Specific heat measurements have been performed on ceramic samples of superconducting SmBa2Cu3O7−x between 2 K and 200 K. A low temperature tail as well as a peak centered at 5.5 K are found. Above 10 K, a Debye temperature of 340 K is obtained. A specific heat jump of 3.5 J mole−1K−1 at the superconducting transition is also estimated.[/'ab]
