Spektralphotometrische Untersuchungen am Kartoffel-X-Virus

Zusammenfassung

Mit Hilfe von Reinpräparaten verschiedener Stämme des Kartoffel-X-Virus wurden die Kurven für die gesamte und die reine Absorption ermittelt. Dabei ließen sich zwischen den Stämmen keine Unterschiede in der Lichtabsorption feststellen. Bei 290 mμ war stets eine deutliche Einbuchtung vorhanden und aus dem Quotienten Erein280/260 ergab sich ein NS-Gehalt von etwa 6,6%. Chemische Analysen bestätigten diesen Wert. Für Konzentrationsmessungen an nativem und hydrolysiertem X-Virus wurden Eichkurven aufgestellt. Spektralphotometrische Daten für die Nucleinsäure und das Protein, sowie für hydrolysiertes X-Virus wurden angegeben und Vergleiche zu den Ergebnissen beim Tabakmosaik-Virus gezogen.
