Solar Gamma Ray Lines observed during the Solar Activity of August 2 to August 11, 1972

Abstract

WE report preliminary observations from OSO-7 on the emission of gamma ray lines associated with the solar flares on August 4 and 7, 1972. This is the first observation of such solar gamma rays.
