Abstract

A new sensitive sensor suitable for measuring weak magnetic fields and based on rotating amorphous ribbons is described. The principle of the sensor operation is based on the dependence of the ribbon magnetization on the magnetic field intensity. The possibility of changing the sensor parameters by using an additional homogeneous magnetic field, perpendicular to the plane of rotation, has been considered. The influence of the direction of the magnetic anisotropy axis of the amorphous ribbons used in the sensor on the main sensor parameters has been investigated.
