Abstract
The heats of atomically adsorbed oxygen and nitrogen on Ru(0001) and Ru(1010) planes have been calculated by the semiempirical bond interaction method. The calculations show that oxygen is strongly adsorbed on ruthenium, while molecular nitrogen cannot be chemisorbed on ruthenium.
Abstract
Полуэмпирическим методом взаимодействующих связей рассчитаны теплоты атомарно-адсорбированных кислорода и азота на грани (000I) и (I0I0) рутения. На основании расчетов показано, что Ru должен обладать высокой адсорбционной способностью по отношению к кислороду, в то время как молекулярный азот на рутении не может хемосорбироваться.
