Summary
L-methionine was activated in the bremsstrahlung of 45MeV electrons in crystalline phase and in aqueous solution. Using H.V. paper electrophoresis11C-labeled methionine could be identified only after irradiation in the solid phase. No difference was detected from the ninhydrine-positive spots between irradiated amino acid and control.
Zusammenfassung
L-Methionin wurde in kristalliner Form und in wäßriger Lösung durch die Bremsstrahlung von 45 MeV-Elektronen aktiviert. Durch Hochspannungselektrophorese konnte11C-markiertes Methionin nur nach Bestrahlung in der festen Phase identifiziert werden. Zwischen bestrahlten Aminosäuren und Kontrollen konnte kein Unterschied des Ninhydrin-positiven Flecks nachgewiesen werden.
