La discusión de las políticas de investigación no sólo incumbe a los practicantes, sino sobre todo es una responsabilidad del Estado. Entre sus obligaciones sociales, éste debería plantear los objetivos y las problemáticas, trazar las estrategias y organizar sus recursos para lograr las metas que se pretende alcanzar La investigación debería regirse por un plan socializado y coherente que englobe el estudio, la conservación y la difusión de los recursos patrimoniales (naturales y culturales), pues sin estos pasos previos no es posible ponerlos en función social. Las políticas de estado deben guardar coherencia con el plan de gobierno y en materia patrimonial debe fijarse como objetivo a corto plazo la recuperación de la identidad ancestral y la construcción de un sentido de unidad dentro de la pluriculturalidad que caracteriza al Ecuador actual.

    Beschreibung: Como tema literario el sexo está lejos de ser uno de los temas más tratados por la crítica en las obras de Alberto Mussa y Álvaro Mutis. Probablemente, esta situación se deba a los efectos perturbadores de este tema, además de que no se trate de obras esencialmente eróticas. Sin embargo, el hecho de tratar de sexo puede ser un procedimiento de apertura para apreciar mejor las obras del autor brasileño y del autor colombiano. Parece interesante abordar el tema del sexo en la obra El Enigma de Qaf (2004, en español: 2010) de Alberto Mussa y la novela Ilona llega con la lluvia (1988) de Álvaro Mutis porque estos dos autores ponen a la obra diferentes dispositivos para canalizar la experiencia sexual no solamente como un placer o deseo, sino también como un acontecimiento regenerador o destructor y, sobre todo, como una fuente de saber poética y filosófica.
