    Citation Excerpt :

The lower bound of DSC sensitivity is, typically, less than about 1 μW [190]. The uncertainties in the thermodynamic properties obtained with a DSC also depend on the calibration of the apparatus for temperature [191–201], heat [202–206], and electrical power [207–210]. The International Confederation of Thermal Analysis (ICTA), has recommended calibration procedures [193,194,210], and these have been reported as international standards ISO/CD 11357–1.
