Man kann so zusammenfassend feststellen, daß die sinnvolle Einbeziehung der Dominanz, die sich in erhöhten Mengen der einzelnen Arten, insbesondere aber der soziologischen Artengruppen äußert, neben Berücksichtigung der gesamten Artengruppenkombination sowohl für die Gliederung der Vegetation wie auch für die Ansprache der Ökologie, vor allem des Standorts, sich als ein wesentlicher Fortschritt in der Vegetationskunde erweist.
