Abstract

Excitation functions have been measured for the formation of intermediate-mass-fragments in reactions of E/A = 20–100 MeV14N + natAg and 197Au. The data have been analyzed in terms of a phenomenological moving-source model based on equilibrium, nonequilibrium and projectile-like sources. Systematic features of the data and the moving-source fit parameters are examined.
