Abstract

Antiferromagnetic resonance experiments in the range 10–60 GHz were performed on a series of quasi 1d Mn2+ compounds. Rather large deviations from classical AFMR theory were observed, in accordance with the experiments at higher frequencies of Tuchendler et al. These deviations have a substantial temperature dependence and seem to be related to the amount of easy plane anisotropy.
