Abstract
The active phase surface of a series of γ-Al2O3-supported vanadium oxide catalysts has been determined by a kinetic method. A correlation is found between the size of the active surface and the catalytic activity of the samples during NO reduction with NH3. The results from the differential determination of the active phase surface can be used for predicting the catalytic activity of the catalysts investigated.
