Abstract

Related to a question put by Vorob'ev and Zaslavsky on a quartic coupled oscillator, we show that the normalized flow is similar to the “rigid body in torque-free rotation”. Three bifurcations occur corresponding to parameter values of integrable cases. This analysis could help in understanding quantum chaos and the level distribution of this model.
