Abstract

Describes how Lifecare NHS Trust established core values and an ISO 9000 quality framework as the foundation for patient care quality improvement. Discusses a procedural approach to ensure that Lifecare defines clearly the requirements of the management of every aspect of its care system. Presents a framework for total quality management and process improvement of care delivery.
