Abstract

The 8.113 and 8.130 MeV states of 45Sc have been identified as the main components of the split isobaric analogue of the lowest 32 state of 45Ca. A group of 45Sc levels around 4.5 MeV is strongly excited in the γ-decay. The total M1 strength has the expected order of magnitude.
