Ich ziehe es übrigens vor, den Kohlenstoff durch Verbrennen im Sauerstoffstrom in Kohlendioxyd überzuführen und die Verbrennungsproducte zuerst über zur Rothgluth erhitztes gekörntes Kupferoxyd und Bleichromat, dann durch eine Trockenröhre streichen zu lassen, ehe sie in den Absorptionsapparat eintreten.
