New evaluation method for X-ray fluorescence analysis

Summary

A new evaluation method has been developed allowing the consideration of all elements, which are absorbing at longer wavelengths, by only one correction factor. The determination of the background is based on the experimentally stated correlation between the scattered intensities of different wavelengths.
