1,2-[3,4-Dihydro-2-(4-methoxyphenyl)-2H-pyrrolo][60]fullerene Carbon Disulfide

The title fullerene, C₆₉H₉NO.CS₂, is a low-symmetric derivative of C₆₀ and does not show the known disorder of the unsubstituted fullerene molecule. Contrary to spectroscopic investigations, the C_s symmetry of the molecule is no longer present in the crystal. The two bridging atoms, C1 and C2, `stand out' of the C₆₀ surface.
