Pharm.211, 283), dass die Lösung von Cholesterin in Chloroform beim Durchschütteln mit Schwefelsäure von 1,76 spec. Gew. nach wenigen Minuten eine purpurrothe Färbung annimmt, welche mehrere Stunden lang anhält.
