Abstract

Absorption of amoxicillin was measured in healthy volunteers after oral administration of various capsules and suspensions of two brands. Absorption from suspension is faster and more complete than from capsules. There is a large variation in absorption between volunteers.

Samenvatting

Bij gezonde vrijwilligers werd de resorptie van amoxicilline bepaald na orale toediening van verschillende capsules en suspensies van twee handelspreparaten. De resorptie uit suspensie is sneller en vollediger dan uit capsules. Tussen vrijwilligers bestaat een grote variatie in resorptie.
