The asymptotic distribution of αh is calculated via the distribution of the resultant of complex random vectors whose phase values are distributed according to Von Mises distributions. The statistical results suggest that the phase of the resultant, say θh, is distributed around the phase φh, approximately according to a Von Mises distribution.
