Zur Sedimentationsanalyse der Bluteiweißkörper

Zusammenfassung

Beschrieben wird ein Verfahren zur Sedimentationsanalyse des menschlichen Blutserums im Hinblick auf die Diagnose der Makroglobulinämie „Waldenström”. Neben der Darstellung der physikalischen Grundlagen des Meßverfahrens werden die einzelnen Auswertungsund Korrekturschritte ausführlich erläutert.

Die Ergebnisse einer ausgewerteten Messung dienen den Verfassern als Beispiel für eine spezifizierte Betrachtung der Fehlermöglichkeiten, im besonderen aber einer mathematischen Analyse der Fehlerfortpflanzung. Dabei wird darauf verwiesen, daß im allgemeinen mit erheblichen Fehlerbereichen zu rechnen ist, besonders dann, wenn der Untersuchungsaufwand beschränkt werden muß.

Described is a technique for making a diagnosis of the human blood serum with regards to the macroglobulinemia syndrom (Waldenström syndrom).

Apart from the representation of the physical foundations of the test procedure, the particular steps of evaluation and correction are described in detail. Considering the results of one experiment the authors are discussing the possibility of errors. At the same example they are carrying out a mathematical analysis of the propagation of error.

It is pointed out that in general the limits of error are expected to be wide, especially if the investigation expenditure is to be reduced.
