    Description: Acta Slavica Estonica is an international series of publications on current issues of Russian and other Slavic languages, literatures and cultures. The first part of the book contains chapters about the general history of school textbooks for reading and the story of the heritage of two authors (Vyazemsky and Fet) in them. The second part of the book presents chapters on various Russian poets (Batyushkov, Zhukovsky, Pushkin, Koltsov, Tyutchev, Maikov) whose poems found a firm place in the reading materials for schools. The chapters of the monograph give an idea of different aspects of the history of these texts and their reception. The monograph has two supplements. In the first there is a list of 108 textbooks and books of reading which are all included in the unique data base accessible in the Internet (www.ruthenia.ru/canon). The second supplement offers a list of the most popular authors and their texts included in the textbooks of the 19th century.

    Description: Acta Slavica Estonica is an international series of publications on current issues of Russian and other Slavic languages, literatures and cultures. This issue of the subseries “Blokovskii sbornik” continues the series of studies started by Zara Mints in 1964. The majority of works from Section I of the book, “The Art of А. Blok in the Context of 19th–20th Century Literature,” is devoted to the study of the poet’s works, his perceptions of preceding writers’ works, and his biographical and artistic contacts with contemporaries. The articles in Section II, “Silver Age Literature: Creative and Social Strategies,” are mainly focused on artistic works and essays of modernist literati contemporary to Blok or to some extent resonating with his poetry and artistic worldview.

    Description: Aquest estudi sobre la presó franquista de postguerra es basa en les duescentes quaranta cartes que Daniel Vilaró Rius va escriure a la seva família entre juliol del 1939 i agost del 1943 des de tres presons i, per tant, presenta el règim penitenciari viscut des de dins. En aquestes cartes trobem en primera persona l’impacte psicològic de la derrota, dels judicis sumaríssims i de l’empresonament, la por i la incertesa de cada dia, la penúria, la privació emocional de l’allunyament de la família, la frustració de no poder exercir cap rol familiar. Alhora, la voluntat de sobreviure física i moralment, que va ser una voluntat política, i els mecanismes i estratègies que van fer que molts ho aconseguissin, des de l’ajut de fora i la solidaritat a dins, fins a la capacitat de cadascú per mantenir alguna il·lusió i la fe en el futur.

    Description: In the stem-derivational perfective-imperfective opposition of Slavic the role of prefixes and suffixes has to be assessed jointly. The article evaluates the diachronic backdrop and parameters appropriate for classificatory categories. Special attention is paid to the criteria applied by aspectologists to determine aspect pairs and to aspect triplets. The assessment ends up with a paradox resulting from Maslov’s criteria of ‘trivial pairednessʼ, which require not only identical lexical meaning, but an ontology for which telic events are the sole basis in the derivation of aspect pairs.

    Description: Geçmişte yaşanan iklim değişikliklerinin nedenlerinin ve etkilerinin anlaşılması, insanoğlunun gelecekte karşılaşacağı çevresel değişiklikleri önceden tahmin etmesi ve önlemler alması açısından önem arz etmektedir. İnsanın yeryüzündeki varlık süresince, yani Kuvaterner’de yaşanan iklim değişiklikleri, buzul ve buzularası çağlarının yaşanmasına yol açarak, yer küreyi ve üzerinde yaşayan canlıların hayatını şekillendirmiştir. Ülkemiz de Kuvaterner buzullaşmalarının etkisinde kalmış ve Anadolu’nun farklı bölgelerindeki yüksek alanlarda gelişen buzulların bazıları günümüze kadar ulaşmıştır. İklim değişikliği etkisiyle ortadan kalkan buzulların oluşturduğu yer şekilleri ise çoğu sahada korunmuştur. Anadolu’daki buzullaşmalar ve bunlara ait yer şekilleri araştırmacılar tarafından sıklıkla çalışılmış olmakla birlikte morfometrik analizler sınırlı sayıda araştırmada uygulanabilmiştir. Buzul morfometrisi konusunda yeni yöntem ve yaklaşımlar son buzul çağının etkilerini daha net anlaşılmamıza imkân tanımaktadır. Bu araştırma kitabı ile Batı Torosların doğu ucunda yer alan ve daha önce literatürde geçmeyen Kuvaterner buzullaşmalarının izlerinin yaygın bir şekilde gördüğümüz Kuşak Dağı’nın jeomorfolojik özelliklerini arazi çalışmaları ve İHA verileri kullanarak haritalamak, ayrıca morfometrik analizlerle Kuşak Dağı ve Batı Toroslar hakkında paleoiklimsel değerlendirmelerde bulunmak hedeflenmiştir. Yine bu kitapta buzul jeomorfolojisi konusunda yeni yöntem ve yaklaşımlar ayrıntılı açıklanmaya çalışılarak bu konularda çalışacak genç araştırmacılar için Türkçe kaynak kitabı olması amaçlanmıştır.

    Description: Russian-language edition: In Russia and America a perceived absence of literature gave rise to grandiose notions of literature's importance. This book examines how two traditions worked to refigure cultural lack, not by disputing it but by insisting on it, by representing the nation's (putative) cultural deficit as a moral and aesthetic advantage. Through a comparative study of Gogol and Hawthorne, this book examines parallels that seem particularly striking when we consider that these traditions had virtually no points of contact. Yet the unexpected parallels between these authors are the result of historical similarities: Russians and Americans felt obliged to develop a manifestly national literature ex nihilo, and to do so in an age when an unprecedented diversity of printed texts were circulating among an ever more heterogeneous reading public. Responding to these conditions, Gogol and Hawthorne articulated ideas that would prove influential for their nations' literary development: that is, despite the culture's thinness and deviation from European norms, it would soon produce works that would surpass European literature in significance.

    Description: Göl, akarsu ve denizler yüzyılları aşan süreden beri çoğunluğu insan kaynaklı olmak üzere çeşitli kirleticilerin baskısı altında bulunmaktadırlar. Özellikle endüstriyel üretimin hız kazandığı 1900’lü yılların ortalarından itibaren bu baskılar daha da artmış birçok su kaynağı kullanılamaz hale gelmiştir. Su kalitesindeki bozulmalar ve iklimsel değişim nedeniyle çok sayıda tür ortadan kalkmış, ya da tükenme noktasına gelmiştir. Ülkemizde de benzer çevresel sorunlar 1950’li yıllardan itibaren görülmeye başlanmıştır. Başta sanayi üretiminin büyük bir kısmının gerçekleştiği Marmara Bölgesindeki deniz ve içsu kaynakları olmak üzere birçok su kaynağı sanayi atıkları, evsel atıklar ve tarımsal kirleticiler ile baş başa bırakılmıştır. Söz konusu kirleticiler nedeniyle en büyük su kalitesi kaybına uğrayan alanların başında ise Marmara Denizi gelmektedir. Marmara Denizi havzası başta ülkemizin en büyük şehri olan İstanbul olmak üzere en büyük şehirlerini barındıran bir iç deniz konumundadır. Göreceli olarak küçük bir alan olmasına rağmen havzada ülke nüfusunun yaklaşık 1/3’ü yaşamaktadır. Havzadaki aşırı nüfus artışı ve kontrolsüz yapılaşma özellikle Marmara Denizi üzerinde büyük bir baskı oluşturmuştur. Uzun yıllar süresince arıtılmadan ya da sadece ön arıtıma tabi tutularak Marmara Denizine verilen atıklar denizin taşıma kapasitesini aşmış, bu nedenle denizde yaşayan birçok canlı türü tamamen ortadan kaybolmuştur. Hatta aşırı kirlenme nedeniyle Marmara Denizi’nin “Doğu Körfez” bölümü uzun yılardan beri balıkçılığa kapatılmıştır. Son zamanlarda Marmara Denizinde ortaya çıkan en önemli ekolojik sorunlardan bir tanesi de yaklaşık 6 ay süren müsilaj artışıdır. Müsilaj Ocak 2021 de başlayıp Haziran 2021’e kadar devam etmiştir. Müsilaj artışının 6 ay gibi uzun bir süre devam etmesi, büyük bir alanda habitat kayıpları yaratması, ekolojik tahribat kadar ekonomik kayıplara neden olması, balıkçılık dahil birçok ekosistem hizmetlerini etkilemesi nedeniyle dünya literatürüne girmiştir. İstanbul Üniversitesi olarak böylesine önemli ekolojik sorunu detaylı bir şekilde araştırmak, sonuçlarını ortaya koymanın gerekliliğine inanarak sadece Marmara Denizi’nde ortaya çıkan müsilaj sorunu ile ilgili çalışmaların yer aldığı 13 bölümden oluşan kitap yayınlamaya karar verdik. Deniz araştırmaları konusunda yaklaşık 80 yıllık deneyime sahip İstanbul Üniversitesinin yayınladığı bu eserin deniz bilimcilere ve karar vericilere başucu kaynağı olmasını diliyoruz.

    Description: This article explores the diplomatic correspondence sent to the Doge of Venice by Peter I (1721) and by his daughter Empress Elizabeth I (1743), informing him of peace treaties that had recently been concluded between Russia and Sweden. Analyzing these letters in the context of Russia’s diplomatic and epistolary relations with Venice in the 17th and 18th centuries, we examine their structure and composition with particular attention to the presence of diplomatic and epistolary formulae to identify evolutionary changes in the diplomatic and epistolary etiquette employed by Peter I and his successors.

Television series produced in Turkey are in demand worldwide and this issue is worth examining from a scientific point of view. Examining this issue as an export element is another research title. In this context, this book offers an idea of the domain, reception status and acceptance of international turkish television series in various countries.     Description: El orden del día de las agendas de los estudiosos de la alimentación está repleto de fenómenos que, formando parte de procesos históricos más amplios, deben ser tratados desde el conocimiento de las diferencias culturales, de las diversas formas de desigualdad social y de las implicaciones sociales, económicas y políticas que la comida tiene para la salud humana, el entorno y las sociedades. La producción, distribución y consumo de alimentos implica numerosos ámbitos y agentes en cualquier lugar y nos llevan desde las actividades agrícolas hasta el procesamiento de los alimentos, desde el restaurante o el comedor escolar al hogar, desde el individuo al grupo social; intervienen, a su vez, en el proceso de salud/enfermedad/atención. A pesar de la abundancia aparente, el sistema de producción alimentaria actual no asegura las necesidades básicas entre las personas, ni el reparto equitativo de los alimentos, ni la capacidad regenerativa de los recursos utilizados ni tampoco la preservación de la diversidad biocultural. Tampoco favorece la confianza en los alimentos producidos, ni el deseo tan humano como legítimo de querer preservar y mejorar la calidad de vida.

Церковнославянский перевод был создан около середины ХIV в. в одном из центров среднеболгарской письменности и пользовался большой популярностью по всей «Slavia orthodoxa», о которой свидетельствуют более 200 рукописей. Большая часть настоящего тома посвещена истории славянского перевода и его рукописной истории. Потом следует критическое издание предисловий и первой книги с греческим параллельным текстом и немецким переводом.

    Description: Ausias March (1400-1459) lebte in einer Zeit der Umbrüche: Die letzten Gewissheiten des Mittelalters machten dem Geist der frühen Neuzeit Platz; das Bürgertum beginnt dem Adel ernsthaft Konkurrenz zu machen und die Ideale der hohen Minne der okzitanischen Trobadore geraten ins Schwanken Zugleich bricht König Alfons V. von Aragonien nach Italien auf, um dort König von Neapel zu werden und so die Königreiche der Aragonesischen Krone in Personalunion mit dem italienischen Süden zu verbinden. Der daraus resultierende rege kulturelle Austausch bringt die Ideen und Moden der italienischen Renaissance auch nach Valencia, der damals größten Stadt der iberischen Halbinsel. Es folgt das segle d'or de les lletres valencianes - das "goldene Jahrhundert der valencianischen Literatur", das als Vorläufer des darauffolgenden Siglo de oro der kastilischen Literatur gesehen werden kann. Im Bereich der Lyrik ist Ausias March zweifellos der wichtigste Repräsentant dieses Goldenen Zeitalters. També es presenta un exemple concret de constitució d’un corpus, en aquest cas el de la Universitat de València.

    Description: Uzun yıllardır uygulanan liberal-kapitalist yönetişim modeli, bireyselleşmeyi ve piyasayı egemen kılıp, özel sektörü büyüterek, devleti ve hizmetlerini sınırlandırarak varlığını bugüne kadar sürdürdü. Ancak COVID-19 krizi ile birlikte bu ekonomik sistemin nasıl bir sonuç doğurduğuna hep birlikte şahit olduk. Dünyanın en büyük ekonomilerine sahip ülkelerin salgınla mücadelede ihtiyaç duyulan en temel koruma malzemelerini sağlamakta aciz duruma düşmesi, hastaları seçerek tedaviye almaları ve diğerlerini ölüme terk etmeleri, ölen insanlarını taşıyacak tabutları ve gömecek yerlerinin olmaması mevcut sistemlerin ne kadar insani olduğu sorununu somut bir şekilde ortaya çıkardı. Uluslararası rekabette en başarılı ülkeler, üstünlük sağlayan sektörlere ve üretime odaklanarak ekonomik gelişme stratejilerini bugüne kadar sürdürdüler. Ancak uzun tedarik zincirlerine ve küreselleşmeye dayalı bu yapı çökerken, katı sınırlar ve ulusal üretimlerle bu boşluğu doldurma arayışı ön plana çıktı. Ekonomiyle birlikte fonksiyonları zayıflayan, hizmet alan ve kapasitesi kısıtlanan devlet aygıtı ve yapısı, yaşanan salgınla birlikte büyük bir krizle karşı karşıya kaldı. COVID-19 salgınıyla birlikte ekonomik gelişmelere rağmen, sağlık hizmetlerinin ve tarımsal üretimin acil hallerde yarattığı etkilerinin insanlığı tehdit edecek boyutlara nasıl ulaştığını yaşayarak tecrübe ettik. Salgın ile birlikte tarımsal üretim başta olmak üzere temel ihtiyaçları karşılayacak üretimi yapabilmenin önemini bir kez daha anladık. Maske, solunum cihazı, ilaç ve aşı gibi halk sağlığı alanlarında üretim ve hizmetleri sunmanın ne kadar önemli olduğunun bilincine vardık. Üretimlerin stratejik öneminin dönemsel ve ihtiyaçlara göre değişebildiği gerçeğini bir kez daha yaşadık ve paramız olsa da bazı ürünleri ve hizmetleri satın alamayacağımızı gördük. Salgın, küresel düzeyde neredeyse hepimizi ruhsal, fiziksel ve sosyal açıdan eşitleyerek; sağlık, eğitim, gelir eşitsizliği, yoksulluk, işsizlik, göç, iklim krizi, temel insan ihtiyaçlarına erişim dahil her alanda yeni farkındalıklar oluşturdu. Salgın, bir yönüyle bencilliği besledi, dayanışmayı azalttı, yalnızlığa, biyolojik olduğu kadar psikolojik sorunlara ve bilgi kirliliğine yol açtı, ölüm korkusunu bireysel olmaktan çıkarıp, toplumsallaştırdı. Diğer yönüyle de dayanışma ihtiyacını artırdı ve ortak kader duygusunu güçlendirdi. Bu nedenle sosyal uyumu esas alan bir anlayışa olan ihtiyacımız daha fazla önem kazandı. Bundan dolayı toplumsal savrulmayı önleyecek ve panik yaşanmasına fırsat vermeyecek yapılanmaya ihtiyacımız arttı. 1980 sonrasında neoliberal rüzgârların etkisiyle yapılan özelleştirmelerle Türkiye’de de devlet nispeten küçültüldü, ekonomik ve sosyal sorunların yaşandığı bir dönemde küresel salgınla karşılaşıldı. Ancak genel sağlık sigortası, hastane sayısı, yatak kapasitesi gibi alanlarda sahip olduğumuz potansiyel ve kriz yönetme becerimiz sayesinde süreci nispeten daha iyi şartlarda geçirmekteyiz. Fakat bu gerçeğe rağmen ülkemizin de yeni şartlara adapte olmasını sağlayacak, krizi en az zararla atlatacak ve 21. yüzyılın ihtiyaçlarını karşılayacak yeniden yapılanmaya ihtiyacı artmaktadır. Ekonomik ve sosyal alanda yaşananlar yeni bir paradigma değişikliğine ihtiyaç olduğunu gösteriyor. Çünkü doyumsuzluğu ve obeziteyi besleyen sınırsız ihtiyaçlar algısı yerine, ihtiyaçların sınırlı olduğu ve isteklerin sınırlandırılabileceğini esas alan, bilgi hariç kaynakların sınırlı olduğu ilkesine dayalı yeni bir ekonomik düzeni inşa edecek bir paradigma değişikliğine yönelik beklenti artıyor. Kriz sürecini en az zararla atlatabilmek için hep birlikte dayanışma içinde mücadele ederek, küresel düzeyde yükselen işkollarını ve meslekleri esas alarak, endüstrileri ve iş piyasalarını yeniden yapılandırmak gerekiyor. Bu kitabın editörlüğünü üstelenen, yazar olarak katkıda bulunan ve hazırlanmasında görev alan fakültemizin çok kıymetli hocalarına bu vesileyle bir kez daha çok teşekkür ediyorum. 84 yıllık birikimimize uygun bir şekilde dünyada ve ülkemizde yaşanan ve yaşanacak sorunlara öğretim üyelerimiz kayıtsız kalmamış, var olan zor şartlara rağmen alternatifler üreterek, yol gösterici öngörülerde bulunmuşlardır. Hiç kuşkusuz bu kitap ön çalışma niteliğindedir, verilere ulaşıldıkça detaylandırılacaktır. Ufuk açıcı ve faydalı olması dileğiyle saygılar sunuyorum.

    Description: How the Steel Was Tempered in East Asia. Nikolai Ostrovsky’s novel How Steel Was Tempered (1932-34) tells the story of a young Ukrainian man named Pavel Korchagin who sacrifices his life and body to forge a steel-like spirit amid revolution, civil war, and postwar socialist construction. Although his physical injuries, which left him paralyzed and even blind, looks somehow grotesque, but his heroic self-sacrifice also had the power to inspire young readers. Regarded as an exemplary work of Soviet socialist realism, it was translated into many languages and read avidly at one time by left-wing readers in the West as well as in the Communist countries in the East. It was particularly influential in China, where it is so popular that even today it is invariably named as one of the favorite books of university students. This is in contrast to post-Soviet Russia today, in which the novel has lost the privileged position it once enjoyed and is no longer widely read. In China under the socialist regime, Ostrovsky’s novel was published in large numbers as suitable reading for young people and incorporated into school education. However, their active introduction in the public sphere alone does not explain their popularity. Chinese readers seem to have become deeply emotionally involved in the protagonist’s unsuccessful love affair with Tonya, a young girl whose bourgeois gestures and characterization must have been considered negative. As a result, the Soviet ideological novel has brought an unexpected meaning of European-style romantic love for Chinese readers. This presentation will trace the reception of Ostrovsky’s novel and the changes in the heroine Tonya’s image by comparing five adaptations: two Soviet films in 1942 and 1957, a Chinese lianhuanhua (serial picture book) in 1972, a Japanese manga in 1975, and a Chinese TV drama in 1999.

В основе смыслопорождения в герметичном поэтическом дискурсе лежат процессы подвижного семиозиса, в котором отношения стабильности между означающим и означаемым поставлены под вопрос, а сила тяжести перемещена на интерпретанту, и смысловой энтропии как интенсивного приращения смысла с невозможностью сформулировать его конечное состояние. В книге на материале текстов на немецком и русском языках рассматриваются разнообразные проявления поэтического герметизма в актуальной поэзии, а также семантико-синтаксические механизмы и прагматический потенциал смысловой неопределенности – от неуловимого намека и неразрешимой двусмысленности до нонсенса и тайнописи.

Yapay zekâ, derin öğrenme ve yapay sinir ağları, akıllı karar destek sistemleri, giyilebilir teknolojiler, sensörler, otonom/robotik araçlar, sanal gerçeklik, artırılmış gerçeklik, bulut bilişim sistemleri, nesnelerin internet ve geniş bant internet teknolojisi, web, gerçek zamanlı veri aktarımı, büyük veri, blokzincir, üç boyutlu yazıcılar, nanoteknoloji, biyoteknoloji ve kuantum bilgi işlem gibi gelişen teknolojik atılımların etkileri toplumsal ve ekonomik yaşamda bir dönüşüm süreci başlatmıştır. Akıllı sağlık, bireylerin sağlıkları ile ilgili farkındalıklarını ve yaşam kalitesini artırmayı hedefleyen, sağlık verisinin analiz edilmesiyle sağlık hizmetlerini iyileştirmeye yönelik yaklaşımların bütünüdür. Bilişim ve iletişim teknolojilerinin kullanılmasının ortaya çıkardığı düşünce tarzı, anlayış ve kavrayışın neticesi olarak akıllı sağlık, sağlığın dijital dönüşümünün bir sonraki aşamasını oluşturmaktadır. T.C. Sağlık Bakanlığı tarafından 2013-2017 stratejik planında yer alan ve 2015 yılındaki Sağlıkta Dönüşüm Projesi kapsamında kurulan Ulusal Sağlık Sistemine entegre edilen dijitalleşme ile e-Sağlık bileşenleri hayata geçirilmeye başlanmıştır. Ağustos 2021 tarihinde 11. Kalkınma Planı ile Cumhurbaşkanlığı Yıllık Programları doğrultusunda, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Dijital Dönüşüm Ofisi tarafından Ulusal Yapay Zekâ Stratejisi yayınlanmıştır. Raporda belirlenen stratejik öncelikler arasında vurgulandığı üzere, dönem sonu 2025 yılında yapay zekânın gayrisafi yurtiçi hasılaya katkısının %5’e yükseltilmesi hedeflenmektedir. 21. yüzyıl ülkelerinin refah düzeyini bilgiye ulaşma, bilgiyi işleme ve bilgiyi kullanma düzeyi belirlemektedir. Ancak gelecek yönelimlerinde, kompleks niteliklerle çok daha hızlı seyreden teknolojik gelişmeler ile yasal ve etik düzenlemeler senkronize değildir. Gelecekte genom bilimi, malzeme bilimi, nanoteknoloji, doku mühendisliği, bilgi bankaları, veri işleme, doğal dil işleme, sanal gerçeklik ve tıp bilişimi desteğiyle akıllı sağlık uygulamaları öngörülenden çok daha ileri boyutlara taşınabilecektir.

    Description: Jordi Brasó prologa aquesta edició facsímil del Diari de Vilamar (1922), que es publicà a la colònia escolar de Calafell i que simbolitza tot el moviment social de renovació pedagògica catalana d’inicis del segle XX. Juntament amb l’esforç de diversos mestres i pedagogs, hi hagué el de les institucions per fomentar una escola nova centrada en els interessos i les necessitats del jovent. En conseqüència es volgué millorar la qualitat, la vida i la formació de l’infant allunyant-se de la pedagogia memorística i no reflexiva. Això significava posar el punt de mira en l’alumne, i a partir d’aquest protagonisme elaborar tota la tasca educativa. Aquest diari, amb catorze números que van del 29 d’agost al 14 de setembre de 1922, detalla la vida a la colònia de la Primera República Escolar de Vilamar l’any de la seva creació. A càrrec dels alumnes, és un exemple de com era l’estada a Calafell, que funcionava com una ciutat ideal i amb un model d’autogestió democràtica organitzat de manera jeràrquica entre els habitants.

    Description: Engellilik Tarihi Yazıları, 15-16 Kasım 2018 tarihinde İstanbul Üniversitesi Engelliler Uygulama Merkezi ve İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi Sağlık Daire Başkanlığı Engelliler Müdürlüğü işbirliği ile düzenlenen Dünden Bugüne Engellilik-Engellilik Araştırmaları Konferansı’nda sunulan çalışmalardan derlendi. Engellilik meselesini disiplinler arası bir yaklaşımla inceleyen ‘Engellilik Araştırmaları’, kuramsal ve uygulamalı bir bilim alanıdır. Bu alan 1970’li yıllarda Amerika Birleşik Devletleri ve İngiltere’de başlayan engelli hakları hareketinin akademik çalışmalara yansımasıyla ortaya çıktı. Sonraki yıllarda engelliliği sosyal, kültürel, tarihsel, hukuki, politik ve etik yönleriyle ele alan disiplinler arası bir araştırma alanı olarak Amerika ve Avrupa’ya yayıldı, pek çok üniversitede lisansüstü, hatta lisans düzeyinde programlar başlatıldı. Türkiye’de 2017 yılında, engellilik araştırmalarının geliştirilmesi amacıyla, İstanbul Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü Engellilik Araştırmaları Anabilim Dalı kurularak, yüksek lisans programı açıldı. Engellilik deneyiminin kişisel ve toplumsal düzeyde etkilerini incelemeyi hedefleyen bu programın belkemiğini oluşturan konulardan birisi de, toplumlarda engelliliğin tarihsel ve sosyokültürel boyutlarıydı. Türkiye’de engelliliğin tarihsel ve sosyo-kültürel boyutlarını ilgilendiren alanlarda farklı disiplinler tarafından yapılmış bazı çalışmalara rastlanmaktadır. Bununla birlikte, engellilik çalışmalarıyla ilgilenen araştırmacılar için kaynak ihtiyacı açık bir şekilde eksikliği hissedilen bir konudur. Engellilik Tarihi Yazıları bu amaçla yola çıkmış bir çalışmanın ürünüdür. 2018 Kasım ayında İstanbul’da gerçekleştirilen Engellilik Araştırmaları Konferansı’nın teması Türkiye’de engelliliğin tarihsel, kurumsal, hukuksal ve sosyo-kültürel açıdan incelenmesi hedef alınarak, Dünden Bugüne Engellilik olarak belirlenmişti. Bu konferansta düzenlenen çeşitli panellerde Osmanlı İmparatorluğu’ndan Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’ne uzanan geniş bir tarihsel süreç içinde eğitim, istihdam, sosyal yaşam, edebiyat, din gibi alanlarda engellilik konusunda araştırma sonuçları ve bildiriler sunuldu. Ayrıca, Türkiye’de fiziksel tıp ve rehabilitasyonun, özel eğitimin, engellilikle ilgili politikaları oluşturan ve yürüten kurumların tarihsel süreçleri, ilgili konuların uzmanları olan öğretim üyeleri ve bürokratlar tarafından aktarıldı. Engelli hakları ve savunuculuk konusunda sivil toplumdaki hareketlilik 2000 yılı öncesi ve sonrasında faaliyet gösteren önemli sivil toplum örgütü temsilcilerinin yer aldığı panellerde tartışıldı. Bu konferansta sunulan araştırmalardan bazıları ve konferansta sunulmamış olmakla birlikte konuya doğrudan katkı sunabilecek diğer araştırmalar Engellilik Tarihi Yazıları’nda bir araya getirildi. Böylelikle, Türkiye’de henüz yeni gelişmekte olan engellilik tarihi çalışmaları alanında ilk safhada izlenen yaklaşımları ve yapılan araştırmaları görmeyi mümkün kılan ilk derlemenin araştırmacılara sunulması hedeflendi.

The book includes classifying the quality of life indicators by considering their individual, social, economic, and organizational context. The application section examines the quality of life of international students, a fragile population group who’ve experienced various disadvantages during the COVID-19 global health crisis. As a matter of fact, each international student provides human capital at the global level, and serves to construct an incorruptible and inexhaustible value in shaping a future that concerns all of humanity.     Description: In 1993 Michael Wachtel published Ivanov’s Russian Faust, comprising two scenes that appear to continue Goethe’s Faust and most likely represent the beginnings of a Faust drama. Ivanov was the first Russian poet to reevaluate the second part of Goethe’s poem for its extremely symbolic content. As a result, he was considerably influenced by Goethe’s creative experience. This article examines these two Faustian scenes and, more generally, the influence of Goethe’s Faust in Ivanov’s work; adopting a comparative approach, we explore the assimilation into Russian literature of a Central European myth.

    Description: In Making Martyrs: The Language of Sacrifice in Russian Culture from Stalin to Putin, Yuliya Minkova examines the language of canonization and vilification in Soviet and post-Soviet media, official literature, and popular culture. She argues that early Soviet narratives constructed stories of national heroes and villains alike as examples of uncovering a person's "true self." The official culture used such stories to encourage heroic self-fashioningamong Soviet youth and as a means of self-policing and censure. Later Soviet narratives maintained this sacrificial imagery in order to assert the continued hold of Soviet ideology on society, while post-Soviet discourses of victimhood appeal to nationalist nostalgia. Sacrificial mythology continues to maintain a persistent hold in contemporary culture, as evidenced most recently by the Russian intelligentsia's fascination with the former oligarch Mikhail Khodorkovsky, the Russian media coverage of the war in Ukraine, laws against US adoption of Russian children and against the alleged propaganda of homosexuality aimed at minors, renewed national pride in wartime heroes, and the current usage of the words "sacred victim" in public discourse. In examining these various cases, the book traces the trajectory of sacrificial language from individual identity construction to its later function of lending personality and authority to the Soviet and post-Soviet state.

    Description: Paradoxality as a Specific Feature of Dostoevsky’s Literary Works. Techniques, Stylistics, Mechanisms of Action. All works by Dostoevsky reveal the presence of paradox. These paradoxes act according to mechanisms that depend either on the fictional (polyphonic) or nonfictional (monologic) text “dominant.” Taking as a starting point (a) the arguments of G.S. Morson, according to whom paradoxes “seem to carry the quintessence of ‘Dostoevskyism’, particularly of his brand of humor,” (b) the analysis of Dostoevsky’s paradoxical humor; and (c) the three main categories of paradoxes (“empty or rhetorical”, “negative”, “positive”), we argue that Dostoevsky applies a fourth type of paradox, one that affects neither the premise nor the ending of the paradoxical structure, but their intrinsic logical interconnection. This article analyses a repertoire of paradoxical techniques used by Dostoevsky, focusing on the destabilizing humoristic function they enact.

    Description: A state's ability to maintain mandatory conscription and wage war rests on the idea that a "real man" is one who has served in the military. Yet masculinity has no inherent ties to militarism. The link between men and the military, argues Maya Eichler, must be produced and reproduced in order to fill the ranks, engage in combat, and mobilize the population behind war. In the context of Russia's post-communist transition and the Chechen wars, men's militarization has been challenged and reinforced. Eichler uncovers the challenges by exploring widespread draft evasion and desertion, anti-draft and anti-war activism led by soldiers' mothers, and the general lack of popular support for the Chechen wars. However, the book also identifies channels through which militarized gender identities have been reproduced. Eichler's empirical and theoretical study of masculinities in international relations applies for the first time the concept of "militarized masculinity," developed by feminist IR scholars, to the case of Russia.

    Description: Humor and Irony as a Means of Combating Atheism in the Discourse of F.M. Dostoevsky . The question of the God’s existence troubled Dostoevsky throughout his life. He created a very convincing portrait of the atheist of his time. He did not consider unbelievers immoral, but only “infected with recklessness”, and when speaking of his atheist acquaintances, often admitted that they were good people. Dostoevsky created the image of an atheist as an intelligent person, who is guided not by the heart, but by the mind and who often evokes sympathy for his questing, his thinking, and his suffering (like Versilov or Ivan Karamazov). If we carefully consider the “atheistic” characters of Dostoevsky, however, we will see that atheism is a phenomenon associated with something both bad and funny. Through humorous details, Dostoevsky imperceptibly creates an image of the “atheist” as a comical and frivolous person.

    Description: Šv. mergelės ir kankinės Kotrynos Aleksandrietės kongregacija gimė XVI a. pabaigoje Braunsbergo mieste (nuo 1945 m. – Braniewo, liet. Branevas), netoli Aistmarių, Baltijos jūros pašonėje, teritorijoje, kurios šeimininkai ne kartą keitėsi. Šiandien kotryniečių bendruomenė veikia ne tik Lenkijoje, Vokietijoje, Lietuvoje, glaudžiai su Baltijos jūra susijusiuose kraštuose, bet ir Brazilijoje, Afrikoje, Filipinuose, Haityje, Rusijoje, Baltarusijoje, o kongregacijos centras įkurtas Grotaferatoje netoli Romos (Italijoje). Iš viso kongregaciją sudaro apie 550 vienuolių. 1645 m. Krakėse, Lietuvos Didžiosios Kunigaikštystės teritorijoje, funduotas vienuolynas buvo vienas sėkmingiausių Žemaičių vyskupo Jurgio Tiškevičiaus projektų, tebesitęsiantis iki šiandien. Kotrynietės nuėjo ilgą istorinį kelią, ieškodamos savo tapatybės, skleisdamos Dievo žodį ir meilę artimui. Kongregacijos specifika – šalia kontempliatyvaus gyvenimo numatyta aktyvi socialinė – karitatyvinė ir šviečiamoji – veikla, kuri buvo vykdoma atsižvelgiant į laikotarpį ir visuomenės raidos ypatybes. Šios knygos tikslas – parodyti Lietuvos kotryniečių veiklą nuo vienuolyno įkūrimo Krakėse XVII a. pirmojoje pusėje iki XX a. pabaigos, išryškinti, kaip kongregacijos įkūrėjos palaimintosios Reginos Protmann (1552–1613)2 charizma skleidžiasi lokalioje bendruomenėje įvairiais istoriniais periodais, skirtingose kultūrinėse, socialinėse ir politinėse aplinkose.[...]. This study reveals the life story of the Lithuanian sisters of St Catherine in 1645–1988. On the initiative of the Beatified Regina Protmann (1552–1613), born in Braniewo (German: Braunsberg, Polish: Braniewo) the Congregation of the sisters of St Catherine Virgin and Martyr was established. In 1583 the first regulation of Regina Protmann was created followed by the second regulation in 1602. Alongside with the contemplative life, the specific of the Congregation is the active social, i.e. charitable and educational, activities. The main purpose of the monograph is to highlight how the charisma of the Beatified Regina Protmann unfolds in Lithuania, i.e. in a local community, at different historical periods, in different cultural, social, and political contexts. It is aimed at reflecting on how the regulation of Regina Protmann was adapted to the conditions of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania (GDL), how it was modified during the time of the Republic of Lithuania, and how much it changed after the Second Vatican Ecclesiastical Council. It was also aimed at revealing the main characters of this study, the sisters, their charitable and educational activities, their impact on the society, and their material situation. Precisament l’objectiu d’aquesta publicació és evidenciar la importància de la gestió del patrimoni literari perquè es (re)conegui com a propi al si d’una societat i sobrevisqui al pas del temps reconeixent-li i reivindicant-ne la importància en termes identitaris, de cohesió social i econòmics, com a motor de desenvolupament. Per aconseguir-ho es comença investigant sobre el concepte de patrimoni literari, entès com a (poli)sistema, per després conceptualitzar-ne la gestió. Seguidament, es fa una aproximació, amb voluntat comparativa, a l’estat de la qüestió de la gestió a Catalunya i a Anglaterra, per acabar creant un model de valoració de la gestió del patrimoni literari. Finalment, s’exposen les conclusions pertinents amb la voluntat de posicionar el patrimoni literari en la centralitat del sistema cultural català.

When considering laughter in Dostoevsky, one immediately thinks of the long “tirade” in The Adolescent, which proposes a kind of physiology of laughter, and its unpredictable effects on the perception of those who witness it. Laughter and caustic humor color even the most intimate confessions and can serve to partially mask the difficult action of revealing oneself before others. Modernity itself is the era of self-exhibition, of a sort of widespread confession. And yet, the laughter of modernity has lost the essence of joy. Joy is a function of that almost impossible sincerity that unveils the essence of man. The grimace of the fool, who shamelessly denudes himself before others in confession, becomes a sign of the isolation of the modern self and the end of the utopia of sincerity pursued by Rousseau.

Així mateix, la identitat, que ha estat el tema nuclear de l’art, el pensament i la ciència occidentals des del Romanticisme fins al jo líquid de la Postmodernitat, ha adquirit una dimensió polisèmica al llarg del temps. Els articles que aplega Violència i identitat, escrits per especialistes en crítica literària i estudis culturals, tracten aquestes qüestions alternant la mirada cap a les víctimes amb les múltiples figuracions de la violència en llibres com Barbablavai Cinquanta ombres de Grey, en la narrativa negra catalana escrita per dones, en l’obra d’autors sirians i en la de Jean Améry, Ryszard Kapuscinski, Herta Müller, Isabella Santacroce i debbie tucker green, entre d’altres. En conjunt, el volum cartografia la violència i també la seva funció, la identitat, de manera que, en recórrer aquest itinerari d’una direcció a l’altra, crea una xarxa de senders molt suggeridora.

    Description: The monograph focuses on a special type of collocations–Support, or Light, Verb Constructions (SVCs). SVCs consist of a semantically reduced verb together with a noun (as the direct object or embedded in a prepositional phrase) that conveys core lexical meaning to the combination. SVCs often vary cross-linguistically, with languages using different strategies to conceptualize the same denotative situations. This study in line with the principles of the Integrated Contrastive Model, aims firstly to offer a corpus-driven contrastive cognitive-semantic description of SVCs in Russian and Italian based on the Construction Grammar model; and secondly to conduct a Contrastive Interlanguage Analysis of the use of Russian SVCs by Italian-speaking students. The findings of this study, in addition to its theoretical significance, may be useful in teaching Russian as a foreign language and could be of interest for lexicography.

    Description: Diplomalar eğitim tarihi açısından önemli belgelerdir. Onları veren okullar, okutulan dersler ve giderek o dersleri okutan hocalar hakkında ilginç bilgiler verirler. Yükseköğretim tarihi ile ilgilenmeye başladıktan sonra birer belge niteliği taşıyan çeşitli alanlardaki diplomaların kendilerini ve kopyalarını toplamaya başladım ve zaman içinde bir diploma koleksiyonu ortaya çıktı. Bunlara öğrenci kimlik ve belgeleri de eklendi. On yıl önce bunlardan bir sergi açma gündeme geldiyse de çeşitli nedenlerle gerçekleşemedi ve hazırladığım sergi kataloğu da bir taslak halinde kaldı. Yakın dönemde bu projeye eski bir mensubu olduğum İstanbul Üniversitesi tarafından sahip çıkıldı. Bu kitap İstanbul Üniversitesi Rektörlüğü tarafından düzenlenmesi planlanan “Osmanlı’dan Cumhuriyet’e Yükseköğrenim Diploma ve Belgeleri” adlı serginin genişletilmiş kataloğudur. Sergi özel koleksiyonumda bulunan diploma ve belgelerin seçilmiş bir bölümünü içerecektir. Kitapta ise koleksiyonumda bulunan tüm diploma ve belgelere yer verildiği gibi belirli bir alan veya okul için kronolojik açıdan boşluk olan yerlerde sürekliliği sağlamak amacıyla çeşitli kaynaklardan alınan bazı diploma ve belgeler de verilmiştir. Ayrıca, diploma ve belgelerin yanına ilginç bazı fotoğraflflar da eklenmiştir. Böylece diplomalar üzerinden Türkiye’deki yükseköğretimin tarihinin ana hatları da verilmeye çalışılmıştır, Diplomalar büyük bir çaba gösterip emek harcayarak onları elde etmiş olan sahipleri açısından hem manen ve hem de kendilerine bir iş sağlaması bakımından maddeten büyük değer taşır ve korunur. Ancak, piyasada çok sayıda eski diplomanın satılır olması ailelerdeki aidiyet duygusunun genellikle zayıf olmasından dolayı kişilerin ölümünden sonra çocuklarının anne veya babalarının diplomalarını evde koyacak bir yer bulamamalarından olsa gerek eskiciye satmalarından kaynaklanmaktadır. Kitapta bulunan ve kaynak gösterilmemiş olan tüm diploma, belge ve fotoğraflflar özel koleksiyonumdadır. Elli yıllık geçmişi olan ve artık tarihsellik kazanmış bulunan kendi diploma ve bazı belgelerimi de kitaba ekledim. Burada sunulan diplomaların ve belgelerin bir bölümü daha önce yaptığım çeşitli yayınlarda yayınlanmış olmakla birlikte önemli bir bölümü ilk kez yayınlanmaktadır. Kitap düzenlenirken diploma ve belgeler tıp ve sağlık bilimleri, sosyal bilimler, fen bilimleri ve mühendislik olmak üzere kendi içlerinde alt bölümlere ayrılan dört ana grup altında toplanmıştır. Her bölümün başında o okulun veya kurumun geçmişine ilişkin çok kısa bir bilgi verilmiştir. Aynı kökten gelen farklı okul ve kurumlar için verilen bilgilerde ister istemez bazı küçük tekrarlar da olmuştur. Bazı çok önemli kişi veya olaylar hakkında da kısa açıklamalar yapılmıştır. Kitabın son kısmında doğrudan yükseköğrenim ile ilişkili olmamakla birlikte eğitim tarihimiz açısından önem taşıyan bazı diploma ve belgelere de yer verilmiştir. Ayrıca, kitaba Türkiye’deki yükseköğretimin toplu bir kronolojisi de eklenmiştir. Bazı okullar ve dönemler için diploma ve belge bulmak son derece güçtür. Örneğin, İnâs Darülfünunu’nun bu güne kadar bilinen iki diploması vardır. Bu güne kadar Darülfünun-ı Şâhâne’den 1908 öncesinde verilmiş Ulûm-ı Âliye-i Diniye Şubesi’ne ilişkin bir diploma dışında başka bir diplomaya rastlanmamıştır. Burada sunulan tıp, sosyal ve fen bilimleri alanlarındaki diploma ve belgelerin çok büyük bir çoğunluğu doğal olarak İstanbul Üniversitesi’nin geçmişine ilişkindir.

    Description: El 2001, feia cinquanta anys que Jordi Pere Cerdà (Premi d’Honor de les Lletres Catalanes1995) entrava en literatura amb «La guatila i la garba ».És un col·loqui científic que li fou ofert com a prova d’homenatge, just en aquella terra de Cerdanya «entremig de totes les terres» que nodreix la seva obra d‘imatges, de saba dialectal, de memòria col·lectiva, però també de qüestionaments sobre el que ell anomena el «trencat» i el «cosit»: la ferida i el lligam - sobre la frontera - totes les fronteres. Trenta cinc escriptors, investigadors, universitaris catalans, francesos i occitans varen reunir-se per parlar de Jordi Pere Cerdà i analitzar una obra major de la nostra literatura contemporània. Un home i una obra que són l’expressió mateixa de la problemàtica que planteja la catalanitat al País del Nord.

    Description: L’obra completa de Rossend Arús i Arderiu (1845-1891), dramaturg popular, republicà, catalanista, lliurepensador i maçó, integra més de cinquanta peces dramàtiques i constitueix la col·lecció més extensa de teatre vuitcentista a l’abast del lector actual. De les seves peces, que tenen una dimensió política, sobresurten els drames realistes contemporanis i en prosa, en què l’autor va ser pioner.     Description: La variació de tot tipus que es manifesta en qualsevol llengua és el símptoma (o la manifestació) del canvi. Podem dir que la variació lingüística resulta de captar una imatge estàtica de la llengua però projectada en el contínuum tetradimensional espai-temps. Per la seva pròpia naturalesa, la variació, doncs, només pot ser estudiada des d’un punt de vista integracional i tenint en compte la dimensió temporal. Imbricacions entre variació històrica i variació geogràfica en la llengua catalana aplega les contribucions que es van presentar a la dissetena edició del Col·loqui Lingüístic de la Universitat de Barcelona (CLUB 17) amb l’objectiu de presentar aspectes concrets (en fonètica, morfologia, sintaxi i lèxic) de la imbricació entre variació històrica i variació geogràfica i també d’examinar les conseqüències metodològiques i didàctiques que comporta aquesta mirada complexa.

    Description: The risk, uncertainty and security of the energy system development are the topics which relevance has been determined by the particularly complicated issues of the energy supply and its functioning in contemporary societies under global energy system. The development of the energy sector has always been not only one of the basic conditions for society development, but one of the most serious threats to enormous and multidimensional (economic, health, ecological, social and political) predictable and unpredictable, probable and unexpected multifaceted security issues. The consequences of the positive and negative globalization are particularly evident in the energy sector, both in the provision of cheap and environmentally friendly energy resources, and in the event of harmful and even tragic consequences for the development of the energy system. An important element of energy politics in liberal democratic societies is the public opinion and participation. The perception of energy security in the Lithuanian society is analyzed from rational choice, reflexive modernization, system theory, postmodern perspective, cultural theory, and governance theory points of views. Sociological analysis of energy security is considered to be a relatively separate branch of sociology. It differs from other topics not so much on the particularity of the theoretical approaches, but on the topic itself. It requires specific adaptation of risk theories for the analysis of specific data. The monograph is based on data from two (2013 and 2014) representative Lithuanian society surveys (18 and older). The results reflect the opinion of Lithuanian population distributed by age, sex, place of residence, education, purchasing power and occupation.

La finalitat és incidir en les polítiques públiques i en el debat social informat sobre els reptes bioètics que plantegen el sistema alimentari actual i la seva evolució; atenent, en particular, al paper que la innovació i les tecnologies de la informació tindran en la seguretat, qualitat i sostenibilitat efectives del sistema, i en especial pel que fa a la comunicació i la percepció dels riscos per part dels ciutadans. El Grup d’Opinió de l’Observatori de Bioètica i Dret es va constituir el 1996 sota la direcció de la Dra. María Casado i té entre els seus objectius incidir en el diàleg entre la universitat i la societat mitjançant la transmissió del coneixement cientificotècnic i els arguments necessaris per participar en un debat social informat. Amb la publicació d’aquest document sobre informació alimentària ja són vint-i-cinc els documents que han tractat temes d’actualitat sobre els quals no existeix una opinió unànime, ni en la societat ni en les diferents comunitats científiques implicades. Això ha requerit identificar els problemes, contrastar els arguments i proposar recomanacions de consens. En aquest document, centrat en les qüestions bioètiques que tenen a veure amb la informació alimentària, el Grup d’Opinió vol posar de manifest la desconnexió existent entre l’actual política d’informació alimentària, basada en l’etiquetatge i la difusió indiscriminada d’informació alimentària que suporta el consumidor, així com les conseqüències que aquesta situació té sobre les eleccions alimentàries individuals, la salut pública i la perpetuació de pràctiques productives i patrons de consum ambientalment i socialment insostenibles. [spa] El Observatorio de Bioética y Derecho (OBD), con este documento sobre las cuestiones éticas y jurídico-políticas relacionadas con la información alimentaria, inicia una nueva línea de documentos acerca de las implicaciones éticas, jurídicas y sociales de los temas alimentarios, dada su importancia creciente y su relación con la bioética y los derechos humanos. La finalidad es incidir en las políticas públicas y en el debate social informado sobre los retos bioéticos que plantea el sistema alimentario actual y su evolución, atendiendo, en particular, al papel que van a jugar la innovación y las tecnologías de la información en la seguridad, la calidad y la sostenibilidad efectiva del sistema, y especialmente a la comunicación y percepción de los riesgos por parte de los ciudadanos. El Grupo de Opinión del OBD que ha elaborado este documento se constituyó en 1996 bajo la dirección de la Dra. María Casado. Entre sus objetivos se encuentra incidir en el diálogo entre la universidad y la sociedad mediante la transmisión del conocimiento científico-técnico y los argumentos necesarios para participar en un debate social informado. Con la publicación de este documento sobre información alimentaria, se han elaborado ya veinticinco documentos relacionados con temas de actualidad y sobre los que no existe una opinión unánime ni en la sociedad ni en las diversas comunidades científicas implicadas, hecho que ha requerido identificar los problemas, contrastar los argumentos y proponer recomendaciones de consenso. The aim of this work is to influence public policy and inform social debate on the bioethical challenges posed by the current food system and its evolution. In particular, the document takes into account the role that innovation and information technologies will play in the safety, quality and sustainability of the system. It addresses specifically communication-related issues and public perception of risks associated with foods. The “Opinion Group” of the OBD that has prepared this document was constituted in 1996 under the leadership of Dr. María Casado. Among its objectives is to influence the dialogue between the university and society through the transference of scientific-technical knowledge and the analysis of arguments needed to participate in informed social debate. With the publication of this document on food information, twenty-five documents have now been published concerning current issues on which no agreed upon consensus in society or in the various scientific communities involved exists. This has required identifying problems, comparing perspectives and proposing consensus-based recommendations. This document focuses on bioethical issues related to food information and highlights the disconnect between current food information policy based on labelling and the indiscriminate dissemination of food information available to the consumer through different channels.     Description: 2014 yılında yaz başında (09 Haziran) yaptığımız toplantıya dayanıyor bu kitabın hikâyesi. Toplantıda İstanbul Üniversitesi’nde gönüllülüğü nasıl yaygınlaştıracağımızı tartışmıştık. Hayata geçirebileceğimiz çeşitli uygulamalardan söz etmiş, ancak ne yaparsak yapalım uygulamaların araştırmaya dayanması gerektiğinin altını çizmiştik. Böylelikle Sosyoloji Araştırma Merkezi bünyesinde gerçekleştirdiğimiz “İstanbul Üniversitesi Öğrencilerinin Gönüllülük Algıları, Eğilimleri ve Deneyimleri” araştırması ortaya çıktı. Süreç içerisinde farklı bileşenler eklediğimiz bu araştırma, sonrasında “Üniversitede Gönüllü Olmak” başlığıyla kitaba dönüştü. Ayrıca bu araştırmadan hareketle öğrencilerin gönüllülük konusundaki farkındalıklarını artırmak amacıyla Gönüllü Akademisi (seminer, atölye, film okuması, STK ziyareti vb. etkinliklerden oluşan 10 haftalık bir program) ve Gönüllü Ol İstanbul Platformu (gönüllü olmak isteyenlerle gönüllü arayan STK’ları, projeleri, kampanyaları buluşturmak, eşleştirmek için kurulan İstanbul Üniversitesi öğrencilerine yönelik platform) hayata geçirildi. Elbette araştırma ve uygulamaların tamamı öğrenci arkadaşlarımızla ve hepimizin gönüllü çalışmalarıyla ilerledi. En başından itibaren gönüllülük üzerine yapılan çalışmaların doğasını yitirmemesine özen göstermeye -ne kadar başarabildik bilmiyoruz elbette- gayret ettik. Gerek Gönüllü Akademisine gerekse düzenlediğimiz gönüllülük çalışmalarına 1000’den fazla öğrenci dahil oldu. Bunun yanı sıra Sosyoloji Bölümü bünyesinde Sivil Toplum ve Gönüllülük dersi açıldı ve öğrencilerin ilgi gösterdiği önemli seçmeli derslerden biri hâline geldi. Bunu yine Sosyoloji Bölümü bünyesinde açılan STK ve Sosyal Sorumluluk Yönetimi Tezsiz Yüksek Lisans programı takip etti. Bu program STK alanındaki öncü ve deneyimli isimlerin verdiği dersler üzerine temellendirildi. Daha çok sektörde çalışan profesyonellerin, STK alanında çalışmak isteyenlerin ve gönüllülerin katıldığı bir program olarak hâlen sürdürmekteyiz. Bununla birlikte gönüllülük, STK’lar ve ilgili konularda paneller ve çalıştaylar düzenledik. Son olarak Gençlik ve Spor Bakanlığı için Türkiye Gönüllülük Araştırmasını gerçekleştirdik. Bu çerçevede İstanbul Üniversitesi Edebiyat Fakültesi Sosyoloji Bölümü olarak her düzeyde gönüllülük ve STK’lar alanında çalışma yapmaya, öğrenciler arasında gönüllülüğü yaygınlaştırmaya, STK alanında bilgi ve deneyim paylaşımını sağlamaya ve bu alanda ilişki ve işbirliğini geliştirmeye devam ediyoruz. Bu kitabın hazırlayıcı adımlarından biri ise 18 Nisan 2018’de İstanbul Üniversitesi’nde düzenlediğimiz “Üniversitelerde Gönüllülük Dersi Müfredat Çalıştayı”dır. Akademisyenlerin, STK profesyonellerinin, gönüllülerin, öğrenci kulüplerinden temsilcilerin vb. katıldığı bu çalıştayda üniversitelerde gönüllülük müfredatını katılımcı bir perspektifle ele aldık. Bu çalıştayın katılımcılarının fikirleri elinizdeki çalışmanın biçimlenmesinde önemli bir rol oynadı. Çalıştay raporu hazırlandı, ancak raporu yayımlayamadık. Müfredat çalıştayından sonra üniversitelerde seçmeli ders fikri ve bu ders için hazırlanacak materyaller konusunda yeni adımlar planladık. Ancak farklı gündemler nedeniyle o dönem gerçekleştiremediğimiz bu çalışmaya Yükseköğretim Kurulu Başkanlığının 2020 Nisan ayında üniversitelerde “Gönüllülük Çalışmaları” dersinin seçmeli olarak açılmasına yönelik aldığı kararla yeniden döndük ve kitap çalışmalarımızı hızlandırdık. Bu çalışmanın kapsayıcı ve kuşatıcı olmasına özen göstermemiz ve farklı konuları ele alma arzumuz nedeniyle süreç biraz uzadı, ancak nihayet tamamlandı ve artık karşınızdayız. “Gönüllülük ve Gönüllülerle Birlikte Çalışmak” gönüllülüğü farklı boyutlarıyla ele alarak günümüzde gönüllülükle ilgili çok sayıdaki bağlamı ve kavramı okuyucuya sunma hedefini taşıyor. Ancak her bir bölümün kendi içinde belirdiği haliyle gönüllülüğü farklılaştıran boyutları göz ardı etmiyor. Günümüzde gönüllülüğün ancak tüm boyutları ile ele alındığı takdirde tarihsel ve toplumsal bağlamla ilişki kurmanın mümkün olduğunu iddia ediyor bu kitap. Kitapta birçok başlık yalnız STK yöneticilerine hitap ediyor gibi görünmekle birlikte burada asıl hedef gönüllülük yapacak kişileri bilgilendirmek, onları gönüllülük faaliyetlerine hazır hale getirmek, STK yöneticilerinin farkındalığını sağlamak ve gönüllülerin gelecekte hayata geçirecekleri kendi gönüllülük girişimlerini daha nitelikli hâle getirmelerine katkıda bulunmaktır. Kitap okuyuculara gönüllülüğün farklı boyutlarını tanıma imkânı sunmaktadır. Kitabın iki boyutu olduğu söylenebilir: Birincisi gönüllülük deneyimi sınırlı olan ya da hiç gönüllü olmamış kişilere gönüllülüğün farklı boyutlarını göstermektir. İkincisi ise kişilerin gönüllülük çalışmaları organize etmeleri, bu yönde inisiyatif almaları durumunda gönüllülerle beraber nasıl çalışabilecekleri konusunda onlara yeni araçlar sağlamaktır. Evrensel boyutları olsa da gönüllülük toplumların kültürel, tarihi, dini, siyasi, ekonomik ve coğrafi birikimine bağlı olarak ortaya çıkar. Bu nedenle kitapta son 50 yıldır yaşanan yeni gelişmelere ve eğilimlere yer verirken Türkiye’nin kendine özgü bir gönüllülük anlayışına ve kültürüne sahip olduğunu unutmadan ilerlemeye çalışıyoruz. Türkiye’nin gönüllülük alanındaki köklü ve zengin birikiminin toplumun inanç ve yaşama kültürüne yaslandığını, gönüllülüğün karşılıksız bir dayanışmayı içerdiğini sıklıkla vurguluyoruz. Diğer taraftan gönüllülüğün farklı boyutlarını tanıtarak eleştirel bir perspektiften tartışmayı, bu tartışmayı derinleştirmeyi ve nitelikli hâle getirmeyi, yeni araştırma ve uygulama odaklarını göstermeyi amaçlıyoruz. Kitabın içerik tasarımında gönüllülük sahasının öncelikli konularına yer vermeyi amaç edindik. Bölümlerin bazıları kuramsal tartışmalara ve yaklaşımlara odaklanırken bir kısmı gönüllülüğün uygulama boyutuyla ilişkilidir. Ayrıca alandaki yeni eğilimlere ve tartışmalı konulara da kitapta bölüm düzeyinde yer verdik. Gönüllülüğün modern dönemde değişen doğasını ve 1970’li yıllar sonrasında gelişen neoliberal bağlamı ihmal etmeden ama güncel gelişmeleri de görmezden gelmeden gönüllülükle ilişkili temel konuları ele almaya çalıştık. Bu yaklaşım tanıyarak tartışmayı ve eleştirel bir perspektif geliştirmeyi içermektedir. Bu nedenle kitapta birbirleriyle çelişkili gibi duran, farklı perspektiflere sahip kavramlara ve yaklaşımlara yer verilmesi alanı tanıtmanın ve eleştirel bir perspektif geliştirmenin öncelikli bir hedef olmasıyla ilgilidir. Giriş dahil on altı farklı bölümden farklı bölümden oluşan kitapta yazarlar arasında ortak bir dil oluşturmaya çalışırken her bir yazarın ve konunun gerektirdiği perspektifi korumaya özen gösterdik. Her bölümün kendi içerisinde farklı konumlanma ve değerlendirmeler ihtiva etmesine imkân tanıdık. Bu nedenle kitabı okurken hem bir bütün hem de birbirinden farklı parçalarla karşı karşıya olduğunuzu hatırdan çıkarmamanızı diliyoruz. Kitabın yayımlanmasından sonra okuyuculardan gelecek geri dönüşler ve yazarların kendi aralarında yapacakları tartışmalar neticesinde hem kitabın mevcut halinin geliştirilmesi mümkün olacak hem de yeni yazarlar ve bölümlerin eklenmesiyle eser genişleyerek okuyucusuna yeni perspektifler sunmaya devam edecektir.

    Description: Die sprachlichen und stilistischen Schwierigkeiten bei der Lektüre von "Der traurige Detektiv" offenbaren sich darin, dass sowohl die Figuren, als auch die Autorenspräche viele und mannigfaltige Nuancen zeigen, für deren Aufdeckung manchmal sogar die größeren Wörterbücher der russischen Sprache nicht ausreichend sind. Das vorliegende Buch hat zum Teil auch einen "linguistisch-landeskundlichen" Charakter, insbesondere bei Begriffen, die durch die russische und sowjetische Geschichte und gegenwärtige Gesellschaftsordnung geprägt sind, Begriffen, die in der deutschen Sprache und Realität keine direkten Entsprechungen aufweisen.

    Description: Approximation of Turkish Law with European Union Law maintains its importance and actuality apart from the context of full membership goal as well. Global trade requires interplay between all world countries with regard to the development and formation of public and private law. Private law regulations in Continental Europe, that constitute models for Turkish law, have been developing under the influence of European Union Law. In any field of law, the authority of the European Union to intervene in national laws is limited to the competences provided by the Treaties. Therefore, acts of the European Union in the field of private law aims the improvement of the internal market and enhanced cooperation between the Member States both by harmonization of national laws and their implementation. Studies and proposals carried out by the European Union for the harmonization of laws should be/are closely followed by our country. Establishment of Customs Union between Turkey and European Union in 1995 with the 1/95 numbered Community Council Decision and initiation of accession negotiations in October 2005 have accelerated the harmonization process of Turkish law with the European Union law. In the heat of these events, it can be observed that the preamble of most of the main codifications and secondary regulations in the field of company law, banking and capital markets law, intellectual and commercial property law, competition law, consumer law and protection of personal data law; reflects the aim of approximation with European Union legislation. Turkey’s geographical location, parallelly the fact that majority of the states, which Turkey has economical, cultural and sociological relations with, are members of the European Union following the impact of European Union on the model laws of Turkish laws, including Swiss law which keep tab on European Union law, necessitates the harmonization of European Union law to remain on Turkish lawyers’ agenda in the future as well. Hence, this Book Project has been prepared by the first documentation center acknowledged by European Union’s competent publishing and distribution bodies, Istanbul University Faculty of Law European Law Application and Research Center, with the object of providing a source for publications and conferences of Turkish lawyers who are keen to work in this field. This Project is an academic study and reflects the evaluation of the authors on harmonization of Turkish law with European Union law and their opinions for the methodology for an approximation of Turkish legislation. Although it is not either an official report or an action plan, it has been prepared with the view of providing a reference to public authorities, especially Ministry of Foreign Affairs Directorate for European Union Affairs and European Union harmonization offices in other relevant ministries. The preparation phase of this Project includes determination of the subdisciplines of Turkish private law, in which harmonization with European Union law, has been taken in regard. The specification of a certain topic is left to the authors. As a matter of course, it was not possible for us to cover all the subdisciplines of private law likewise to examine the entire European Union acquis in the included fields. Our perspective is to provide an insight into European law, its comparison with European Union law and evaluation of alignment. With this regard, every contributor examined the regulation which includes the most general rules on that topic. Although the examined regulations have been enacted on the legal basis of the Treaties, the relevant articles have been explained under the “Remarks” title. In this way, with the exception of topics under “Competition Law” chapter, only the masthead of the acts of European Union organs are shown under the “Legislation” title. Besides, all the examined European Union legislation and their legal basis are shown in the European Union legislation list and index at the end of this book. Subdisciplines of private law to be studied has been designated taking into account several factors, such as the necessity of reevaluation and updating with the current acquis, despite the fact that Turkey’s remarkable progress in the past according to the European Commission country reports; Ministry of European Union’s Action Plan covering the years of 2016-2019; 11th development plan of Turkish Presidency. Thus, the Project touches on Company Law, Financial Services, Consumer and Health Protection, Intellectual Property chapters which have been opened for negotiations, and Competition Policy chapter that has not yet been opened for negotiation alongside the Protection Of Personal Data which is not itself a negotiation chapter but concerns several chapters of negotiation. Regulations in the aforementioned fields have been analyzed under the Company Law, Banking and Capital Markets Law, Intellectual and Commercial Property Law, Competition Law, Consumer Law and Protection of Personal Data Law main titles. Within the scope of the Project, contributors were expected to prepare their work according to the following outline: I. Legislation A. European Union Legislation B. Turkish Legislation; II. Remarks A. European Union Law, B. Turkish Law; III. Assessments and Suggestions. By this means, the necessity of the readers to get conveniently informed solely on the European Union Law or Turkish law related to that subject is considered. Assessments and suggestions have been provided under a separate title with the view of improving on the perception of approximation with European Union which only focuses on the translation of legislation and relation of European Union law with Turkish law can be put forward in an integrated mindset. Under this title, the conclusions reached by evaluating Turkish law and European Union law have been placed in numerical order. In other respects, contributors were provided flexibility in terms of methodology to be used for their remarks and assessments and freedom to include the Turkish translation of the relevant European Union legislation and place article proposals for Turkish legislation. Editorial Board elaborated on determining the main subjects and, alongside the review of all studies with respect to the fundamental aim of this book, providing for systematical coherence thereof.

    Description: Türk hukukunun Avrupa Birliği hukukuna uyumunun sağlanması, tam üyelik hedefi bağlamında ve bunun dışında ülkemizde önemini ve güncelliğini koruyan bir meseledir. Küresel ticaret, yalnızca ülkemiz değil bütün dünya ülkelerinde kamu ve özel hukukun gelişim ve şekillenmesinde etkileşim içerisinde olmayı gerektirmektedir. Türk hukukunda özel hukuk alanında ağırlıkla takip edilen mehaz hukuk düzenlemeleri ise Avrupa Birliği’nin etkisi altında gelişmektedir. Avrupa Birliği organlarının herhangi bir hukuk alanında düzenleme yapma yetkisi kurucu anlaşmalarla üye devletlerin Birliğe bırakmış olduğu yetkiler ile sınırlıdır. Özel hukuk alanındaki Avrupa Birliği tasarrufları, temel olarak iç pazarın geliştirilmesi/ güçlendirilmesi ve tüm üye devletlerin hukuk düzenlemeleri ile uygulamalarının uyumlaştırılması hedefine yönelir. Bu alanda Avrupa Birliği tarafından yürütülen iç hukukların yakınlaştırılmasına yönelik çalışmalar ve tasarruflar ülkemizce yakından takip edilmektedir/edilmelidir. 1/95 sayılı Ortaklık Konseyi Kararı ile 1995 yılında Gümrük Birliği’nin tesisi ve Ekim 2005’te katılım müzakerelerinin açılması Avrupa Birliği mevzuatıyla uyum sürecine ivme katan gelişmelerdendir. Bu gelişmelerin etkisinde ülkemizde şirketler hukuku, bankacılık ve sermaye piyasası hukuku, fikrî ve sınai mülkiyet hukuku, rekabet hukuku, tüketici hukuku ve kişisel verilerin korunması hukuku alanlarında çıkarılan kanunların ve ikincil mevzuatın genel gerekçelerine Avrupa Birliği mevzuatıyla uyum amacının aksettirildiği görülmektedir. İşbu Kitap projesi 1973 yılında kurulan ve Avrupa Birliği’nin yetkili yayın ve dağıtım kuruluşlarınca tanınan Türkiye’deki ilk dokümantasyon merkezi olan İstanbul Üniversitesi Hukuk Fakültesi Avrupa Hukuku Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi tarafından, Türk hukukçularının bu alanda yapacağı bilimsel eserlere ve toplantılara kaynaklık etme gayesiyle hazırlanmıştır. Proje, akademik çalışma niteliğindedir ve yazarların Türk ve Avrupa Birliği hukukunun uyumuna ilişkin güncel değerlendirmeleri ile mevzuat yakınlaştırmasının ne şekilde yapılabileceği hakkında görüşlerini içermektedir. Çalışmanın başta Dışişleri Bakanlığı Avrupa Birliği Başkanlığı ve diğer ilgili Bakanlıklar nezdinde bulunan Avrupa Birliği uyum komisyonları olmak üzere, kamu mercileri tarafından hazırlanan rapor veya ulusal program/eylem planlarının hayata geçirilmesine yardımcı olması amaçlanmaktadır. Hazırlık sürecinde öncelikle hukukumuzda Avrupa Birliği hukukuyla uyumun gözetildiği özel hukukun alt disiplinleri belirlenmiş, bu alanlarda ele alınacak konunun tercihi proje katılımcılarına bırakılmıştır. Proje, özel hukukun tüm alt disiplinlerini kapsamadığı gibi belirlenen alanlara yönelik tüm Avrupa Birliği müktesebatının da ele alınmadığının altı çizilmelidir. Her bir katılımcı, belirlediği konu başlığı altında konuyu en kapsamlı şekilde ele alan düzenlemeleri incelemektedir. İncelenen düzenlemelerin tamamı Avrupa Birliği Kurucu Antlaşmalarında iç pazarın işleyişine yönelik hükümlere dayanmaktaysa da bu hükümlere, incelenen mevzuatın gösterildiği künyeler yerine Avrupa Birliği hukukuna yönelik açıklamalar başlıkları altında yer verilmektedir. Böylelikle rekabet hukuku bölümü altındaki konu başlıkları hariç, Avrupa Birliği mevzuatı başlığı altında yalnızca Avrupa Birliği organları tarafından çıkarılan tasarrufların künyeleri gösterilmektedir. Bunun yanında incelenen tüm AB mevzuatının Avrupa Birliği Kurucu Antlaşmalarındaki dayanaklarının da gösterildiği listesi kitabın sonunda okuyucuların istifadesine sunulmaktadır. Alt disiplinler, Türkiye’nin belirli bir yol kat ettiği fakat güncel Avrupa Birliği mevzuatı ışığında uyumunun yeniden değerlendirilmesi ihtiyacının bulunduğu alanları kapsayacak şekilde Avrupa Komisyonu Türkiye Ülke Raporları ve 2016- 2019 yıllarını kapsayan Avrupa Birliği Bakanlığı tarafından hazırlanan Avrupa Birliği’ne Katılım İçin Ulusal Eylem Planı ve Cumhurbaşkanlığı 11. Mezkûr alanlarla ilgili düzenlemeler Şirketler Hukuku, Bankacılık ve Sermaye Piyasası Hukuku, Fikrî ve Sınai Mülkiyet Hukuku, Rekabet Hukuku, Tüketici Hukuku ve Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Hukuku ana başlıkları altında incelenmektedir. Proje kapsamında katılımcılardan çalışmalarını I. Mevzuat A. Avrupa Birliği Hukuku B. Türk Hukuku; II. Açıklamalar A. Avrupa Birliği Hukuku B. Türk Hukuku, III. Değerlendirme ve Öneriler planını takip ederek hazırlamaları beklenmiştir. Bu sayede her bir konuyla alakalı yalnızca Avrupa Birliği hukuku veya yalnızca Türk hukuku hakkında bilgi edinmek isteyen okuyucuların da çalışmadan rahatça istifade edilebilmesi gözetilmiştir. Değerlendirme ve önerilerin ayrı bir başlık altında sıralanmasıyla, Avrupa Birliği mevzuatıyla uyum anlayışının Avrupa Birliği mevzuatının tercüme edilmesinin ötesinde ve hukukumuzla ilişkisinin bütüncül bir yaklaşım ile ele alınarak ortaya konulması hedeflenmektedir. Bu başlık altında Türk hukuku ile Avrupa Birliği hukuku birlikte değerlendirilerek varılan sonuçlara numara sırası ile yer verilmiştir. Bununla birlikte katılımcılara değerlendirmelerinde izleyecekleri yol konusunda esneklik sağlanmış, katılımcılar Avrupa Birliği mevzuatının çevirisini çalışmalarına ekleme, madde önerisinde bulunma konularında serbest bırakılmıştır. Editörler Kurulu, bu noktada ana konu başlıklarının belirlenmesi ve tüm çalışmaların işbu Kitabın yöneldiği temel amaç doğrultusunda incelenmesi yanında, bunlar arasında sistematik bir ahengin sağlanmasına da özen göstermiştir.
