Contribution to the determination of aminotriazole residues

Summary

The extraction behaviour of the herbicide aminotriazole (amitrole) from soils and possibilities of its identification and quantitative determination by means of photometry, liquid and thin-layer chromatography are discussed. The dansylation of amitrole, several possibilities of its LC-separation from other herbicides and typical UV and mass spectra are presented.

Zusammenfassung

Es wird das Extraktionsverhalten des Herbicides Aminotriazol (Amitrol) aus Böden sowie Möglichkeiten seiner Identifizierung und quantitativen Bestimmung auf photometrischer, flüssig- und dünnschicht-chromatographischer Basis diskutiert. Die Dansylierung sowie verschiedene LC-Trennmöglichkeiten des Amitrols von anderen Herbiciden sowie typische UV- und Massenspektren werden gezeigt.
