Summary
A new species of Scopulariopsis, S. murina Samson and Klopotek, is described. This species is closely related to S. sphaerospora and S. carbonaria, but differs from them in having smaller, cylindrical conidia and chlamydospores. In addition Paecilomyces fuscatus Inagaki is redescribed and the new name Scopulariopsis gracilis Samson is proposed for it.
