Zusammenfassung
Der Verlauf der Zersetzung von Cyansäure wurde im pH-Bereich 3 bis 12,5 durch Papierchromatographie stofflich und zeitlich untersucht. Als ein Zwischenprodukt wurde Dicyansäure wahrscheinlich gemacht. Harnstoff bildet sich mit der Alkalität zunehmend. Anfärbereaktionen für Cyanursäure und Harnstoff wurden neu entwickelt, andere für chromatographische Zwecke erprobt.
Abstract
Rate and mode of the decomposition of cyanic acid in the pH-range 3 to 12.5 were studied by means of paper chromatography. Dicyanic acid is a most likely intermediate. Urea formation increases with increasing alkalinity. Colour reactions for the identification of cyanuric acid and urea were newly developed, and some already known reactions investigated for use in paper chromatography.
