Abstract
Studies on the catalytic properties of V-P catalysts of the composition Rx[(V4+O)x(V5+O)1−xPO4]·nH2O in the oxidation of butane indicate that at identical phase structure their catalytic activity depends on the V4+/V5+ ratio. Optimal properties have been found for catalysts containing 4–9 V5+ per one V4+.
