SPONTANEOUS COMBUSTION OF HAY

Abstract

THE self-heating of hay has long been a subject on which many conflicting theories have been put forward. Our recentwork1,2 has provided data which may perhaps help to give a clearer understanding of the processes preceding spontaneous combustion.
