Co2+ and Mn2+ ion locations in doped CsCdCl3

  • Published:
Il Nuovo Cimento D

Summary

Substitutional Co2+ and Mn2+ ions at the two different Cd sites in the compound CsCdCl3 have been studied by using electron paramagnetic resonance. The preferential occupation, Co2+ in the CdII site, Mn2+ in the CdI site, is discussed in terms of crystallochemical symmetry arguments.
