A New Method for the Separation of Hydrocarbons by Selective Adsorption

Abstract

THE separation of hydrocarbons can be effected by different methods, for example, crystallization, distillation and solvent treatment. A particular type of the last method is that of fractional precipitation from solution in light hydrocarbons such as propane by the use of methane and other gases under high pressure1.
