Reduction of Optical Reflectivity of Glass Surfaces Resulting from Ion Bombardment

Abstract

THE bombardment of glass by ions under certain experimental conditions may result in a permanent change of the surface such that the reflexion of light from the surface is reduced and also the transmission through the glass is increased.
